Bad rhinoplasty..put in some strut wrong that has to come out..need scar revision..nose is crooked.the most painful surgery ever..nose was swollen for 3 years post surgery..this was done completely wrong..would say he is the worst surgeon ever..avoid

Horrible I had an African American Rhinoplasty and he did a horrible job. He has poor bedside manners as well.

Dr Slupchynskyj always goes beyond the call of duty to cater to his patients. He has performed miracles on my girlfriend in an emergency situation without blinking an eye. Ignore the negative reviews below, just another example of fake news. Dr Slupchynskyj is a miracle worker.

Unethical practice. Claims to specialize in African American noses, yet doesn’t show any respect what so ever to these patients. I’ve been practically begging for an e-mail response and I am being ignored. This is sickening. I recommend finding a more ethical practice.

I had serious eyelid bags and dark circles. I had them since I was 13. So they were heritadary. At 38 I finally decided to address it because no amount of concealer helped. Plus having soy sauce with food made it even worse. I underwent a 35 min lower blepharoplasty procedure thatcremoved fat that created the bags. Recovered in 3-5 days max. So nice to look refreshed and not tired and saggy.

My experience with Dr. Slupchynskyj was amazing. He is an excellent surgeon and my procedure went very well. He is an advocate of a natural look (only better) which was exactly what I was looking for. He is a kind and caring communicator and really takes the time to answer your questions and concerns. The staff is very accommodating and professional as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Slupchynskyj for any cosmetic enhancements with beautiful results!

Dr. Slupchynskyj is an amazing surgeon. He takes his time with patients to make sure their concerns are met and gave me wonderful results. In other consultations I was told my rhinoplasty results could not be achieved, but Dr. Slupchynskyj explained to me how his custom implant works and it gave me the exact look that I was searching for. It took me over 10 years to find a doctor. When I found Dr. S I saw he had extensive experience with ethnic rhinos so I took a leap of faith. I was reading some of these negative reviews about how he's messed up noses, about how he's a "butcher", nothing could be further from the truth! If you've had 3 other rhinos and still aren't happy, no doctor is going to fix something thats clearly psychological. He was courteous, patient, and in the end I have an AMAZING nose! Im SO grateful!! He's ur guy

I’m a Hispanic male and Registered Nurse in my mid-thirties living in South Florida. I was looking to improve the appearance of my nose. I always felt my nose lacked projection, so I decided to look for a doctor who specializes in nasal augmentation and nostril narrowing. I searched online for a couple of weeks until I decided to contact Dr. Slupchynskyj. I read patient reviews on different websites, and everybody was very pleased with the results obtained after the surgery. The consultation could be in person or on the phone. During the consultation Dr. Slupchyskyj was very friendly, professional, and attentive to my expectations. Then, he took a couple of pictures and used special software to show me how I would look after the procedure. I was very pleased with the computerized after pictures. In addition, financing is available as an option. It took me a couple of months to reserve a date for the procedure because I had to request time off at work. A week before surgery, I was provided with pre-op and post-op care instructions and prescriptions to get antibiotic and pain medications. The day of the procedure the staff and Dr. Slupchyskyj were very kind and professional. The procedure was done under sedation while my vital signs and heart were monitored. On the first day post-op, minimal bleeding, little pain, bruising, and some swelling were experienced. One week post-op, the bruising and discomfort were gone, and the sutures and nose cast were removed by Dr. Slupchyskyj. I was very impressed and happy when I saw the final results. As a health care professional myself, I highly recommend Dr. Slupchynskyj because he is not only empathetic and knowledgeable but also detail oriented and very professional. I had a revision rhinoplasty after 1 and a half years following my first with another surgeon. He corrected a deviated septum which was not done the first time and refined my bridge. I was scared to go through this again but Dr. S. and his staff made this possible and I am happy with how I look finally and can breath so much better.

I had three procedures with him, and they all turned out terrible - jaw implants that didn't look good; a chin implant that shifted and got infected, and a lip lift (which he carelessly did not take all the stitches out of, so the incision got infected and there is now a horrendous scar on my face). He made absolutely no effort to rectify the horrendous scarring and infected chin and doesn't respond to phone calls/emails. I pulled a 1 cm long blue nylon stitch out of my lip one month post-op.

Anyone who’s ever contemplated undergoing a medical/cosmetic procedure knows the stress and anxiety that accompany us on that journey. Placing trust in someone you don’t know to take care of your health and physical aesthetics is no easy feat, which is precisely why I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. S with zero reservation. From the moment he walked into the exam room, his laid back, cool, calm, and collected demeanor immediately put me at ease; I knew I was in the right place. It is easy to tell the doctor is very knowledgeable about the anatomy and contours of the face. Although Botox and fillers are both minimally invasive procedures, it is vital to find a physician who knows exactly WHERE and HOW an agent needs to be placed in order to create desired results. There are so many varying facial shapes, that this knowledge, in itself, is an art form. I’ve had previous experiences with other doctors, and Dr. S superseded them all; he is clearly very talented and on top of his game. The injections were swift and precise, while the results were exactly as desired. The Botox was injected such that I am able to raise my eyebrows as is necessary, there is zero “surprised” effect, and my forehead is very much mobile, less the wrinkles! I have never had Botox look so beautifully natural. Same goes for the filler- it’s my face with a contour, which is exactly what I wanted. Lips are natural, but plumper. In terms of pain, mine was minimal with some swelling that lasted a few days, but my skin is very sensitive and reactive; I bloat and swell if I look in the wrong direction! I was actually expecting worse. Overall, a wonderful experience in a beautiful office with a lovely doctor, staff, and most importantly, fantastic results! Go! You won’t regret it! I underwent and otoplasty procedure with Doctor S. in June and the results where exceptional. The procedure was fast, pain free and I was able to return to work the following day with no down time. I have minor scaring at the incision site that is almost invisible. Doctor S. and his team were very thorough and professional making sure all my questions were answered and needs met. I highly recommend Doctor S. and the Aesthetic Institute of NY to anyone considering any elective procedure. I had Moh surgery on the top of my nose and my dermatologist recommended a plastic surgeon to fill the 1/2 inch hole. Dr. Slupchynskyj took care of it and I am very pleased, he explained exactly how to prepare for the surgery and what I can expect after. I have had keloid scars for many years. The typical treatment is painful steroid injections, which reduced the scars, but not fast enough for my liking. My dermatologist recommended I get them removed and referred me to Dr. S. He was patient, knowledgeable, and informative; he walked me through the process. I decided to have the surgery with Dr. S. and so far so good. His very pleasant and professional office staff made my decision to go with Dr. S. that much easier. Last month I had XL malar/cheek implants done by Dr. Slupchynskyj at his Manhattan office after reading several favorable reviews online. Everyone at his practice was kind, available, and open to answering any and all questions I had about the procedure. I knew at my first consult that Dr. S was the one for me. He listened to what I wanted, and was very open and straightforward with me. I felt like he knew exactly what he was doing, and was confident that he could give me the look I desired. The day of the procedure everything went smoothly. I had no side effects from the local anesthesia, and woke with minor pain. I was even given Dr. S's personal cell number to call if I had any problems at home. I was VERY swollen for the first 5 days, but by day 7, I knew I was going to love my new high cheekbones. Stitches were completely dissolved by 3 weeks, and swelling appears to be completely gone as I type this at a little over 1 month post op. After extensive research to get rid of my turkey neck, I chose Dr. S and it was definitely the right decision. He is extremely professional and caring and was/is more than willing to answer all of my many questions. He explained the procedure and recovery in detail and assured me the scars would not be noticeable even though I have very short hair. Everything turned out exactly as he promised. I chose the sluplift, which he developed himself, because it did not require any anesthesia. The down-time was minimal, as was the swelling and bruising. I was able to return to work in a few days feeling so much better about my appearance. Dr. S has a very knowledgeable staff who did everything to make me feel comfortable. I knew I wanted to get my lips done but had no idea where to start looking for a Dr. After doing some research online I came across Dr. Slupchynskyj. I decided to set up a consultation in his NYC office. I ended up getting the Silikon1000 injection right then and there. I was very confident he was the Dr. I should go with. There was no downtime whatsoever, I left his office and went straight to work. My lip was only a little bit swollen but the swelling didn't last long at all. I loved the results, and felt it was very natural looking.After 3 weeks I was able to go back for my follow up & second round. 3.4- 4 star. The office is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. I was in for Botox and it was the first time I had botox injected in so few injections. Not sure how I felt about it but the results were the same as with more pricks in the face. It was a pleasant experience overall.

Dr. Slupchynskyj has just the right touch when administering a little help here and there on my face. I always look "refreshed" afterwards, not overdone. I wouldn't trust anyone else and plan to be a patient for a long time.

I have been working with Dr. S. for over 4 years. I have found Dr. S. to be a very caring and talented doctor. Whenever he has helped me, I find that he has given me great advice, performed small miracles, and has terrific follow up. I would give him the very highest marks for his talented work.

I had botox done in one area back in November and was very pleased with the results. The procedure was quick and mostly painfree. I liked the fact that I did not have a long wait. I liked that the Doctor did not try to suggest additional procedures than what I came there for. I plan to return in February for more Botox

I've been getting Botox from Dr. S for several years, and just tried a filler, Juvederm, for my "marionette lines." It looks great! Very natural. It's not pain-free, but the injections only hurt while you're getting them (no pain after). People have told me that I look the same as I did 10 years ago. I really appreciate how Dr. S understands that less can be more, and doesn't overdo it. He also doesn't try to push you into doing anything. I am a 59 yrs. old African American male who had serious concerns about maintaining a natural looking nose. I emphatically did not want to look as if I had had rhinoplasty surgery. I have been going to Dr. Slupchynskyj for a couple of years now, receiving Botox treatments. I had been to two other doctors prior, for the same treatment, and was not satisfied. Once I went to Dr. Slupchynskyj I was hooked. His treatments are great, the results amazing, and last longer! Last year I was experiencing terrible migraines, I went to all kinds of doctors, i.e. neurologists, chiropractors, but nothing helped. The past few years I have felt that my face has lost volume. Specifically my cheeks. I hs asked Dr S about implants. He recommended that I try juvederm injections to see if I like how it looks. After he injected my cheeks he even admitted it looked good. He then told me about fat injections and how it is a very natural look and and since it comes from your body its basically a permanent procedure. That just sounded so great to me, and I loved the results of the juvederm but who could afford those injections constantly. So, I had another consultation and scheduled a time for the procedure. I'm an African American who came to Dr. S after having Rhinoplasty with another NYC plastic surgeon that I was extremely unhappy with. I sure wish I had done my due diligence and found Dr. S first. The office is warm and inviting and Dr. S and his staff were personable. I had 2 visits with Dr. S before making my decision to proceed with the surgery and he was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. Cara was also great, responding to all of my questions via email right away on the financial end, therefore making me feel even more comfortable with Dr. S's establishment. Dr. S performed my third rhinoplasty. After seeing many other doctors and after 2 failed attempts to get I wanted, Dr. S was the right surgeon all along. It has been almost a year now since he performed my surgery and I have never been more confident and happy with the results. My face looks exactly how I always imaged it and he made it look exactly like how he morphed it on the computer image. I have a blefaroplastiek of both upper and under eyelids done by Dr.S. He and his staff were very kind, accurate and took good care of me after the operation. Even thereafter they were approachable for questions. I had no pain at all and almost no bruising. After 2 weeks I had makeup on and went out. I look fresher from the eyes. I am one month post surgery after my SLUPlift minilift. I am in my late fifties and had been a Botox and Juvederm user for 7 to 8 years. I did NOT want to undergo any surgical procedure which would involve a long surgery time, general anesthesia or a long recovery. I did not know all my options until I consulted with Dr. S. The fillers and Botox could not correct my jowling or excess skin. They definitely helped but the results I have now could not be achieved with anything non-surgical. I wish I had done this sooner and spent less time being uncomfortable with how my face was aging. They type of doctor you choose makes the difference. This doctor is certified by two Boards for facial surgery and has conservative, natural results. I was very comfortable and confident about Dr. Slupchynskyj working on my face just from learning about his double board certification, reading his websites and speaking to him during our consultation. I fractured my nose 3 yrs ago and it was never properly treated. My bridge showed a large bump,and it twisted to the left. He reviewed CT scans, analyzed by nasal structure and showed me computer imaging of what my nose would possibly look like after surgery. I am amazed at how quickly I recovered. With just 10 days after surgery, I don't have any bruising or major swelling. I no longer have to pose at a certain angle for pictures to hide my crooked nose. This was the second procedure I have had with Dr S and just like the first the recovery was quick. I had an eye area update, eye and brow lift, mid December and went out on New Years Eve!. The results look natural and I just look better not different. The friends who know I had work done say they can't tell I've had surgery - no tell-tale signs. What I see is that instead of those drooping, tired eyelids are they same aged looking eyelids as my friend's 35+ yr old daughter.
