Norman Stanley Miller

Beware of this individual. He will contradict 5-10 psychologists, psychiatrist, doctors, etc. to meet his bottom line. He didn’t even have the right documents to my case, he had a portfolio of a different individual. Seriously be prepared before going in, because he will lie and cheat to protect insurance companies.

Went very well and finally got a better diagnoses. I was on the wrong medication.

Only gave him one star because they make you in order to write a review. If your looking for a doctor that talks down at you and only his opinion matters this is your guy. If your looking for a doctor who is truly invested in helping you through your trauma DO NOT USE HIM. I was sent to him to get an evaluation for my auto insurance company by their third part vendor MCN. I walked in his office and he started belittling me from the start. Be prepared for this man to tell you how you feel, while ignoring any input you may have True company Dr. This man has no vested interest in your health. Just my little opinion

Ended up coming to see him for an eval. He went on and on about how i shouldn't have my medical marijuana. He kept telling me I had a drug addiction, that I need help. He told me it was causing my issues that my TBI (traumatic brain injury) cause. He does not care about you or anything you say. He will blame all your medications on the problems you are having. Terrible Dr. That is apparently getting paid under the table. He belived in the 28 minutes he talked to me that he was able to state that i do not have Bipolar disorder or ADHD. Which are diagnosis I have gotten from several different psychiatrists. Blamed all my issues on my ADHD medication which i never had a problem with untill I got a traumatic brain injury. But hey i am not a Dr. And apparently neither are all the other so called dr.s that have diagnosed me. Terrible Dr. That is apparently getting paid under the table. Would not recommend him to treat my neighbors dead cat..he would argue that it was not really dead. The most incompetent disrespectful so called physician I wish I would never have had the misfortune to have to see. A total Company Doctor for the insurance corporations. He stated that my 45 years of work in neuropsychiatry including 13 years in military neuropsychiatry were meaningless..I had USAA..they really had my 6. .

Easily the most unpleasant human I have ever come in contact with. He gives me chills to this day. He will "diagnose" you with all sorts of illnesses within literally a minute of speaking to you. Unprofessional, illogical, forgetful, cruel are a few words I can think of to describe his behavior.

We recently had the displeasure of seeing "Dr" Miller for an independent medical evaluation. There really is nothing independent about this because the insurance company is paying the bill. My wife has been dealing with a condition for 8 years now that causes her to black out. We have had extensive workups for seizures, epilepsy, and were able to rule them out with some of the top doctors in the state. This led us to psychiatry and finding out my wife suffers from conversion disorder because of the trauma suffered in her auto accident. At this appointment, Miller spent his time talking about her migraines and treatments; which are also well documented by several specialists, as "being in her head". He is not a neurologist and had to refer to a text book to even know how to do a basic test. He accused her of "getting something out of it". I'm not sure of anyone that would enjoy needles being stuck in their head upwards of 20 times in a treatment to be able to cope with migraines a real benefit. He didn't run any actual tests and the appointment lasted under 40 minutes. His diagnosis was to "get on with her life". I feel sorry for anyone that needs to see him for an IME, you may as well plan on losing any benefits you have. This is probably the only reason our adjuster referred to him as a good psychiatrist... good for who though? We kept our video evidence of my wife's events to show to real doctors not scrounging for income. I highly doubt this duck even remembers the oath he took as an alleged doctor to "do no harm". Very very unprofessional! I did not want to go in alone and wanted my husband with me and the Dr refused to see me. So unprofessional!

Quack......if referred by MES solutions, watch yourself and back everything with medical records...but still, said no medical evidence for insurance claim!

Went here for an MES appt scheduled by the Insurance company with my wife. We were seen separately and when he saw my wife he showed her pictures of our crash scene (we were in a head on collision resulting in the loss of our son), which she had never seen. Obviously this upset her and triggered a severe panic attack. He focused more on how we were dealing with our loss rather than how it has affected us. Giving us his opinions on what we’re doing right and wrong. He was specifically hired to garner information on how we were doing following the crash, not dole out unsolicited medical advice. We have our own doctors for that. He was smug, pompous and an overall worthless waste of a doctorate. Feel free to check him out online. I had the worst experience with Dr. Miller and would NOT recommend him to any one. He is more worried about how your behavior is affecting him in the office instead of trying to help you over come your obstacles.

Dr. Miller is the worst physician that has ever treated me. I encountered him in the emergency department on a locum tenens job. Upon entering the room he stated, "I already know all about you". This was not only impolite but unprofessional and inconsistent with accepted standards of medical practice, in that he had not yet conducted any Interview, and was basing his assumptions only upon an outdated history and the medications for which I had prescriptions. Years in the field does not make you an expert. To be an expert witness is not who pays the most. It is one who truely evaluates the medical findings accurately and consistently everytime. Norman Miller does not accurately diagnosis medical records or conditions very well. I would not recommend anyone to employ his services for anything medical. For someone that has been in the field for so many years surely does not have very many positive remarks. The remarks that he has are very sad.
