He is nothing but a pill factory. The appointment lasts 2-3 minutes and he requires you to come back every month if you are on a prescription. He also barely listens to what you are saying. He asked me the same question about a counselor I was seeing and it took him 3 months to hear me say the same thing that I had not been able to see that counselor due to a change of insurance.

I agree with every one else, he only says how are you, 2 mts, and has to see you every month for the money, the only asset in that office is his secretary kelly who will go above and beyond, he charges extra every time he has to fill out paper work, terrible, he actuall should lose his license because if you are elderly he only has one diagnosis dementia- terrible dr

Dr. Nilesh H. Baxi makes you feel worse and uncomfortable and lowers your self-esteem coming out than when your coming in. This Psychiatrist will NOT help you solve any mental, emotional, or spiritual problem(s) you may have. He asks you basic questions such as "How are you feeling?", "Why are you depressed?", "How's your anxiety?", "How is your weight?", "Any comment from your family?", ,... The problem is that he doesn't dig deeper into the stem/root of your problems. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Dr. Baxi wants you to see him every month for a refill even if you are medically stable and aren't on schedule 2 meds like amphetamine or something which by law is required. I work as a psychiatric nurse in a psych hospital and know the laws. Anyways, he won't do refills by phone and is only available Monday and Tuesday from like 5-7pm. I have been seeing him for at least five years just to get my prescriptions refilled. Long story short he is essentially a drug dealer with the prescription pad

If you don't feel depressed when you go in, then you certainly will when you come out. This is a man who is supposed to help people through mental crises and after prescribing one or two medications that you don't have luck with, he'll simply tell you he doesn't know what's wrong with you. That is all before he practically pushes you out the door. He's obviously just in it for the money, not helping his patients.
