Went to see Dr. Baek today. I have a herniated disc in my lower back that is pressing on a nerve. It is causing me a lot of pain. Apparently Dr. Baek can't be bothered with a pinched nerve. He told me it is not that bad go back to pain management. Shots and exercise aren't going to fix a pinched nerve. Seventy four and suffering thanks for nothing.

Dr Baek has done multiple neck and back surgeries over a 10 year period. He and his staff is very courteous and has been upfront with me on all of my surgeries.

Dr. Baek was the neurosurgeon who did my back surgery last October. He did a great job and I appreciate his candidness and honesty when he described what I could expect from it and what the possible negatives would be. I highly recommend Dr. Paul Baek.

Dr. Beak did my neck surgery and he did a magnificent job. I hope some day he will be able to fix my back when the time comes. I will and have recommended him to everyone.

He could care less about my problem. When I see a doctor, I expect at least a little enthusiasm about being there. I don’t expect to be treated like I am wasting the doctor’s time. Comes in and asks if I want shots for the pain. No, I want to know what is causing the problem. Covering up symptoms instead of finding the cause is not why I go to a specialist. If you don’t know, say so.

I suffered a failed fusion that he ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to acknowledge under his care, resulting in another ruptured disc which he also refused to diagnose. Thankfully I sought care with another competent Neurologist in a neighboring city to get relief.... he says he corrects Dr Baek’s work often, which is unfortunate to hear.

If I could put zero stars I would! Receptionist on phone sounds like she is on drugs.. refuses to schedule a consultation with the doctor I chose until all other avenues are exhausted... So let's just let my husband's leg have permanent nerve damage because a receptionist refuses to schedule a consultation! What a wonderful group of doctors! NOT! They could care less about patients.. it's all about the almighty dollar. If I could put zero stars I would! Dr Baek is the best at back surgeries hands down. He is also great with patients.

Very disappointed. I have had severe back pain for years and years. He didn't do aanything for me. Pretty much said nothing is wrong. Had to have a MRI done for my cancer they noticed that I have a disk on disk and other issues with my lower back.
