Dr Maurus is the best

Good answers to questions. Understands your concerns. Answers are vrief and not overly clinical. Instills cinfidence in me about my recovery.

Dr. Maurus has been awesome. I came into the clinic with a ruptured/detached achilies tendon… Due to me living out of town it took a couple of days to and fit me into his busy schedule, but I got in and he operated the next day. The after care has been easy and he is not about scheduling you in for a bunch of unnecessary return visits. All in all I feel I was provided with exceptional care, with easy to fallow post op instructions, and most importantly a successful surgery. I would recommend Dr. Maurus and the Steindler Clinic to anyone needing orthopedic care.

Quick, professional, clear, answered all my questions.

Smooth check in and appointment was right on time. Dr Maurus explained my upcoming procedure very good.

I was very pleased with the care and concern about my ankle. His ability to numb and inject at the same time was extremely coordinated. And therefor painless! He is an excellent practitioner with a positive attitude.

I’m very happy with the care I’ve received from Dr. Maurus. He explained the choices available in treating a foot problem that I have, answered my questions, and supported my choice of treatment. He is very skilled in providing my in-office treatment and takes his time to lessen any discomfort. He is very personable as well.

Quick and very professional.

I thought I was going to have to claim disability . . . and then Dr. Maurus made my ankle new again. His team is absolutely wonderful. Steindler Orthopedic is very efficient and they have the process down to a fine art. Why did I wait so long? Thanks Dr. Maurus.

Dr maurus listens and then discusses options. He's very understanding of his patients health related problems. We are fortunate to have him.

Dr Maurus is a very down to earth doctor who explains things so the patient understands. He’s very straight to the point and had GREAT bedside manners!! He knows his stuff and that’s important!! I would recommend Dr Maurus to anyone!!

I feel he did a very basic examination but did not seem open to questions or concerns! The amount of time he spent in the room was extremely short! I realize he has patients that have much more difficult conditions but felt like he didn’t take my issues very seriously!

Dr. Maurus is an artist and I have recommended him to several people.

Very personable, as he has done surgery on me before. Very professional, considerate.

I really like the steindler clinics. Everyone is friendly. You are checked in quickly and efficiently. Dr Maurus comes in for my treatment. He is always friendly and makes sure the treatment is right and working for his patient. His efficiency and caring attitude makes it easier.

I had a bad surgery and Dr Maurus fixed it we had to do a couple times but we fixed it as good as he could he’s wonderful I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Dr. Maurus is a very knowledgeable and professional man. He explains everything very well and will not leave you feeling like you have any questions left over. He is also a very kind man and easy to speak to. I highly recommend him for any type of foot specialty.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Maurus. He took the time to explain all my options and what he felt was best but did not pressure into any one decision. He was straight to the point and got me scheduled for surgery and over and done with quick. Highly recommend. Thanks Doc! Listened to my issues and pursued possible treatment. Really seemed concerned for my pain.

Went in with a foot problem and he was able to help me, that day, in the office. He answered a couple of questions I had and offered a couple of suggestions on some shoes/products that might help. I would recommend Dr. Maurus to others.

The staff and nurses and the doctor were the fastest and most efficient medical staff i have ever dealt with. They were polite, very knowledgeable, and quick to answer your questions.

My visit was quick and efficient. Dr. Maurus quickly diagnosed my issue and ensured I was aware of my options.

Dr Maurus took care of my foot and made it as painless as possible for the injection of steroids. He is friendly, kind and he knows his stuff!!!

Went very well, I loved the staff but need more education about what to expect after a steroid injection to the joint. Have terrible pain after the lidocaine wore off and wasn’t expecting that.

Yes he is easy to talk with and could provide his thinking about my condition in terms that I could understand. He provided me with options and suggested we start with the least invasive treatment to see the results.

This was my husband's first time at the clinic. He said it was a good experience! Very prompt. I called to get him an appointment, and he was able to be seen the next day.

I love when a doctor will come into the exam room and sit down and relax and take the time to listen to me as though he has the time for me. It makes me feel valued

Quick easy painless cortisone shot for tired ankles

Great bedside manner, reassuring and kind. I was very nervous to have surgery but helped me through the process. I was conscious during the surgery and the entire experience was actually a bit “fun.” I feel he is extremely competent and I am super happy! My girlfriend had bunion surgery in September by a provider in Cedar Rapids and did not have a pleasant experience or good outcome. I have recommended she contact Dr. Maurus at Steindler Clinic for her next bunion surgery.
