2.3 stars? Now i know why!! Wish we would've searched reviews on this person before heading to the office blindly, Worst Dr. We have ever encountered! We were send here to get a correct diagnosis so our daughter could continue her ADHD medication and to get her evaluated to rule out autism, we thought they would do a brain scan they did none of that, First the Dr comes in asking why are there? We told him and handed him some papers he just sits there with an attitute breathing like he's having an asthma attack exhaling like he has lungs the size of a propane tank. Then he asks again why are we there and we told him again same thing! I mean We aren't at your office to PARTY sir we have the paper work everything pointing towards a visit to you. Then he asks us for our level of education how is that part of the visit? Is everybody suppose to have a PhD? I mean that would be nice but not likely for various circumstances. So they do no test or check her other than what looked like a DUI checkpoint test which they're probably going to charge the insurance a million bucks for!! Then the nurse tells my wife on the way out which at this point shes walking in front of me that the Dr said to not come back evere again? Why tell your nurse to tell us? why not tell me directly as a man buddy? Anyways this Drs menstrual cycle was of the charts absolutely no reason, needed this for my daughter's school and Dr's office which both know already what happened and we will not recommend this Dr to anybody.

Very rude for no reason, My daughter had episodes of epilepsy and he just started screaming at me that she was just fainting, and not letting me explain more of her symptoms.Screaming that what I expect, and I said that’s why we are here to get an answer from a doctor.

After reading some of the negative reviews about Dr. Lubens, I thought it would be important to write a positive one! My daughter has been suffering for over 8 weeks with what we had been told was Vertigo when in actuality she has a completely different syndrome going on which Dr. Lubens was able to diagnosis in one visit. Dr. Lubens was sensitive and displayed the utmost professional bed side manner, especially with my fragile 16 year old. He literally hung up on me during a zoom appointment He’s rude and doesn’t listen at all to what is going on with his patients.

Most horrible neurologist in the world, instead of helping my autistic son's sleep problems and headaches he recommends to put my 13 year old boy in a home because he thinks I can't control him.

About 20 years ago we brought our son to Dr. Lubens for a consultation. The only appointment that we could get was in the late afternoon which was normally my son's nap time. At the time our son was approximately 3 years old. Dr Lubens briefly evaluated him and concluded that he had autism. He told us that he would always be odd and peculiar and at best he may be a dishwasher in a restaurant. Needless to say we left completely destroyed and devastated. We enrolled our son in a special preschool in Buena Park in which he attended for two years. The teacher, Mrs. Flowers, was amazing. When he turned 5 we took him to another neurologist, Dr Fowler, and he told us that he did not have autism and it was more of a speech delay issue which completely went away by the time he was 6 years old. Dr Lubens was professional, thorough and patient. We never had to wait in the waiting room. He clearly explained treatment options and pros and cons. I would definitely recommend him.

horrible. he walked into the room and said my son was just lazy. this baby cant walk, talk or has no control of anything to help himself. and he tells me he is lazy. what going on with the Dr. Lubens. he didnt examine him. it was like he had someone else records in his hands. we went back and forth until my friend said we should leave. because it wasnt going anywhere. so sad.

Stormed out of room while examining my son. Very unprofessional.

My son had a difficult seizure disorder. This doctor analyzed the past records and ordered additional testing. He was able to control the seizures. We feel so safe in his hands.

My daughter loves seeing Dr Lubens. I am impressed by his knowledge and skill in dealing with young children. He has been patient and compassionate in helping us through a difficult illness. I had seen two previous doctors that were unable to help with her condition.
