The front desk ladies are amazing and always smiling and so nice every time.

He is a very condescending man, very arrogant, does not treat his staff well, his Facebook posts are inappropriate I would never take my children or grandchildren to him or his wife, the picture they portray and the way they actually are are 2 very different things

We just visited this office for the first time this week for well checks and vaccines. Wow! I've never had such a thorough well visit for my kids. Dr Melanie Lively took her time and was very detailed, kind, and helpful. I've been to other offices where we felt rushed and the Drs were in and out and hardly spent any time with us. Dr Lively really sat down with me and my kids to make sure she had the full picture of their diets, general health, and well being. This is a practice that truly cares about your kids. We had a pediatrician we loved back in St Louis and after a bad experience with one here in KC, I finally know that we found another Dr that we love and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Dr that actually cares. Dr Lively brings his own opinions and political biases into his work. While treating my child, I’ve seen Dr. Lively a few times and each times he has said something offensive and disrespectful about my husbands job or the trauma my kids were going through as a result. Further, he has pushed his opinions for not circumcising onto friends of mine. Dr. Lively values sharing his opinions of what he thinks patients should be doing in their lives over being empathetic. Dr. Lively should consider that his job is to heal and treat not judge, use his position to grandstand and alienate people who have different perspectives.

He’s been my doctor since I was 2 and is still treating me at 20

AWFUL! Did not check my child over, and we ended up in Urgent Care the next day, almost in the hospital. Doctor missed both the Flu and Strep because he did not check my child's throat or nose, and "guessed" it was nothing. Will not return. Stay away!
