Very good surgeon

Dr Apostolo is the absolute best. From the moment I entered his offices I knew I was finally in the right place to get the answers I needed. He literally wanted to do my hip replacement surgery the next day but my insurance put the kibosh on that. He and his staff have a calm and professional demeanor. My surgery was a success and I was back at work in 3 weeks, albeit on light duty. Both my legs are straightened and even as well!

I highly recommend Dr. Apostolo and his team for orthopedic issues. He was very thorough and provided an easy to understand diagnosis of the issues I had with my left hand which required surgery. Dr. Apostolo and his staff provided a very detailed and accurate description of what to expect pre and post op. They described the precise steps I needed to take to conduct pain management immediately following surgery as well as what I needed to do to ensure a full recovery of range of motion during the healing process. Dr. Apostolo's staff is pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating to my questions and concerns. I was very fortunate to have been referred to his office.

I spent almost 1 and a half hours before I was seen for a regular doctor's visit To me that was to much.

I could tell from the content of his intake form that I made an excellent choice. After visiting 2 other Ortho's for trigger finger surgery and them wanting to only treat it with injections for a year before even consider surgery. I called around other offices to ask docs if they would Forego injections and just fix it. Every front desk person said I would have to schedule an appointment to ask the doc-"if nothing disqualifying me from surgery would they forego injection treatment and just fix it". A friend referred me to Dr Apostolo, and he returned my call! He said - Yes, come in and if surgery will be a good option, he'll do it in the office! No operating room, no second, third appointments - and no knife!. He apparently is one of a couple Docs in the world that have the skillset to perform a certain procedure to release the tendon without cutting me open. I was able to have a functioning hand within 45 minutes after walking into his office! Procedure took 10-15 min. I could tell from the content of his intake form that I made an excellent choice. Had hand surgery and was told it may take two years for me hands to feel better. Two years later I am in pain and looking for an orthopedic surgeon.

several years ago my GP referred me to any Ortho. as I had knee pain and it was warm to the touch. Dr. Apostolo had time to see me, short notice, drained it, filled it and it has been fine for several years. Very very pleased, still golfing 2x weekly, I'm over 70.

My husband and me got Carpal Tunnel Surgery by Dr Paul Apostolo. He is a great and professional doctor. And his staffs are very nice and friendly!

We've been using Dr. Apostolo for over 15 years. He's been accurate with all of our issues from ganglian cysts to broken thumb to tendonitis. There last required surgery. I broke my right wrist (i'm right-handed) in 3 places. Went to the ER at Northwest. At 8:30 a.m. Dr. Apostolo's office called & got me into the office that same morning. Dr. Apostolo showed me my e-rays & gave me 3 options for treatment. I chose surgery. He put me in a temporary cast & scheduled surgery that week. Surgery was a success. Dr. Apostolo was/is amazing, including his office and surgical staff. I have full range of motion & use of my hand. I couldn't be happier or ask for anything more!

I recently had both of my shoulders replaced by Dr A. (first one 9/14/2020 and second 10/29/2020.) Today 1/5/2021, I resumed my passion for golf and played with 2 new shoulders, pain free and with excellent range of motion. I have been very pleased with my results and my experience with Dr A and his office staff.

I have been his patient for well over 20 years now. No other doctor has ever spent that much time with me. Yes, you have to wait, and wait sometimes, but that seems a small price for his devotion and passion to his craft and patients. I’ve had multiple surgeries, shots, etc. I now drive 2 hours to see him. I have complete faith in his ability and his team go over and above to make the experience as painless as possible. Dr Apostolo caught a broken hand the radiologist missed. Made me a removable half cast, very pleased. Staff was AAA+++, Dr was AAA+++. NO complaints what so ever. Would send my daughters to Dr Apostolo should the need arise.

Dr. Apostolo did not put me through the PT/Shots/Xray/MRI/Braces routine to milk my insurance the way 3 other Dr's have. He is the only Dr I saw that treated me with respect! Was impressed that I had gotten through with no pain medication or a handicap tag and made eye contact and promised me that he would not let me suffer any longer! They immediately scheduled my surgery and gave me paperwork for a handicap tag! Which I have needed at least 3 years! Ive been to many doctors offices over the years and Dr. Apostolo is by far the best experience ive ever had. He takes your whole situation into account by viewing the problem with a much broader and healthier view from a medical standpoint and then from there, gives sound medical advice based on your situation. Dr Apostolo saved a pianist's thumb! I had my thumb terribly injured while playing field hockey. The thumb was dislocated, torn tendons, and broken. Emergency surgery was conducted out of state where the injury occurred and Dr Apostolo took over from there. I can't say enough positive things about his care. I am rating his care - the wait in the office wasn't ideal so appointment staggering gets 3 stars, but the care was fantastic. Greatly respectful, educational and willing to work with you for your goals. When other physicians in the state would not see me Dr Apostolo did and I am glad the right expert was on my team. Dr. Apostolo is an excellent surgeon. I had been suffering with pain for years. He took the time to actually fine out that I had a rare condition. He performed the surgery and I have been pain free in that hand for three years. He and his staff have always been accommodating even though I get very afraid of any type of medical procedure. Wouldn’t go to anyone else. Yes, sometimes the wait is more than 30 minutes but when I am seen he gives me his undivided attention, answers all my questions and I only trust him when surgery is required. If you have a follow up visit the day after surgery you are seen almost immediately. I am more than willing to let a surgical patient go ahead of me. I am also just as happy to be seen first after surgery and then go home to recuperate.

Dr. Apostolic has done a total of 18 surgeries on me! He is absolutely the best!!!

Worst experience I have ever had with a physician. Blatany rude and arrogant. Absolutely no bedside manner.

I had a great consultation and office visit experience on June 8, 2018. I found Dr. Apostolo funny, warm and very competent. I am a nurse and read the negative reviews and did not let that effect my choice to see him. He performed an in-office procedure that allowed me to avoid a more complicated, costly and riskier operation to release a trigger finger. He has been practicing for nearly 30 years, he operated on both my parents and hair stylist, all of them had great outcomes. His appointments tend to run late so I came prepared to wait. I see another specialist that always runs late and I put up with it to have an experienced, skilled practitioner. He didnt focus on my hand he worried about the cable man that was there what does he need cable for anyway its a doctor offfice and its not like he has a tv in the lobby he also doesnt have time to watch tv so why does he need cable for his office

Dr. Paul seems to have to much going on to take time for his patients. while he was talking to me he kept messing with his phone...ya know like a teenager when your trying to talk!! then he called his technical support on how to fix his new X-ray machine.....this was MY APPOINTMENT! then when he did talk to me he was very abrupt with me and told me to stop babbling! after waiting for a hour in the waiting room, then sit in the room for 10mins he treats me like that...it took a month to get a appointment then he gave me a shot of Novacaine then told me I need to see a Spine Surgeon....NOT GOING BACK EVER!! Excellent job of replacing wrecked right shoulder parts. Called a reverse--socket and ball. Healing is progressing nicely. Xray results great. I would recommend Dr. A to a family member. Highest level of confidence.

Worst physician office experience that I ever had. Followed up with this physician after a right ankle fracture. The front desk still had documented that I had a fractured fibula even though I corrected them during my first office visit. The receptionists were very loud in the waiting room. Even though I made my appointment weeks in advance, I had a two hour wait. I waited again for about thirty minutes in the doctor's office to see Dr. Apostolo. He rushed through my visit. He could not give me definitive answers as to why I am still in pain. He was very abrupt and uncaring. He was walking out the door as I was still talking. Please do not see this doctor! Seems to be an okay doctor (once you finally see him), but his office is a disaster. Consistent waits of 3+ hours during each of my three visits. Once you finally see him, he often seems half asleep and struggles to give actionable information. He is also understaffed. I now have an appointment with another specialists for a second opinion, and his staff seem incapable of making copies of charts and X-rays. I consistently hear his staff say things like: "everyone is on vacation, and only 1-person knows how to make copies, email records, etc." Seeing him has been frustrating, and getting my own records to move on to another doctor has been maddening. Great doctor but a patient must expect an hour wait or more to be seen after scheduled appointment time. Recommend they work on their scheduling because patients have to leave work to come in and sometimes need to return. This us my third visit and I haven't been checked in yet and have been sitting for almost an hour.

Dr Apostolo and his staff are the best. I'm normally in pain when I go there and they make me feel comfortable from scheduling the appointment to my leaving the office. Dr. Apostolo is an excellent doctor who shoots straight from the hip. You have appreciate that kind of honesty. He's quick and direct. I highly recommend Dr. Apostolo.
