I was not a fan. Dr. Fakunle was insulting and rejected any alternate suggestion that I offered. I was having difficulty losing weight. When I told her that I had been keeping record of my dietary intake she scoffed and said "you people" eat terribly. What an elitist and racist remark for a dr to tell a patient.

refuses to work with primary Dr makes referals when told not to 4 hrs round trip for client and take over 3 weeks to discuss test results

She’s my doctor, but I rarely get to talk with her directly. Often, I am pawned off to an APRN.

Dr Fakunle has very poor bedside manner and does not listen to her patients. She has very limited understanding of people living with Type 1 diabetes nor does she have empathy. She is not willing to use technology such as continuous glucose monitor results to make adjustments to doses preferring to superficially look at average 1c results to make changes. Her office staff are not well trained and communications by fax and email always go unanswered.

Dr Fakunle is a patient, well informed doctor. She takes time to discuss your care & options for your care! I would recommend her to any newly or an "older" diagnosed diabetic!

I really liked her on my first visit more than any others I've seen....very nice and concerned.

My experience is always positive with Dr. Fakunle. She has a compassion for people and goes beyond her natural Dr.responsibility. She truly cares for her patients and anything that would hinder their treatment and healing process. I feel blessed having her as my physician!
