Awful! He mocked my concerns, in addition to being opinionated, rude and unfamiliar with current research (I am a psychologist). I was looking for a baseline report of baseline brain function because as a long-term survivor of extreme chemo, and symptoms I was experiencing. As I was leaving he said: "You just have to face you're getting old." I was 58. It is no surprise to me he has terrible reviews.

I was sent to Dr. Kaplan by my ophthalmologist for temporary blindness and I found Dr Kaplan to be honest, engaged, generous with his time and seemed to genuinely care. Doesn't sugar coat things which I like but I can understand that the easily offended might prefer a female Neuropsychologist.

I came close to cancelling my appt. after reading somebodies blog. I'm really glad I didn't. I can't imagine how anyone could have really had a bad experience with this guy. The appointment started right on time, his demeanor was 5 star for sure and his questions were perfect for eliciting meaningful, friendly dialogue. His co-worker, Kevin was good to work with and his office mgr., Johanna, was the best. 5 stars for sure. LeRoy

I found this Doctor to be both detached and unwilling to take the time to dig into the root of my issues. Rude, odd, opinionated guy who is not as engaged in one's treatment at all . Ran expensive tests then told me he doesn't think enough "effort" was put forth for accurate results as opposed to looking into why these tests showed such deficits in my ability to function. Talked about irrelevant, unhelpful topics... Save yourself from stress and time- find a Dr. who is more invested in your care

went with husband to discuss an issue he was having. dr kaplan did not have my husbands records, could not find them and when i showed him a copy of his report, he said he had no idea why he wrote that. i could have gone to dr. google for more answers than dr. kaplan! he trivialized the issue, and was very condescending and dismissive to me when i spoke.

Waste of my time and money. Rude, weird, opinionated guy who is after your money. Ran expensive tests then told me he doesn't like to diagnose. Failed to mention important information that was revealed through testing. Felt like he talked on and on just to fill up my time (read: I don't think he cares about his patients). Talked about irrelevant, unhelpful topics. Save yourself from stress- stay away from this doctor
