Never able to see Dr. The office staff was incompetent and lacked good customer service. Had Previous visit w another Dr in this office and was allowed to pay co-pay on my way out after services had been rendered. Next visit w Dr Selz, I Heard that wait times can be long so wanted to make my co-pay on my way out as I did the previous time. Did not want to have to get refund or hear the staff tell me why they couldn’t refund my co-pay if I decided to walk out after not being seen in a timely manner. Was told it was office policy and that they didn’t deviate from their policy after they had just confirmed the previous visit where policy had been changed. Even offered to leave my DL as assurance I would pay provided the service was good and timely. Patients should not have to deal w poor customer service then have to argue to get your co-pay refunded I refuse to pay for poor customer service and will not pay my co-pay up front. And most Dr offices don’t require a co-pay UNTIL services are rendered. I would not recommend this office to anyone until the Drs of this office teach their office staff to quit running off business and be more courteous

I went to Dr Selz for a septoplasty. He brushed off all of my questions and concerns leading up to the surgery. 2 weeks later, I took the bandage off to a misshapen bridge, a leaking right nostril for 6 months and the same breathing issues because he did not fix my septum. After my vocal concerns at the 2 week checkup he brushed me off again. Learning very late that I could ask for a refund, I went to him 1 year and 10 months after the surgery. He said I needed a septoplasty and didn’t believe he had given me the original one until he looked at his records. I asked for a refund and he laughed at me and said good luck. Also wanted to set me up with his plastic surgeon as it was the only way to “fix that”. Do not go to this predatory man. He wants money from vulnerable people. He made me feel humiliated, helpless, and experimented on, and will do the same to you while denying any wrongdoing. I’m sorry if this man has ruined your self image and/or health like he did to mine.

He was a great Dr removed my gallbladder in no time

Before surgery when i tried to ask questions about the mechanics of the septoplasty he rushed me on and told me it would be fine. He told me the surgery wouldn’t affect the appearance of my nose. 11 months later and it has lost its shape in the tip, nostrils, bridge, and it is wider now. I hate it. My nose also leaks every day and my septum is bent to one side again and I have the same breathing problems. I just want my old nose back.

Great doctor! He helped me with my sinus problems. It ended up that I needed a surgery and he did a great job and I'm so much better now.

Beware of the billing and payments requested upfront before surgery. I was requested to pay $998.00 before surgery to "meet my deductible". They did not apply that amount to my deductible, therefore my deductible was not met before surgery. They kept this money and applied it to other things, like office visits. 6 months later I am receiving hospital bills saying my deductible was not met and I owe more money, meanwhile Dr. Selz office still has money sitting on the books from our deductible payment that was never submitted. He has been amazing with my son. Explaining everything and staff is very nice. Highly recommended

Staff members are friendly, and the nurses are so kind and patient with my three year old son, who happens to have a bad fear of doctors. Dr Selz is quick and to the point and willing to answer any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend!

Great bedside manner, had a great experience all together! He did a septoplasy, and uvula-something or other, (cannot pronounce it!) Lol! Just had procedure done this morning 6/9/21, nise still bleeding a bit, and throat is a pain level off the chart, brings tears to my eyes swallow but, I have a very high tolerance for meds, hoping he can prescribe something stronger, the oral hydro liquid just is not helping at all..(I'm sure a patient with average tolerance, would get the full effect of the pain med with positive results), I strongly recommend him, as well.as the surgery center in Anna..above and beyond! Very friendly, and helpful staff! Had a absolutely great experience with both doctor, and facility!

I had a procedure to enlarge my nasal passages. I trust him. He is prompt , professional and a Doctor I would recommend to my family and friends.

I experience pain in my right ear, and it feels stopped up. Can't close my eyes in the shower without holding onto the wall. Did a hearing test and told me I need hearing aids and told me they are expensive. Guess I look like I couldn't afford them. But not sure how hearing aids will help my balance with my eyes closed. Was close to closing time he seemed ready to get on with something else. I'll find another opinion.

Wasted $300.00. Allergy test was a blood test, which are usually inaccurate. Didnt bother to ask or do skin tests. Then lost the test, or didn't complete it, but didn't bother calling me to cancel my appointment. So an extra appointment I should not have been billed. Then just HAPPENED to find it, so didnt repeat. The final visit and results were inconclusive. AND again a waste of money Didnt offer any conclusive or helpful remedy. Dr Selz is the ruddiest, most obnoxious doctor we have ever had to deal with, & the lady in the front lobby is no better! My husband is in a wheel chair and when we came in , I asked the lady to please push my husbands wheel chair for me. She quickly said" No I won't. I have a bad wrist and I don't wear my wrist guard because it irritates me". She turned and walked away . Ok....I got my husband into the doctors office. The Dr. came in. Never said "Hello" or introduced himself, never offered to shake hands. He asked my husband to get in the examining chair.(it has no arms on it) I explained to the Dr. that my husband is sort of shaky on his feet, so we may want to kind of help him. This Dr. said harshly "No! If he falls there is no one here to help him up...this is NOT a hospital!" In closing, my husband & I are both 85 and yet he stripped us of our dignity and pride. This doctor won't have to ever worry about us again!

He is one the the most caring Dr.s I've ever dealt with, hes up front he's even the one that called to check on my mother after surgery not a nurse.

I'm pretty picky and I liked him, he performed a day surgery on me. He did a good job and got straight to the point in my pre surgical appointment, good doctor.

My family has used Dr. Selz twice, for my son and daughter. I highly recommend him for any needs. Dr. Selz takes the time to make sure you understand what’s going on and what to expect during and after any procedures.

Easy scheduling and very friendly staff. There is usually a very short wait time. I haven’t spent more than 20 minutes waiting on my appointment. As soon as you’re back In a room you’re seen pretty quickly. There isn’t a lot of social chatter. He may make a comment or two, but he keeps it short to maximize all patient times. Quick, efficient, and trustworthy.

I would recommend him to my friends and family.

His front staff is absolutely the most disrespectful staff I've ever come across. Just rude and act so miserable. If you don't like your job find a new one and get some manners. We've been there a few times and each time the front desk staff was horrible.

Dr Selz is close to worthless. He didn't listen or seem to care about what I had to say! If your in pain with serious problems, don't waste your time going to see him

Doctor Peter Selz was not through in his care, When cancer was present. In hopes he will change his practice for future patients. He only removed a partial portion of the thyroid gland when known cancer was present!. After the surgery was told all looks good. However pathology reports cancer in the other half of the thyroid. Now Doctor Selz only wanted to watch and revisit in about 2 months. Not a a very wise decision! Immediately- Went to UT Southwestern their medical team was amazing. Another test and Another surgery needed quickly cancer also in lymph outside the thyroid area. The complete thyroid was not removed at first.. especially when it was positive for Cancer. Dr Selz practice is not to remove the whole thyroid. Not a good practice when cancer is known. As was informed by Utsouthwestern hospital endocrinology department. I wanted to add to my husbands review. I find it inexcusable for a Dr. to behave so unprofessionally. Let me tell you the work comment was complete bull . This Dr does not even know my husband as a person or patient. He rarely misses work for any reason. This Dr did not have my husbands medical history and would not listen to what processes we have already been through. He was insisting on test that we have already done. This guy has no right being a specialist. Patients see specialist when their GP has done all they can. Patients are typically worried and scared to see a specialist. To be treated with rude disrespectful dismissive unprofessional behavior is bull. Remember one day you will be a patient if some type too. I wanted to add to my husbands review. Rude with god complex..does not listen and interupts. I finally told him to stop, which made him mad, after 5 mins of trying to get him to hear me of my previous esophagus diagnosis. At end of appt..he would not even shake my hand and made a comment that still has me pissed. He stated" sorry, you will have to go back to work" . I have worked since i was 13 with near 30 years in my industry. Mr Selz, you are a prime example of what is wrong with our medical in this country.
