Mr. Peter Rex Honig

I went to office In January to get excused from jury duty February 2 ( due to health issues) I left form at front desk. Yesterday February 8th I received a notice in mail for issuing a warrant for my arrest. Keep calling office and just being put on hold.

Been my dr for over 20 years looking for new one. He is grear but his new staff horrible I am sick and my mom just had serious surgery and i called office for medication and was told no can't must come in office.i don''t want to make her sick so looking for new dr.

I went to Dr. Honig's practice twice for 2 annual physical appointments. They only take phone calls from 9am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri. It's pretty difficult to get a hold of them. The front desk receptionists are extremely rude and condescending. They also charge $1 if you use a card to pay for your co-pay and they don't bother telling you. They expect you to read the sign out of 20 other signs they post around the receptionist window. Regardless, it's common courtesy to inform patients when they arrive. I had to wait an average of 45 minutes. I saw Dr. Honig last year and I got a blood test done for environmental allergies. This year, I had to see the Nurse Practitioner because Dr. Peter Honig couldn't see me sooner as I needed a referral. She said she will do a full blood panel, including food allergies since I've already gotten the blood test for environmental allergies done the previous year. I called in to check on my results and was informed about my results for environmental allergies. I informed the receptionist that the Nurse Practitioner said she will test me for food allergies and that I already know of my environmental allergies due to last year's exam. The receptionist kept cutting me off and was extremely rude. She had a bad attitude and was really condescending the way she spoke to me. Due to the service here, I'm changing PCP's. I called for a appt today. Leah said she would wait extra time for me to get there when she was supposed to be leaving. Well when I got there she was still there. Im a new patient here. I have a appt with dr honig on the 2nd to discuss some things I was just diagnosed with and I want to see how he chooses to proceed. The front desk people were so nice to me and not rude in anyway. Whoever said that Leah isnt fit to treat patients is wrong. She took extra time with me and was so kind and nice. My parents have been going here for awhile and never occured any problems. I am a nurse and have been around many doctors and in my opinion Dr Honig and his office staff are the best I've come across. Exceptional bedside manner. Every staff member is pleasant, personable and very professional. I've seen Leah often recently and again very happy with her as well. She always takes her time and sees that all that I come in to discuss is taking care of. All my medical needs have been met in a timely manner. I originally began seeing Dr. Honig at Mirarchi chiropractor's office and switched Dr Honig to my primary care doctor. Couldn't be more happier with my decision. I am a new patient at this practice. I was recommended through a friend. I am sure glad she recommended this office. The staff is excellent and they seem to really care. Both Dr. Honig and the NP Leah are very nice. I feel like my concerns were all addressed and I felt very comfortable. I highly recommend this office. The enviroment is like a family atmosphere.

The nurse practitioner there, Leah is unfit to treat her patients. She let her vindictive personality and racist mindset jeopardize her medical decisions to properly treat a family member. And also do not be surprised if you have new charges on your bill.

Dr, Pete has been my family doctor for over 30 years and am thrilled with his practice. Can't see him personally much because need an appointment months in advance but still go to his office. Now I will only go if its something really important to see Dr. Pete himself.

I tried for TWO WEEKS to call to make my initial appointment. I even called Jefferson's helpline to see if they could help me set up an appointment. For 2 weeks all I got was the busy signal. Absolutely ridiculous way to run an office. I found someone else and they were easy to be seen by.

Got an appointment quickly with the practice's nurse practitioner. Slightly longer than average wait time. NP had good bedside manner. I had several tests done and here's where my experience soured.. I called several times to go over my results, never was able to get a live person on the phone and so I left messages. I have not been called back. I love Dr. Honig, the only problem is that I hardly ever can get an appointment with him. Every time I call his office I'm always schedule to see his Nurse Practioner, nothing against her I go to the doctor to see the Doctor, I too am in the medical feild, so I do understand he has a very busy practice, but somethings I would like to speak to my doctor about not his nurse.
