It has been since 1997 that I wish I would have left a comment for Dr. Paz. Technology was not there uet. This doctor saved my life after being a victim of violence attributed to the many life traumas I was experiencing. I hope to some day reconnect with him to give the thanks in person. My second chance in life has led me to a career in the Probation field to help those who come into our system receive a second chance or be diverted from our system and not come into it at all. I could literally write a book about my story which I have started and many times but never follow through to finish. Maybe some day. In short. Gracias Dr. Paz for giving me a second chance at life which has giving me so many blessings.

Doctor Paz and his staff were wonderful to me and my 12 year daughter when she had to heal the top of her hand, they all were so caring and compassionate towards us.

He is a very professional Dr. he sat down and asked me how can he help me. I told him what was going on with this prolonged wound of mine and how its so irritating that it has not healed. Dr Paz made me feel better by explaining to me why this wound may not be healing. It took some time and he tried different kinds of treatments and it finally healed. I wish there were more providers like Dr. Paz although he has a busy schedule he still made time to explain everything to me.

I was a patient at Desert Regional medial center and cane in with a traumatic injury. Dr. Paz had a reall bad beside manner and to be honest was flat out rude. I try not to say anything mean but I feel like I have to be honest. Medically speaking he seemed to be smart enough but I felt like his practice style was out of date. The nurses even told me that they receive a lot of complaints about his personality and bedside manner and that he is hard to work with. Dr. Paz misdiagnosed me several times and finally had to have another younger doctor take over the case who figured out what was going on and was able to help me. I also heard that his surgeries are all open and that he doesn’t do any robotic or minimally invasive procedures.

I had a very severe case of osteomyelitis, so severe there seems to be no cure for it. So the only option was to remove my sternum, then sever the stomach muscles to create a flap the cover where the sternum had been to protect the heart. I am still in recovery, as it’s only been less than a month & doctor Paz makes you feel as though you’re being cared for by an old fashioned, caring country doctor, with the high tech skills of modern medicine & surgery. He & his entire staff make u feel as though you are priority number one. A patient in need couldn’t be in better skilled & caring hands William (Billy) of Palm Springs

Dr. Paz may be an excellent teaching Dr. or diagnostician but he lacks bedside people skills. Does not speak to the trauma family walks in and out. Speaks in the hallways inapproiately with his personal opinion where the family can hear "got what he deserves" . We fired him from the case.

I had appendicitis - I did not have the pain I have heard about people having but I did feel very tired; the appendix may have ruptured 24 to 48 hours earlier so that when the surgery was performed, they found a big mess . . . thus, an incision that normally can be made without leaving much of a scar was not possible and my scar is 6 inches. You know what? Whenever I happen to see that, it reminds me to thank dear God for the care of Dr. Paz and his wonderful team who took such good care of me

My experience with Dr. Paz was exceptional. It's rare to find a physician now a days that reads your chart, is able to answer all your questions and spends more than 3 minutes in the room with you. I wish there was more physicians like Dr. Paz in healthcare.
