This man is absolutely awesome! He took his time explaining my orthopedic issue to me, seems highly intelligent & was not in a rush like other Drs.. He treated me better than my own family. Would highly recommend ????

Dr. Shupe is fantastic! He did a meniscus root repair on my knee and the whole process went very smoothly. Dr. Shupe is kind and patient and always took time to talk through any concerns I had. I appreciated the support over the months after the surgery and am doing great, I'm well on my way to returning to all of my pre-surgery activities and sports!

Dr. Shupe is a great Orthopedic Surgeon. He did my meniscus tear surgery in August 2021 at the Memorial City Hospital. Dr. Shupe did a great job, and his office provided all the medical equipment and multiple follow up visits to help me with a full recovery with full range of motion. Therapy at the UT Physicians Ironman Clinic with Elizabeth Knobles was excellent also! I would refer to friends. Thank you! Dr. Shupe is a great Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Shupe is an excellent doctor. He listens and answers all questions. He also takes time with his patients. I never mind waiting for him (if there is a wait) because he treats everyone with respect. So many doctors don’t remember their patients from one visit to the next, but this doctor does. Not only is he taking care of me, but I referred my great nephew to him when he hurt his ankle several years ago at a high school track meet. Dr. Shupe diagnosed the problem with his ankle, and he also diagnosed an issue inside his heel that we as a family didn’t even know about. Dr. Shupe performed surgery and now my great nephew is one of the high jumpers on Texas A&M’s track team and hasn’t had any issues whatsoever. I highly recommend Dr. Shupe. I give him 5 plus plus stars!

Dr.Shupe goes that extra mile for his patients. He does anything in his power to accommodate! Excellent doctor!! He listens, answers all and every question and is NOT intimidating like so many other doctors I've been to. He really cares about his patients. Wish there were more like him. My mom AND dad broke their hips and we could have not asked for a better surgeon. His staff is also very sensitive to his patients and will work with you under any circumstances. Do not hesitate to make an appt. with him!!

Dr. Shupe performed my shoulder surgery. He was always willing to listen, and welcomed my questions. I would go back to him if needed in a heartbeat.

Dr. Shupe was recommended to me by a fellow orthopedist. He has lived up to my expectations. He is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I am a 57 yr old with several previous athletic injuries/ surgeries to my credit. I started seeing Dr. Shupe because my knees weren't keeping up with my athletic lifestyle. He is always eager to help me find the best way to stay ACTIVE and keep doing the things I love. He also did a fantastic job repairing my young neighbor's knee after a soccer injury.

Dr. Shupe performed my knee surgery for a torn ACL -- His bedside manner is Amazing.. my post op appointments have been great in and out within an hour.. Physical therapist (Sean) is great also!

The most caring and wonderful surgeon my wife and I have dealt with. He treats you as a man being instead of a number. He takes his time explaining his route of treatment and why. He then explains the surgery step by step at your post op follow up app. It was a pleasure to be his patient. Give him a try! He is the best of the best!

I have multiple fractures due to falling. This was my first visit to see Dr. Paul Shupe for a foot fracture. He has a very calming personality and took lots of time going over the results of my x-ray and answered all of my many questions. Due to his training & surgical experience I would feel comfortable having him do surgery if necessary. I respect his professional opinion. Dr. Shupe was extrememly nice, professional and informative. He answered all of my questions directly and made me feel at ease with any concerns. I love that he didn’t push for surgery and instead recommended physical therapy, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. I will definitely go back to see Dr. Shupe if I have any knee issues in the future.

Dr Shupe cared for my daughter when she broke her arm in two places. He provided excellent care and hade a very calm, reassuring and attentive bedside manner. He was very patient with all of our questions and never made us feel rushed. He made sure my daughter felt included on all of her care and that her questions and fears were addressed too. If you are looking for a surgeon with both excellent technical skills and a caring and patient bedside manner than I would highly recommend Dr Shupe.

Dr. Shupe is an excellent doctor. He spent extra time explaining my shoulder condition to me. He was so gentle in moving my shoulder around as part of the exam. He was thorough and gave me several options for treatment instead of just jumping into surgery. His office was beautiful and my wait time was minimal. I have already recommended Dr. Shupe to several friends. I live close to the medical center but I would conintue to drive to Memorial to continue care with Dr. Shupe.
