About Peter M. Sherman
Reviews for Peter M. Sherman
Dr Sherman was extremely knowledgeable about a medication I take that could effect my jaw bone. He was kind and made me comfortable by explaining everything that he was going to do. His staff was great, she was kind and friendly. She repeated the instructions after the doctor to make sure I understood everything I needed to do post surgery.
Unprofessional! Always late to appointments and rude receptionist cannot be bothered at all.
Stay away from DR. Sherman. He probes you about your life to find out how much he can change you, brags about his wealth and does not care about his patients. I called for an emergency tooth extraction and was told they he couldn’t do it because “he thought I was looking for drugs”, incredible way to treat your patients, go elsewhere!
Unethical dentist. Go somewhere else. Should've read reviews here before I came. When promised 100% covered, he charged a medical visit + x-ray instead of a dental one, which results a big claim for me. When questioned on this and he just say “I don't know where it goes”. Then he terminates the treatment for no reason. Just a greedy old jerk only cares about money. If still not convinced then read other 1star reviews. Unethical dentist. Go somewhere else. extremely condescending, stay away. Guy needs to retire.
Establishment clean, Dr answered any questions or concerns I may have had. The location convenient for me, also.

Peter Sherman DDS was a lovely and wonderful oral surgeon. He always had a great attitude and even made sure to check in with my brother and sister who were in the waiting room, before he removed my wisdom teeth. The surgery went well and he walked me through it ever step of the way.
Dr. Sherman was attentive to my dental needs. He ran diagnostics and was able to compete wisdom teeth extraction the same day. At every stage of the operation he was explaining what he and his assistant were doing. The follow up appointment was appreciated and rounded off a successful and stress free operation.
Rude and condescending, doesn’t care about his patients, only cares about $$$
Rude and impersonal, does not care about his patients!!!

Sweetheart of a guy . . . Very knowledgeable and excellent care. Highly recommend him.
Dr Sherman removed my wisdom teeth when I was in my 20s. No problems, no swelling, only a little pain in site area. It was great! Fast forward 20 years when my daughter was having a problem with her wisdom teeth I did not hesitate to bring her to Dr Sherman. He resolved her infected wisdom tooth issue too! I recommend him. second visit to him - he's excellent!
Dr. Sherman did a good job of removing ONE of my wisdom teeth. Even though I need all 4 removed. I returned months later in absolutely agony basically begging for him to remove the rest. He told me that one tooth was on a nerve and did not want to remove it. Then decided he would only remove that one tooth. When I explained to him I had gotten a second opinion from another surgeon (who’s office is unfortunetly hours away) about the tooth and he said it was able to be removed carefully with the rest he started becoming extremely condescending. He told me “Go to him then!”. I asked why he couldn’t remove more than one tooth at a time as I was in pain and didnt want to keep taking off work to recover tooth by tooth. I said everyone I knew had all their teeth removed at once. I was very polite about it. He gave me a horrible attitude told me “OH REALLY? Why don’t you go to someone else then?! Yeah. Go to them. Sorry for wasting your time. You can leave now” and stormed away leaving me in the chair with a bib on. I left in tears as I was in serious pain. I do not recommend this experience to anyone in pain and in need of help and basic human decency/empathy. Dr. Sherman did a good job of removing ONE of my wisdom teeth. My experience with Dr. Sherman was so horrible. I had to wait nearly two and a half months to get my wisdom teeth removed. According to him, the insurance company was not offering him "enough" money for each tooth. Stalling and, in effect, delaying the surgery is extremely unprofessional and unethical. As the patient, I had to repeatedly reach out to my two insurance companies so that they could give Dr. Sherman the documented confirmation that the surgery would be, indeed, covered at the cost he was charging. Throughout this entire process, he was extremely condescending and showed a complete lack of transparency and interest in actually doing his job: which is to provide a service to a client and treat them with respect and dignity. This doctor has a terrible condescending attitude. Told me to leave after asking questions. Patients come to an oral surgeon in pain and deserve basic empathy.

Excellent removal of my broken wisdom tooth. Easy to get an urgent appointment, very kind manner, and best of all - the extraction itself was very speedy, and remarkably less painful than others I've had in the past. Recovery was easy, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone else in the future.
