Doctor can’t even be on time.

Doctor seemed fine, even good. BUT he said he would send in my prescription to the pharmacy that day and never did. No biggie, until I called 4 TIMES in 2 weeks and no one ever called back and I never got my prescription! Front staff cold and impolite, terrible phone lines that are fuzzy. Visited a knee doctor here a few years ago and that doctor told me to do physical therapy but instead of prescribing PT he wrote YouTube on a piece of paper and told me that I could find exercises there... That could have SEVERELY hurt my knees. Turns out - shown by a knee doctor elsewhere who actually took x-rays - that I have no cartilage left on my kneecaps and I can't do any exercises that involve bending my knees. I hate Swedish Orthopedic Group.

Do yourself a favor and please do not waste you time and co pay $ to see this doctor. If I could give him no stars I would, because that's what he deserves. I never walked out of a doctor's office infuriated. After 1 visit where he said nothing is wrong, I came back less than 1 month later where thwre were VISIBLE signs something IS wrong and he said that "no, everything is fine, but I can look into it because is seems YOU THINK YOU HAVE A PROBLEM". So I guess this doctor really needs glasses because even Stevie Wonder could've seen that there is clearly an issue. He took 20 minutes to write detailed notes but in the end he gave a diagnosis that had absolutely nothing with what was visible and what I described. I'm not sure how he can be called a "specialist" when he looks at and issue and say that there is no issue??? I was referred to him by my Primary doctor who saw that there was an issue but she wasn't a specialist. So much for that title. A complete waste of time and now I have to look for another "specialist" for a 2nd opinion because I would not trust this doctor again. Not a good experience at all. Good luck if you decide to see him, maybe you'll get a different experience than me. Do yourself a favor and please do not waste you time and co pay $ to see this doctor. A very knowledgeable Foot Doctor who is treating my mid-foot injury. He takes time to listen, answer and explain his diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. I trust his experience and advice. Yes, we all have to wait for appointments and the waiting time in office can be longer than some might like. On the plus side you receive very good care. Swedish Hospital medical group orthopedics is a very busy practice. I am sure they triage appointments. With that said Dr. Chioros is available online and has asked me to call if I am having an immediate problem. I give him a 5 star rating. I first saw Dr Chioros when I broke my foot. He was very good at treating me.he is a very good Doctor. My review is a 2 because of my last few visits. I have waited an unusually long time to get an appointment,which was ok since my appointment was non emergent. When I came to my appointment on time I waited over an hour plus.. then waited additional time once I was in the treatment room. Dr C was very apologetic. . The same happened at my next appointment. I was not happy with that. My next appointment was for delivery of my orthotics. I came to my appointment and the receptionist said sorry "we found out over the weekend" your orthotics aren't here. So you'll have to reschedule. So now I'm a little angry. And said. I've had it with this practice.which I have and once I get my orthotics I will not return. wasted a lot of my time and parking fees. a phone call telling me that my orthotics weren't in would have been appropriate. I've been seeing Dr. Chioros intermittently as needed for almost 10 years. He actually remembers me and details of my life even when 3 years go by between visits. This underlines the fact that he really listens when you speak to him, never rushes you and gives excellent recommendations and care. He has treated my plantar fasciitis with great results and the entire procedure of making, fitting and insurance approval of getting orthotics went off without a hitch. His staff is also great.

Where to begin in my recommendation of Dr. Chioros, he is an excellent Dr., not to mention a compassionate, caring person. I have been to several Dr's & have had several surgeries that have done nothing other than cause further problems. Dr. Chiros is the only DR. that took the time to find the exact problem & explain in detail to me about treatment. I'm unable to find the words to thank him for all he has done for me, I will never see or recommend any other Dr. because I know he truly cares.
