This doctor has some serious issues. I was sent to him by my GP for 2 things, a recommendation for a new med and an insulin schedule. He would just stare at me blankly, couldn’t answer questions and wouldn’t prescribe anything but the same med I was on. I needed a different med because my insurance didn’t cover/provide my original med. He flat out refused to help when I called him back about it. The insulin schedule was full of errors and made no sense at all, totally useless.

This doctor and his staff are taking great care of our autistic daughter who is also medically fragile. His nurse practitioner is smart and courteous and understands medically everything in this practice. There may be many patients but the office is organized so it helps everyone and accepts most insurance plans. I have nothing but good things to say about the doctor and his staff.

this doctor is horrible, he is lazy and doesn't know his work always refers out to see his PA. he will tell you to come back few months later when there is an urgent matter in your health. this guy should not practice do not go here its a waste even female pa sucks here too

My mother taught me to never say anything bad about an individual. So I won't say anything now. Read between the lines.

Save yourself some aggravation and go somewhere else. Ignore the 5 star ratings as they are not legit.

On 10/28/19 Dr Opgard had his Front Desk Office Worker Call and tell Me that I am taken off his Patience List , I have been told to not come ;back. He dose not like to be Challenged Regarding his work ethics. He has only seen me three times in my 5yr as his Patience, he makes his Nurse Practitioner do all his work!! Very unprofessional. DO NOT GET TREATMENT FROM DR OPGARD OFFICE!!

Consistently runs behind on appointments. The average time I’ve waited to see Dr. or practitioner AFTER my scheduled appointment time is 35-55 minutes. The office in Yorba Linda is old, dirty and run down- everything looks like it was purchased in the early 2000’s and hasent been updated since. Very little is done to make the already dull experience of visiting the Dr. comfortable. Every time I have come, I am checked in 15 min pay my appointment time and put in one of the patient rooms for the

Very knowledgeable & caring, has been my doctor for many years, very happy with my doctor :)

I just had my first visit as of today and I am very impressed and pleased with his services, He took the time out to listen to my concerns and take action. He seemed like he actual wanted to help which is a rarity nowadays. My best doctor I have for sure.

Awesome doctor with a helpful and knowledgeable staff!!

Based on some reviews & frankly a pic used on his website I was poised to research a new endocrinologist...however I actually had a good experience. When I called to make the appt the person was very friendly. At the office, people coming out seemed happy. The person at the front desk was very nice. I did not wait long to see the doctor. The room was clean and good sized. Dr. Opgaard was pleasant, listened and made sure my concerns were addressed. I left feeling confident I had good information

Dr. Oppgaard was very nice. I went for a second opinion on unusual antibody lab results. Punctual, not rushed, willing to answer questions and he readily admits limitations (i hate it when drs pretend to understand stuff they clearly have no clue about). He listened and we talked for about 30 minutes. He is one of those docs that worships tsh so I wouldnt use him as a regular doc for hypothyroid but overall he was pretty good.

Leaves with saying I diagnose but I don't treat.

They made some major mistakes wasting my time. I understand it's Obama medical but this doctor does nothing.
