Dr. Peter R. Hinds

Went to the ER for a 1.1cm kidney stone. I guess dr.hinds spoke with me a couple times and "explained things" I was on heavy pain medicine because how much pain I was in. So I do not recall hardly anything we spoke about. He gave me NO discharge instructions on my paperwork so I called with a couple questions/concerns and he says "do you not remember what we talked about?" He has no bedside manners at all. This is my first time dealing with something like this so I'm not sure what to expect at all and scared. His attitude and carelessness does not help. Do not recommend him at all.

Great doctor and easy to talk to. He listens and cares about the patients needs.

I found him not to be very caring. Difficult to talk to. Would not listen. Has no compassion for patients. That makes for a bad experience when you have someone operating on you. To me compassion is everything when someone is in pain.

HORRIBLE is the only way to describe this doctor... best way to describe him since he didn't even enter the room and do a proper examination on me. Then proceeded to diagnoses me with a UTI. Immediately saw another urologist... he was WRONG!

The best urologist l ever met, he’s very polite, very nice guy. he’s the best.

Dr. Hinds needs a full-time nurse who can call you back after your surgical procedure and help you schedule your follow-up appointment. The girls that answer the phones at lrmc have no clue nor concern about your medical condition. There is no follow-up and getting help is impossible.

Dr. Hinds treats prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and other urological disorders/diseases.

Dr. Hinds is my Urology Oncologist at Hollis Cancer Center in Lakeland Florida. I have had a wonderful experience with him and his staff. I had to have my prostate removed, he has never made me feel rushed, has answered every question I have had but also asked my wife what questions she has and answered all of hers as well. The surgery went exactly how it was explained it would, the recovery was difficult but went as expected and the results have happened as Dr. Hinds said they would. My nurse Charity has been a God send, she text me throughout the initial recovery and has been there for me over the last year as my recovery continued. I would recommend Dr. Hinds to friends or family and the Hollis Cancer Center.

After procedures, Dr. Hinds nor his staff follows through with aftercare. After numerous calls trying to speak with his office, no luck and no follow up. Sent a fax.... nothing. My insurance tried to call.... nothing. If you want this type care. He is the one for you!

Prostate lesion with biopsy, super nice guy, very thorough, easy to talk to. Did a fabulous job with the prostate biopsy
