Dr. Paul J Holman

I imagine he’s a wonderful doctor if you can actually get in to see him. I was turned away even though I was referred to him by a spine surgeon in the same hospital group.

I imagine Dr. Holman is a wonderful doctor, but I was turned away before even seeing him after being referred to him by a spine surgeon in same hospital network.

Dr. Holman is wonderful. I cannot say enough positive things about him. He performed a complicated and difficult fusion surgery on my neck. Other neurosurgeons recommended a MUCH more invasive/complex surgery- Dr. Holman was my 3rd opinion. He was spot on correct and his skills and expertise gave me a better life. I am forever grateful. Hopefully I won’t need it, but I’ll always go to Dr. Holman for spinal surgery. I would even travel if he were not practicing near me. He is brilliant and talented. Thank you, Dr. Holman!

I just had neck surgery. And I love Dr Holman. I drove from orange to Houston to have my surgery. If you have back or neck problems he’s definitely the dr you need on your side. And his staff was amazing. And the nurses in the hospital were so great. And they kept telling me what a great patient I was. But they were amazing. I was very impressed with Dr Holman and his office staff. I called and left a message to schedule and they got back to me in 2 hours to schedule. The front office staff coordinated immediately how to get all the information to the Dr. I was impressed with Dr Holman at my appointment, he had a definitive procedure in mind and explained everything in detail. Dr Holman read all the Information I had provided prior to coming in to see me! And I was seated in a timely manner. I was very impressed with Dr Holman and his office staff. Excellent surgeon. I did not expected that the surgery would give me instant relief. Thanks God I am walking. I don’t feel that much pain. Dr Holman’s staff at the office is excellent. Everyone at his office went out of their to make all my appointment coordinated accordingly so I don’t miss out anything. What an excellent surgeon. He gave us 100% attention and gave us the opportunity to ask all the necessary questions. He was not rushing us. He listened and explained us everything. Dr. Holman performed a nine level fusion surgery on my spine in 2016. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of in-depth spine treatment.

Dr. Holman did 7 fusions in my neck and I have Han no problems feel great. He is straight to the point tells you like it is. Remember when you go for surgery you want a doctor with Great Hands to do the job not one that sugar coats your problem. Thank You Dr.Paul Holman your the BEST????

Very hard controlling my anger when seeing my 85 year old mother in excruciating pain and can't get a call back or a script from the doctor. Staff has been hateful and not compassionate. Even an ER trip provided no relief.

I enjoyed watching and working with him. In the OR (2013-2015) very knowledgeable and straightforward. I also ended up being his patient because of his work. He found out why I was having issues with my lower back which was DDD.

Dr Paul Holman saved my life. I Developed infection into my bones and hardware in my back from having a “simple fusion” by another Dr. Dr. Holman performed 5 different spine surgeries on me to help me live. I highly recommend him and his complete staff.

He is awesome. He explained everything very clearly before and after. I felt completely comfortable with him and his staff. I am 5 years out from a triple procedure that took 7.5 hours of surgery. Therapy was not horrible; Full recovery took a while but then it always does. Bottom line I am so glad I found him and had this done.

I have had 2 back surgeries by Dr. Holman. He is a great diagnostician and amazing neurosurgeon. Both of my back surgeries totally relieved the pain in my back. I recommend him to anyone with back issues.

Dr Holman has put three fusions in my spine in the pass 11 years with complete success. I when to him each time with pain that was really bad. His staff and Dr Holman line everything up so i new what was going to happen and when. I wish i didn't have stenosis of the spine but i sure glad that i know Dr Holman and his staff. I am a lucky person with a bad spine. Thank you.

Dr. Holman is a very caring and professional doctor. I wish I could say the same about his support staff. Either they are too busy or they don't care. I had to put a good amount of time and effort to get things done with them. This does not portray Dr. Holman's professionalism.

Great surgeon.

He listens to me very patiently and offered different treatments, very easy-going and down to earth doctor. Surgery went well and didn't have any problem.

Dr. Holman did a great job on my back. I had three surgeries in two day. I had three back surgeries previous years back. I am 4 months out and feeling great not walking bent over anymore and no pain. Dr.Holman is a very caring and patient person that has time to sit and talk with you and find out your problems. He finds the exact problems and test before doing any surgery on you. I am very pleased. His staff is excellent!

Dr Holman performed lumbar surgery to fuse and performed other electives that we had discussed and my surgery lasted for more than 13 hours at Houston Methodist and I was inpatient for 3-5 days and I woke up feeling relief he communicates very well and I was in a bad car wreck and I had undergone previous Lumbar Fusion in Oklahoma four times Chris Columbus Bruner ChrisColumbus@Outlook.com

He operated on me 3 times in the last 4 months and the work was perfect. If you can even imagine the most severe case of Scoliosis, Kyphosis and Degenerative Disc Diseases, all rolled into one, that's what mine was. It looked kind of like a snake having convulsions. Now my body looks normal and I can look straight ahead instead of at the ground as I walk. His work is perfect. He operated on me 3 times in the last 4 months and the work was perfect. Dr. Holman was great! He preformed neck surgery on me few months back and did an excellent job however his two medical assistants he has working for him they aren't nurses they are MA's names are Sylvia and Sonia are horrible! They are rude and unprofessional! They will cut you off in mid sentence like they don't have time to listen to what you have to say nor do they care. Sylvia told me that she goes for days without seeing Dr. Holman so she couldn't help me relay message to him. Rude staff!!!

I had seen Dr. Holman while in the Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, due to being unable to walk, sit, stand, etc. due to horrendous lower back pain. He was one of the most caring physician I've encountered in 60 years. He made a special trip from the Katy office to see me in the Texas Medical Center at 9:00 PM. All said, he performed an extensive three-level fusion surgery that took over six hours. I have recommended Dr. Holman many times since then.

On May 5th, I had spine surgery, from the middle of my back, down to include my tailbone. Dr. Holman and his team did a wonderful job. I am without all the pain that took me to this point. I was back at work after 14 weeks of recuperation. He is up front with patients and told me it would be a full year until all is fused as it should be. I'm being careful, but lift what I am comfortable lifting. The pain was bad and he said, "you will hate me for awhile." Yes I did, BUT I am now very grateful that I did my research and found him at Methodist Hospital, Houston. I am 69 years old and have had Diabetes for 30 years.
