Dr. Oliver Angel Perez

Absolutely appalling service. Dermatologist was rude, disinterested, and very unfriendly. The consultation lasted barely 5 minutes and taught me nothing I didn't already know. Given the huge amount of money paid for the service, I would expect a much better service. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I arrived at the doctor's office, feeling nervous and apprehensive. I've been experiencing some unusual symptoms, and I was hoping that the doctor can provide me with some answers. As I enter the exam room, I was greeted by a doctor who seems to be in a rush. He barely looked up from his computer screen as he asked me to describe my symptoms. I began to explain what's been going on, but the doctor interrupted me several times, dismissing my concerns as trivial. He barely listened to what I was saying and seem more interested in getting me out of the room as quickly as possible.

The doctor I visited gave off a vibe that was far from comforting. He was lacking concern and has left me feeling anxious about my health. I believe that a healthcare professional should be compassionate and dedicated to their work, and the doctor I encountered simply did not embody these qualities.

I believe that doctors should at least be a little more caring and approachable to their patients but unfortunately, that wasn't the case with Dr. Perez. He was rude and not accommodating. His staff was also rude especially the receptionist. That experience had left me feeling very frustrated with them and I will not avail any services from them in the future.

We were never get to see the doctor on time even when we made sure we had a scheduled appointment. Aside from that, they always HARASS us with a number of documents and more requirements for billing and it's so STRESSFUL!

The vibe that I got from the doctor is that he is apathetic and doesn't genuinely care about his patients. Though, he does his job well and has helped a lot of people. So, I could say that he's good at his job. But still, being treated by someone who does not care about you or what happens to you gives me anxiety. I feel uncomfortable knowing that they don't genuinely care about being able to treat me as a patient.

I had a skin cancer removed from my face, and I can’t hardly see the scar!

The doctor thinks he knows it all. He will make a large bill and try to sell products to you. If you resist, the doctor will stop paying you the attention you deserve. Don't get trapped by Dr. Perez. Look at opthers options!

The doctor seemed indifferent towards me. He made me feel that he didn't really car at all and just wanted things to be done as quickly as possible. But the worst part is that his medical assistant is unprofessional and rude. These people need an attitude adjustment.

The consultation is quick, then the procedure to give you the price for your procedure is not transparent and seems very much decided at the moment. Would recommend that you do your homework before agreeing to an appointment

The doctor and his staff need to stop pushing products on the patients and their relatives. First, treat the patients, listen to their expectations, and if they are happy with the treatment, they will come back. With the excessive sales push, you are turning patients away!

The medical assistant here was quite unprofesssional. They let another person in at the time of my appointment when I was sitting right there. When I complainedm, they became rude and used bad language. It must be fixed.

The doctor should try to help the patient more instead of insisting on the products he wanted to promote. What he's doing is causing more harm than good.

I did not find help here. Told me everything I have already heard and I was there for more issues while only one was addressed or even spoken on. Hopefully, they will learn a lot and truly on listening to the patient... and provide the help that people want by finding options other than what they have already tried through every other doctor.

I didn't feel welcome whenever I visit. The doctor was always moody and cold and would always hurry. I never felt comfortable in any of my visits and I thought this should warrant a review so there's no one else who would feel embarrassed like I do. They shouldn't treat their patients like that and they should learn how to be more empathetic and approachable.

Dr. Perez and his staff have treated me with the the utmost kindness, dignity and respect since 2019. I have suffered with severe eczema (Atopic Dermatitis) since my birth in 1957. In the summer of 2019, a painful growth on my leg that had been developing for a year prompted me to get a referral to Advantage Dermatology where I met Dr..Perez and his wonderful staff who first removed the Squamous cell carcinoma on my leg. And then, through their diligent negotiations I was able to receive Dupixent, a breakthrough treatment for my Atopic Dermatitis. I will forever be indebted to them for restoring my health and giving me hope for my future. Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Perez and his excellent medical team to anyone looking for an outstanding Dermatologist. The doctor said that there would be no scars after my skin treatment was complete. The scars are light, but they are there. It's harming mu self-confidence. It would have been better to know the truth from the beginning.

Dr. Perez is arrogant and moody. Sometimes, he welcomes you with a smile and gives off a happy vibe, and sometimes, he wants to get done with the chore of seeing you as a patient. I want my doctor to be nicer than he was. I don't want my health to depend on his many moods!

The doctors here are always busy, and the medical attendants are dishonest. They let people they know go in for meeting the doctor first. It was frustrating to wait for long despite being there on time! They must change that!

My daughter had a cancer scare and needed to have surgery done. We scheduled an appointment at Advantage Dermatology with Dr. Oliver Perez upon a friend’s recommendation. Now I’m convinced that Dr. Perez is really one of, if not the best dermatologist out there. The procedure went well with hardly a scar to show for it. Such deft hands Dr. Perez has. We’re impressed.

I am glad I met Dr. Perez. He was very caring and spent some time explaining my skin condition and treatment options. I was comfortable during the visit and felt that I was in very capable hands. I highly recommend his practice for those looking for the best medical care.

If you have a choice, don't visit this doctor. He doesn't listen to a patient's complaints properly and is rushed through the process. I went with my mom to give her some moral support and realized quickly that Dr. Perez wasn't the right choice for her. So, we consulted another doctor after that, and he didn't rush us through the process at all.

Dr. Oliver Perez is knowledgeable and caring. I’ve received both medical and cosmetic care from him and I am very happy with the results. His careful attention to detail and expertise is why I keep coming back to see him. This is why he is the only doctor I recommend to friends and family.

Dr. Perez and his staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and really make your feel like they care about you and want to help you any way they can. I had a small procedure done and it was all over in under an hour. All turned out well and I was good to go home. They put their patients first, thanks!

It was my first visit to Dr. Oliver Perez, but I’ve already seen incredible results! I’ve been suffering from severe acne problems over the years and he was very methodical in his treatments. He also discussed in detail what was causing my acne and how I could prevent future outbreaks. I will be back again for further treatment. Highly recommend his services.

I’ve been to many dermatologists but the doctors and staff at Advantage Dermatology are simply the best! I came here for treatment for my varicose veins and I wasn’t disappointed. Dr. Perez has excellent bedside manners and explained my treatment thoroughly in a language I can understand. The procedure was completed more quickly than I thought. Great hands!

To be honest, I'm really disappointed because I spent hundreds of dollars with this so called expert skin clinic but they had no idea how to treat my skin issue, it seemed more like a guess work at my expense. My skin has now deteriorated further and there was zero follow up. Would not recommend at all. What could have been improved: Treatments prescribed have not worked.

This is my second visit to Dr. Perez. He performed a minor surgery on a cyst during my first visit. Everything went well and it healed well. On my second visit he did a thorough exam and on both visits he was very knowledgeable and kind. My whole experience was comfortable, and the entire medical staff and office staff are outstanding.

From the front desk to being ushered into the clinic the experience was wonderful. The staff are courteous, and the doctors have good bedside manners. They made me feel safe throughout the treatment. I can’t say enough about how satisfied with the care that I received.

I decided to see Dr. Oliver Perez after my cousin told me great things about him. He answered all my questions and listened to all my concerns and advised me on how to best care for my skin. The staff and Dr. Perez are incredible. I recently moved to Florida and was searching for a clinic and they came highly recommended from a friend. Getting a schedule is easy and the front desk is very responsive. I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment, and I had no problems with parking. Overall, the visit went very well.

My family and I have been visiting Dr. Perez for several years now. He is courteous, friendly, and very talented. I recently had an abnormal growth in my hand, which turned out to be a form of skin cancer. He quickly removed it during my next visit. The clinic was full of patients and I was on the waiting list because for some reason, something went wrong with their schedule and those who made appointments previously can't be found in their system. Doctor Perez was obviously in a sour mood that day.

I've been working with the doctor for my skin problems for some time now, and he used to do really good. But recently, when I went back for the same problems, he started ignoring the new symptoms. I've been getting and prescribes the same old treatments that weren't working anymore. I think he needs to get update with new treatments and technologies.

She had been diagnosed with skin cancer and good thing they caught it during its early stages. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

I still can’t forget the time I had to have skin biopsy done – I was a nerve-wreck! I was worried about what will transpire during the procedure and especially, the outcome. But Dr. Perez pacified me all through out and thankfully, the result was benign!

His attention was somewhere else My experience with the doctor was a very unpleasant one. Though he didn't really do anything bad, he just didn't give me enough attention. He didn't take the time in asking the history of my case, and just prescribed medications. I wasn't able to relay other problems that I had because his attention was already somewhere else.

I had a very pleasant experience when I visited their clinic. Dr. Oliver Perez was very thorough in his examination and explained everything in detail. I was very satisfied with the high level of care I received, and the staff were all so warm and friendly. HIGHLY recommended!

Extreme moods The doctor seems and looks knowledgable and professional overall, but from the few times I've been to his clinic, I've seen a few of his moods. He has extreme moods from a jolly personality to someone with quite an attitude. Though he doesn't really show it to the patients, you can obviously see how he treats his assistants.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Oliver Perez. I don't know if he's always busy but he always didn't seem to care about me, and I asked a few of his other patients, and they all getting the same experience. He just treated us generally and he wouldn't seem to bother about compassion from him, so I transferred to another doctor

Pros: Though some of his staff are high school graduates without much experience, he shouldn't treat them that way. Cons: The fact that he throws stuff at his assistants when they make a mistake makes him a horrible person. I witnessed this one time when they didn't know that I was awake and overheard them.

This dermatologist Dr Oliver Perez is the best dermatologist I have ever seen in my life and his staff is so nice and professional and the place is so clean and comfortable. Worst office staff!!!!!!! They don't return phone calls, don't note the chart when a patient calls, you rarely get to see an actual Dr. I'm beyond fed up!

Dr. Perez and his team removed cancer from my moms nose, and it’s been nothing but problems. They did a flap, and she has had MONTHS of problems. Finally I convinced her to get a second opinion, and she was advised to NEVER let Dr. Perez touch her again. Dr. Perez and his team administered Novacain even though my mom told EVERYONE she was allergic. Then a trip to the ER. Do NOT GO HERE!

Dr. Perez and his staff are not like any other dr office. The level of care and professionalism is off the charts. He has created an environment that is what healthcare should be for everyone. You can see it when you enter the office the patients waiting engaging with each other and has you have return visits you notice the people waiting telling their stories. The staff is not the help he has created a family like atmosphere for his staff and he's a world class teacher to his employees.

My daughter needed an excision due to a precancerous mole. We know we were in the right hands with Dr. Perez and his staff at Advantage Dermatology. Dr. Perez was extremely, professional, competent, and caring. He did a fantastic job - she only has a small scar, which will fade with time. We feel very blessed for Dr. Perez.

Dr. Perez did my mohs surgery over a year ago. I was nervous about the procedure and about my appearance afterwards but was so pleased with Dr. Perez and my results. He was able to remove all the cancerous area the first time and it was not necessary to repeat the process. He and his team were very kind, professional and competent.
