Dr. Pablo Concepcion

I witnessed very good cooperation between staff. I immediately relaxed knowing I was in good hands here. Dr. Concepcion did everything he could think of to help my severe back pain. A compassionate doctor (which is very hard to find in pain management).

So far, I have had a wonderful experience with treatment provided by D. Concepcion. He has provided me with a number of options to treat my situation. Since I am very limited on the oral medications I can take, I want to explore those options with him before I consider surgery. Thank you Dr. Conception!

21 Jan 19 I received a statement from my insurance company stating I could file an appeal for a prescription that Dr. Concepcion had prescribed. 8 Feb 19 I gave Dr. C. the form and he said he'd take care of it that very day. Boy was I lied to. On 8 Feb 19 Brooke did call my insurance company but she requested a Prior Authorization Request and before the company could process it she WITHDREW the request. 11 Mar I saw Pavel, explained my problem, he said he'd take care it. 8 Apr I seen Lucresia, she wasn't even interested in hearing about my problem, on 10 May I saw Pavel again, his solution was I go to a Base pharmacy, he said all his other military patients use the Base pharmacy. On 13 May I went to the Base pharmacy they DON'T carry either of the meds he prescribed and neither does the Base pharmacy on Eglin. I'm done, I'm tired of being lied to and just pushed aside. I've never in my 60 yrs been treated so poorly.

If you have a pain problem, do yourself a favor and DON'T go see Dr. Concepcion in Pensacola. He's only interested in ordering unnecessary, costly procedures that line his pockets with money but only bring the patient more misery. He's from the Dominican Republic and I don't think he understands English very well. He's not very caring, but somewhat arrogant and domineering. Neither I, nor my husband, cared for him. Just wanted to pass on my word of warning to everyone....

Because of my negative experience I had, I urge you to please reconsider seeing Dr. Concepcion. I've never written a review of a doctor before, but I had to in order to warn others. I found him to be cold, uncaring, egotistical, know-it-all, argumentative, all about money and generally one of the worst bedside manners I've ever seen in a Pensacola doctor. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID & try and see him. You'll regret it I promise.

Do not go here. I have never written a review on someone but they are so horrible people need to know. The office staff is horrible. Never return my phone calls. I’ve been trying to get a preauthorization for five months for my pain medication, I’ve had my insurance and pharmacy send them paperwork. When I let them know this is an issue they say we know we get complaints all the time. An office visit is two minutes and then you can finally get your monthly meds.

0 stars. Pay close attention to your bills. They get it wrong 50% of the time! If you must use Express Scripps as part of your insurance do not leave the office without seeing proof that they have faxed the prescription. I watched Concepcion make a nurse cry once. His mean spirit is sickening. Epidural = severe photophobia when done by Concepcion. Go elsewhere if you can.
