I didn’t catch everyone’s name at the front desk but they were all wonderful, quick efficient and friendly! Ashley made me feel so comfortable my first visit and rocks at her job. Dr.Felton was AWESOME. I have been dealing with foot issues for the past 8 years and I’ve never met anyone until him that made me excited about my recovery. I left there crying tears of joy, finally have light at the end of the tunnel and am so thankful that Dr.Felton and his staff were referred to me. Thank you for explaining everything, seeing me on time, making this long road easy. Can’t wait to go back (who says that? ????) I did today! Dr. Felton is wonderful. I took my 13 year old son to see him for an ingrown toenail. Dr. Felton explained step by step what he was doing, answered all questions with no problems and really put my son at ease. Even my son said he was cool and he liked him so if a 13 year old says it’s true you know it’s real. I would highly recommend Dr. Felton to anyone.

The man never stopped talking long enough for me to even explain my situation. He kept telling me he was a runner and I needed to take care of my feet etc. I don’t care. He also said he was published. Again, I don’t care. His Assistanr was nodding out and I know what an addict looks like and she clearly is. It was dirty and smelled. Do not waste your money or your time. It was such a joke and I have great insurance and I still got a bill. The man never stopped talking long enough for me to even explain my situation. Dr Felton surgically altered an ingrown toe nail on great toe. I still have a nail and it doesn’t look much different from opposite foot! He recommended OTC orthotics that I adjusted to very easily. He is professional, knolegeable, high energy, and a good listener. Also adept in patient education.

My son had an appointment with Dr. Felton for an ingrown toenail today. The procedure was quick, painless and done with care. Dr. Felton was very knowledgeable, friendly, experienced and also very to the point but in terms a patient will understand. Definitely more than satisfied with the level of care received.

I’ve never left any kind of review before, but after the experience I recently had with Dr. Patrick Felton, I feel it would be irresponsible if I didn't. Just for some context, I've seen Dr. Felton 3 times prior to my most recent visit. Once when he was with Johns Hopkins, and twice since he joined Podiatry Associates at Franklin Square. After Dr. Felton walked into my exam room, I mentioned that "I wasn't a happy camper" due to an insurance-related delay regarding custom-made orthotics. I realize this had nothing to do with him, but rather his office staff (and they're all very nice). But I wanted him to know. He didn't give me a chance to explain. After I made the above statement, he turned beet red and started yelling, pointing his finger at me. He was absolutely irate. He was yelling so much, and with such force, his face mask actually started slipping off. Keep in mind that this is a doctor that I followed from Johns Hopkins. I have always found him to be a very good podiatrist, but he clearly has an anger issue. And, frankly, it’s a safety issue. That’s why I opened the door when he was shouting at me. I was worried for my safety. I actually reached for my phone - I told him I was going to start taping him - because I thought I might need evidence of the encounter. I tried engaging in some kind of productive conversation, but wouldn't let me say anything else. He threw the orthotics at me (threw them!) and yelled down the hall that "She won't be coming in for a follow up!" I was shellshocked. So was his front desk staff. A very nice assistant trimmed my orthotics so they would fit correctly. That was something Dr. Felton was supposed to do, but he was too mad to do this job. Hopefully she did it correctly because custom-made orthotics aren’t cheap. His office manager told me Dr. Felton “must have been having a bad day.” But that’s just not an excuse for his behavior. There’s no excuse for it. I’ll be filing a complaint against him today with the state. I honestly don’t have the time to pursue this, but I’m doing so not only on behalf of future patients, but his staff as well. Because if he treats me – a level-headed person that’s always been friendly not only to Dr. Felton, but to his staff as well – like this, how on earth does he treat his employees? I don’t want them silently suffering. And I don’t want any other patient to experience what I did. This is a man that shouldn’t be working with the public, let alone vulnerable people that are in pain, desperate for relief. If you're reading this review, please take it to heart and find a different podiatrist. Dr. Felton may be a good podiatrist, but he has an anger problem that needs to be addressed. There are many talented and kind podiatrists in the Baltimore area. Please seek one of these instead, for your peace of mind and your safety.

Please avoid Dr. Felton and find a different podiatrist. While he seems competent, he has anger management issues that need to be addressed.

Dr. Felton performed a P.N.A (Ingrown Toenail Surgery) on my right toe which was TERRIBLE, I felt some pain while he was doing the procedure which is ludicrous. After the procedure, a pyogenic granuloma appeared and he told me "This is because you're young and healthy". He lied, I didn't have a granuloma before the surgery. As you might think, yes, he botched the surgery. The pyogenic granuloma was caused by HIS bad cutting on the nail which agitated my skin from beneath (which caused inflammation). He tried applying silver nitrate on the 2nd visit but that didn't work. I visited him a total of four times before I decided enough was enough and my toe wasn't feeling better. I went to another podiatrist, he fixed the toe Dr. Felton messed up, and he did a beautiful job on the other three P.N.As! Dr. Felton lied to me, had me coming back again and again, and didn't solve anything. Every visit an assistant came in, they asked "Is this your two week follow-up?" As I'm on week EIGHT! 0/5.
