Made an appt looking for a new PCP in January, was able to get in and see Dr. Sciara, we discussed arthritis and BP medicine needed to change due to no longer being effective. Dr changed my medicine and ordered blood tests. Dr and or the office never followed up to see how I was doing on new medicine and still have no idea of what the lab results are. because again his office did not follow up. I called and left a message curious about my results and to let him know the new BP medicine was not working never got a callback. Flash forward to today 3 months later I had my follow-up and I was told he wasn't in the office today and I should have gone to his other location for my appt. Why would I switch locations from the one I established with?? Now I get to go find another new PCP and start this process all over again meanwhile my health suffers and the expense of this. Hopefully, this review will red flag any other potential patient from this practice.

The doctor wouldn't see me for my regular scheduled appointment and the front dest lady asked to wait in my car for his call but the doctor never called me. No explanation given perhaps the doctor was scared of contracting Covid. I went to fill prescriptions and my pharmacy called the doctor's office for authorization but he has not return their calls. That's an unprofessional behaviour and puzzling.

PHYSICIAN: Dr. Patrick Sciara, MD is, I am happy to state, my new primary care physician. Recently, I had my second appointment with him. Yes, second. I never write a review of any practice or business after one experience. My second meeting with Dr. Sciara was as professional as my first. Both were 5-star experiences! I talk more than necessary, but never felt rushed to finish any sentence or detail. It was clear that Dr. Sciara listens well; he is attentive and obviously caring. My questions were answered clearly and in sufficient detail, always without evasion. In short, I would not hesitate to act on his advice. STAFF: Both appointments were on time and staff I met were courteous and professional.

Dr. Sciara and his staff are excellent. He was the first provider to diagnose my spouse with cancer. Not only did he get us to the right specialist but made sure we got what we needed every step of the way. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sciara is amazing! The first doctor I have seen in years that actually took the time to help me. He is knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I refer all my friends to him and everyone loves him!

Dr. Sciara takes the time to make sure I have all the information I want.

I have been with HonorHealth Anthem and have had 3 doctors in 4 years...constant turnover! Dr Sciara went thru my history in my first visit and spent ample time with me. I am a 71 year old type 1 diabetic and in my first visit we adjusted insulin and it seems to be working better lower test results

Always follows up and easy to reach by phone or email. Very easy to talk to and you don’t feel like your being rushed. Takes time to answer all questions and concerns.

Dr. Sciara always follows up with you and he’s easy to reach via email or phone. You don’t feel like your being ruched. Answers questions and concerns and never leave feeling confused or worried. He genuinely cares.

I have very good care with Dr Sciara. Takes his time and listens. I like his computer portal for updates on my condition. If you live in the Anthem area give him a try

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am so thankful I found Dr. Sciara and Diane, they are the best.

Suddenly refused to stop prescribing a very important medication without warning. Called office over and over and over for 3 weeks with no reply. I suffered unbearable side effects of going off medication that were life - threatening until I could get in to see another Dr. to get medication. Sent an email through the online portal saying his care was unacceptable and worthy of malpractice on Saturday, 12/10/16. Received an email just now, Monday, 12/12/16 that he deleted my portal account.

Does not follow up after office visits or blood tests. They just send you to the portal that I can't even find. Have had many billing errors and difficult to get in touch will billing dept.
