Paymaneh Sabet

I have been a patient of Dr. Sabet for more than 2 years. I have experienced everything from partial foot amputation to stubborn wounds that required time to heal. In my opinion there isn't a better doctor in the world.

I had been having right foot and leg pain for the past 16months or so. I had seen at least 6 different doctors for my pain and decided to go to Dr. Sabet. She listened to my history, did a physical exam, and told me was that I was basically going to have chronic pain for the rest of my life, and referred me to the UCSD pain clinic (Castellanos was great). This kind of diagnoses is unacceptable to give a 25-year-old formerly extremely active individual. I was having pain walking, couldn't sleep through the night, and was trying to figure out if I qualified for disability due to the constant pain. This kind of response from a medical professional is insane to me. She didn't even try to address my issues, and gave the 'problem' to someone else. Luckily I went to Stanford Healthcare in the Bay (Dr. Stanek, Dr. Wilson, and Dr. David Eirin Oji), and they continued to run tests until they figured out I had sural neuropathy. While I will never fully be back to my 100% self, they improved my quality of life so much and actually cared for me as an individual. This kind of high quality care is not what I received from Dr. Sabet. I am so disappointed in my interaction with her, and would not suggest anyone to go to her unless you have a simple 'easy' to diagnose issue. One of my favorite doctors at UCSD. But her office closes at 4, not 5 as that website says. She is kind, patient and really smart!

Dr. Sabet and her team were super professional, courteous, and very helpful. Dr. Sabet is knowledgeable in her field and really takes her time to explain different treatment options for my foot care. I feel like she has my best interest at heart and can’t thank her enough. Thank you Dr. Sabet!

I had ankle pain after spraining my ankle. Went to Dr. Sabet at UCSD and she saw me and did and exam took X-rays. Went over everything with me and spent time explaining. She was very thorough, and explained in a way I would understand. The staff was great as well, everyone was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend Dr. Sabet and her team for your care at UCSD. She was not in a rush that’s what I liked about her she sits and explains slowly and I liked the way she took care of me I would recommend her to my family and friends.

First visit, I am very impressed. She explained everything, told me all of my options. She really listens and talks to you. I am very pleased with her recomendations.

Dr. Sabet clearly puts patients' needs first. She took care of me the way she'd take care of her own mother or sister. I am glad to was referred to her.

She is a great doctor and takes the time to listen to you and doesn't rush you through the appointment. She also explains things so that you understand it. Very thorough and friendly. She makes you feel comfortable.
