It’s has been a much needed, eye opening experience working with Dr. Dixon these last few years. I see so much improvement in myself.

Dr Dixon is great - she really listens to what I say, gives feedback and suggestions and is conveniently located in the Regatta Point Marina Arcade.

This is my first experience with therapy, and it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I was so insecure when I first started therapy, but Dr. Dixon has helped me see myself in a different way.

I have used Dr. Dixon as needed, during major life issues (primarily, relationships) for nearly 10 years now. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and I always leave a session with her feeling it was helpful and worth my time. I have experienced other Psychologists (due to moving throughout the years) who do a lot of note taking, "Mmm-hmming", & head nodding during a session which I look at as a giant waste of my time. I have left those few sessions feeling upset over the lack of help I felt I received. Dr. Dixon listens, asks questions, brings up past situations from your life -- really makes you think about how you've grown, better learned to deal with anxiety/stress, and meeting with her can be like having an insightful conversation with an old friend. I am thankful for how she's helped me over the years and when I find myself in a stressful situation, I often think back to the knowledge/advice she's given me and should I feel that is not enough, I am quick to schedule an appointment with her to talk things out in person. She's always accommodating, scheduling phone or video consults at times. If you're looking for someone who can actually help you with what you're going through rather than simply "listening" and allowing you to vent, give her a call. I've had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Dixon regarding several issues. I've always felt calm and at ease. She was incredibly kind, non-judgmental, and easy to share things with!. I've seen growth within myself, even in a short period of time. I look forward to speaking with her again!

Dr. Dixon was very caring. She challenged me at times to deal with difficult things from my past, but overall therapy helped me work through some of the things I have held onto for a long time. Dr. Dixion has helped me through a lot over the past two years. She has helped guide me along as I have found myself and overcome major obstacles in my life. She is very open minded and is even willing to do phone appointments if needed. I highly recommend her if you are needing someone to talk to that will listen and be a guiding light. Dr. Dixon is an awesome doctor with christian values and that's very important to me. She not only listens, she gives good particle and constructive feedback, she shows you your mirror. I would recommend her and will continue to see her when needed. I've been her patient for over 4 years.

I have been seeing Dr. Patricia Dixon for almost 2 years now, and she is probably one of the best psychologists I’ve ever and will ever work with. She has helped me feel more comfortable verbalizing my emotions, and certainly helped me stake out the path I wish to take in life. Fair warning, she is very honest with her patients; she won’t treat you like you’re fragile. Half the fun her is the banter. The atmosphere of the office is very mild but stylish, and comfortable to be around. I would give Dr. Dixon serious consideration if you are looking for a fantastic Psychologist. Late for most appointments. Would sit with her phone next to her, repeatedly checking her phone during our “sessions.” Dr. Dixon was nobody working in her office and was poor about returning phone calls, most messages were left unanswered. Testing I had her office was performed by one of her students at a local college and was returned to me full of errors. I would have been embarrassed, if I was in her position, to make those errors and return the report to someone. Even through I returned the report to Dr. Dixon and pointed out the embarrassing errors, like the date of testing and the name were not even correct, the testing was never actually corrected and returned to me. If you need and are actually seeking assistance with stressors in your life I suggest you look somewhere else. Late for most appointments. Educated, Intelligent therapist but business practices are borderline. Showed up late for 2 of 4 appointments (middle of the day). No office/secretary/phone-number. Left 4 messages with phone-service over 2 months to make appointment without response – requires patients to disable their spam protection so she can call from her personal cell blocking her caller-ID. I believe she may have been able to help us if she were more professional. Educated, Intelligent therapist but business practices are borderline. Horrible. I have called three times to set an appointment with no response.

Dr. Dixon is comfortable and caring yet displays the limits I need to keep me focused. I was amazed when Dr. Dixon said she knew me and gave examples that I thought I hid from her. Dr. Dixon has given me several tools to help me keep myself on track and to understand the limits of my mental health issues. I would recommend Dr. Dixon to anyone needing a caring and professional Therapist.

Dr. Dixon is a GREAT listener. I feel completely comfortable opening up to her.

Professional, knowledgeable and caring. Highly recommended. Has made a huge positive impact on our family.
