Dr. Peter Edward Bressler

I was referred to Dr Bressler, but can’t even get through on the phone. I read a bunch of reviews of this happening with his office. Guess they still haven’t fixed that problem. I called at least 5 times over 2 hours. 3 times, someone answered and said miserably, “please hold” then never came back to the phone. I waited 20 mins each time. The other calls, I was pushed to VM

Don't you dare reschedule your appointments, they will drop you as a patient, even though they were the ones who initially rescheduled you. Their staff who take the calls are absolutely condescending and of no help. Ask to speak to a supervisor, and just get the run around.

I have been with Dr. Bressler since my thyroid was removed, he always gives me the time I need and converse about my health, I moved to Houston 3 years ago and I still come back to Dallas for the relationship I have with him, he is always attentive to what I say. We work together to have my best health. Very happy with him.

Dr Bressler is a wonderful doctor but I cannot get a hold of him. His Patient Portal does not work. Yesterday they finally gave me a number. Got the Portal and left a message. Cannot get Portal today. Absolutely cannot contact Dr Bressler. Called and Left at least 10 messages on Jessica's line since Thursday. Dr Demopulos is also not able to contact Dr Bressler.

Doctor Peter Bressler is fantastic and his diagnosis is really good. He listened to my concerns and explained me all the options.

Dr. Bressler was very knowledgeable and professional. Very detail explanations and made sue I understood everything 100%. Staff was courteous, friendly and professional.

DR.Bressler is amazing. I love that he personally gives you a call or messages you for the results and discussions. He is very knowledgeable. He helped me with the issue i have. He never rushes and spends the right time with his patients. He always listens and answers all my questions. I will keep seeing him.

I’m a new patient that wanted to see an endocrinologist. Read Dr Bressler’s reviews & thought he seemed to be a well-liked dr but people complained about the staff & being on hold too long. So i called anyway & found the complaints to be accurate! First i was on hold for only a min or less to get to the first person...she answered by directly putting me on hold....i was on hold appx 2-3 mins, then someone answered & i began speaking- but she immediately tried to stop me saying quickly “ok but i need to put you on hold a minute”.....then i was on hold for TEN minutes straight! ...then suddenly the music stopped & it began ringing....but nope- ringing stopped & it went back to hold music!!....then another 2 mins of music, but then suddenly it began ringing again, i was hopeful!, but...nope ringing stopped again with a hard click & the hold music resumed!!! So then by the time all this got to 13 mins i finally gave up & hung up! Maybe they are simply drastically overworked- but whatever the problem is, they need to fix it! Dr Bressler is great - IF you are lucky enough to be scheduled to see him. That rarely happens though. His phone support is trash. They put you on hold for 5 to 10 minutes, only to send you to voicemail. The option for setting an appointment seems to be the only one to get a person on the phone. All other options send you to voicemail. Today, for example, I called 9 times between 8am-4pm and was sent to voicemail all but once. The one time someone did answer, they immediately placed me on hold for about 5 minutes... only to send me to voicemail again. They never give me a bill or an option to pay after a visit. They wait almost a year before finally billing a large outstanding debt. They will not refill the most basic prescriptions (such as glucose sensors and tests strips) unless you go in every 3 months. In the early stages, going in often is important. However, after years of managing type 1 diabetes, every 3 months is overkill! Simply a way to milk you for more money - as if Diabetes isn't already expensive enough! I've been going to Dr Bresslers office for about 3 years. I've only been scheduled to see him about 3 times. Okay, maybe 4 times. However, I missed my last appointment. Haven't had another appointment set since the missed appointment. Now, they refuse to refill my prescription until I'm seen again. Being seen again can take anywhere from 1-to-3 months. Being able to closely monitor and control glucose levels with a sensor and insulin is a must for any type 1. Yet I have to risk serious health complications, or possibly death, because they want another damn doctor visit /fee before refilling my prescription. Look, Dr Bressler is wonderful to deal with (in person). However, you will almost never be seeing him. His staff is often (but not always) rude on the phone and when there are problems with prescriptions, they don't like to be bothered with it. In other words, they don't truly give a damn about you - beyond your pocket. My insurance wouldn't cover the insulin Dr Bressler prescribed me when I first started going to his office. They wanted $2400 /month just for insulin at the pharmacy as a result of this. In order to cover the insulin, my insurance asked Dr Bressler to please tell them why he wanted me taking that particular brand (novolog and toujeo). He flat out refused to respond to them. So I went months without... ended up in the hospital multiple times as a result and damn near died from severe ketoacidosis. In the end, my pharmacist saved my life by finding a program that allowed me to buy the $2400 worth of insulin for only $35 out of pocket. Dr. Bressler is amazing, however once you become an established patient, he never sees you. His assistants see you every 3 months and those ladies are condescending and insensitive. They have you see their nutritionist multiple times, when not requested or required. Getting the staff to answer the phone is near impossible. I've called 7 times in one day before and my call went to voicemail every single time! Not impressed and after a year of going, I'm looking for a new doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Bressler for several years. I am very comfortable with him, and appreciate his caring, compassion, and professionalism. He takes his time to explain things very well, answers all of my questions, and I trust his judgement. His office staff is respectful, and the office is comfortable. Questions or contacts via the "patient portal" are answered by him or Ms. Dillard no latter than the next business day. I highly recommend him.

During my wife's illness, he provided the best care she received from any doctor. He treated her as a person first and as an illness second. He was willing to help manage her care during the last few years of her life when other doctors would provide information but not try to put it all together. He is the best!

I saw Dr. Bressler for the first time yesterday. I really like him and feeling very comfortable with him as my doctor. Dr. Bressler takes the time to talk to you about your concerns. His office is run efficiently and professionally. I highly recommend Dr. Bressler.

Best doctor I have been to. He listened to me and did not interrupt. Very thorough, quick to apologize for being late. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

This was my second annual visit with Dr. Bressler and he and his nurse spent about 20 minutes total on my appointment. I was very impressed to be given that much time and care. He isn't covered by my current health plan, so I decided to go with private pay, based on the great experience I had last year. I'm happy to have found an endocrinologist I like, who is thorough, and doesn't treat the patient like a number.

Front office was extremely rude when I called to make my first appointment. But because he had great reviews online I decided to go visit him anyways, and he was an amazing doctor; very kind, very informative and took his time. I addressed the issue with his front office staff and he apologized genuinely and was sure to address it.

He takes PPO only. I had to leave bc we went on hmo and I danced around w other docs and realized Bressler was top notch compared to others. We ended up back on PPO BCBS and I'm happy to report we are back w him. To make an appointment, it's usually about a month unless you get lucky w a cancellation. But a month is normal. Front desk WILL NOT verify your insurance so be sure to call your insurance ahead and find out if they're IN NETWORK (otherwise you'd pay out of network costs $$$$)! Wait usually is about 15-30 mins not had bc many other docs take over an hour! Hope that helps! He takes PPO only. Wonderful Dr!

Dc Peter Bressler is an amazing doctor he saved my life.

Dr. Bressler is the absolute best. He knew what to say to not stress my crazy mind (I tend to send myself into a panic), he diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and hashimottos. He adjusted my prescription once and that was all it needed. I had been trying to conceive a baby and with his help I just got my positive pregnancy test!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bressler for many years. I could not have made it through the thyroid cancer process, diabetes, and beyond without him or his wonderful NP Julia. He is very thorough, full of knowledge and truly cares about each patient. He is very smart. He explains everything and they get back to you asap with questions, or messages. Truly blessed he is my doctor!

This doctor, although rated relatively well on this site, is not the answer. He seems to engage fine on the first appointment and seems to be knowledgeable. However, he and his support staff does not follow up. I have tried on 6 attempts to speak to someone about a refill on my prescriptions only to have every attempt ignored. I have left messages through the front office staff and on voicemail to the doctors nurse to no avail. Zero customer service or respect!

Found Dr. Bressler listens very well. I came out of the field of medicine and I think that I can evaluate physicians with the best of them. He is very thorough, takes your comments, evaluates them, and then makes a rational decision. Like him very much, plus his staff

I have been seeing Dr. Bressler for years and have found him to be a very knowledgeable and caring physician. I also see Julia Dilliard and she is very professional also. The whole front office staff is very friendly and patient oriented.

I was very disappointed in this office and the way this Dr. Handled a situation. I expected more from someone with his reputation. I would not recommend him even with his rating. I was fooled. I was able to find someone else as highly recommended but with much higher professionalism and decorum.

After 18 months of Testing by Merck Labs via Dr Bresslers office I attempted over a period of an additonal 6 months to schedule an Appointment was Impossible. I have Medicare? In addition I have had other doctors attempt to have my records sent to them for reference, I and other Doctors have had NO SUCCESS in receiving my Health Records.They treat you Great while you are in some Paid Program.
