Dr. Nikan H Khatibi

I really feel comfortable talking to the doctors because they ask questions if I'm not feeling good they ask me about my mental health

I saw Dr Nik For A Year in His Escondido office, I MISS HIM SO MUCH!!! have the Absolute worst Pain Management Doctor now she has had me suffering immensely, I am calling my Insurance provider and BEGGING THEM for Dr Nik Back, Seriously, you will get irritated as Hell with the office Staff but Seriously if your Just nice and Patient with them they help you, they are just grumpy old ladies, like me...lol I guess that's why I get them But This Doctor Absolutely will not let you suffer, just follow their rules and don't be rude, and You will be very Happy, I'm going back, I hope to God, I'm going Back!!!

This doctor is a horrible doctor!! I had a pain pump inserted by him and left to rot when time Came to fill it up again with medicine!! After showing up for my appointment I was greeted by a locked door I then followed up later that afternoon again a lot door with no phone call from him or his staff. Now the appointment was to get my pump refilled with medicine after calling his Office twice after that to make sure my next appointment they would have my medicine I was disappointed to find out that he forgot to do it again. Now my pain pump is constantly beeping I know is close to empty and had to find another doctor because this doctor is incompetent And lacks the professionalism you would expect from a certified doctor. Please be where if your looking for somebody who will rush you out the door and not listen to you or the questions you ask this is not the doctor for you. If you are worried about getting your medications on time this is not the doctor for you. Unprofessional!! My advice to anyone reading this is to find a doctor with more than 2 stars.

Dr. Khatibi and his staff make up an excellent team. It is a rarity when you find a team that; listens to you, throughly investigates your concerns, and builds a comprehensive plan to treat you. I have a ton of gratitude for what him, and his team have done to help me.

I have suffered from CRPS#2 for over 12years now. This type of injury can not be repaired by surgery nor physical therapy therefore I must live with the excruciating pain. Giving the type of medication I take to relieve the pain I have been bounced around from doctor to doctor until I found Dr Khatibi. The N/P and the P/A are fantastic mainly N/P Luminita and of course Dr Khatibi. I no longer fear not getting my essential medication that I need to live a normal life. The front office is great, you just need to understand that they are extremely busy with patience. I would recommend this office if you truly have chronic pain and ask for N/P Luminita or P/A Mrs Holtz they are absolutely the best in the business of pain management. In closing this Drs office has given my professional and personal life back. Gavin.

Worse pain management doctor I have ever been to. I actually didn't get to see him, but he supposedly checked my complaints. Automatic back massage as soon as I got in, my pain is not in my back. Felt like they were just trying to push drugs and lidocaine! Tried to send me for steroid shots with no images. Walgreens refused to fill their prescriptions. They didn't follow Covid-19 protocol. Waiting room was packed, no disinfecting areas and patients with masks below their noses.

THIS DOCTORS OFFICE IS EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL. I work at a skilled nursing facility and almost all patients we have sent here have had numerous complaints. We recently had a patient visit this doctors office with a CNA. The CNA reported that the staff at this office were yelling at her and the patient, and they refused to see the patient. When our facility called to find out what was going on, Dr. Khatibi was very rude over the phone and even hung up the phone when we attempted to discuss the issue. In another instance, the staff at this office refused to let one of our patients in because he came in a gurney. They told the patient that the next time he comes in on a gurney, he'll have to be seen OUTSIDE. I am concerned for the safety and well being of any patient who goes to this office.

Dr K is upbeat caring and provides excellent care. I have been a pain patient for several years now and he has done the best job at controlling my pain. After trying the assigned HMO pain dr I was given I found myself in pain and uncomfortable. After switching to Dr K's office I can live comfortable again. Thanks to Dr K.

Dr. Khatibi is an great doctor he answers all my questions that I have he always make me smile even while in a lot of pain. He listens to everything that I have to say instead of cutting me off or telling me how I feel like other doctors do. When I first started going there his office was always crowded. The older lady that works the front desk is so rude to everyone. After talking to Dr. Khatibi about how crowded the office is and how the older lady talk to me and everybody. I haven't had any problems with the older lady or an over crowded office.

I am very satisfied with my care. Dr. Khatibi is very knowledgeable and has excellent Dr/patient skills of communication and compassion. He has the patient's best interest at heart. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is suffering with pain . I have recommended him many times already. Excellence!!!

This Doctor is a joke. This office is a pill factory, they must see 500 people a day, all they are interested in is when you want to come back for more pills! they did not even look at my x-ray or MRI, how can they diagnose anything without looking? Faye is very meticulous about hand writing in the ledger - I wonder if the IRS would be interested in that ledger? This guy is definatley part of the Opioid Crisis.

I am glad I won't be back. This man does not listen, and is more attentive to the student's he teaches, rather than his patient's

From the moment he started treating me always had a smile, he took the time to ask me questions, not only about the reason for my visit, but about what impact the paint being on my shoulders had on me, he listened and more important, he took action and provided me with the prescritions I needed to relive the majority of the pain

Dr Katibi is super awesome!! But I don't know why he lets the old lady with the heavy accent treat us like total ****. I have had to do without my meds 3 times due to the practicing Dr' s messing up my script. She won't talk to Queens pharmacy to verify anything! She talks to me like I'm some drug addict off the back alley looking for a quick high. She was way nasty and rude to me again. And basically told me he is busy,and I can wait to see him when he's back in Hesperia next month. WTH.

I love Dr. Nik! But you can keep his mother and her staff! I went for my social security hearing and they were ORDERED his staff to forward my records. 7 requests in and now his staff is in contempt of court! Won't be going back!

Worst place! I am a nurse and have worked in healthcare for 18years. NEVER have I ever been treated or seen anyone treat people so inappropriately in my life! ZERO stars.

Very caring, and very attentive to my needs. I love the front staff also. Happy to make him my monthly Doctor. Front staff deals with a heavy all day... they are the best.

I LOVE this doctor. He is genuinely a nice man and handles his patients respectfully. I can not say the same about the two women who work up front. They hang up the phone when you call, are extremely rude, and act like they’re managers. My insurance filed grievance reports on them. They claimed I had no insurance when I in fact did, was on phone insurance told them to give them phone to verify, and they called her a liar! No customer service at all. FIRE THEM.

I would definitely give the doctor 5 stars but I’ve had horrible issues with his rude receptionists! One even raised her voice to me stating “we don’t owe you Botox and where’s your approval for it” when she messed up my appt for the second time for migraines. Went today and it was the 3rd appt out of 5 they didn’t even have me listed for! Thankfully they give appt cards and I had proof! The doctor did my Botox but I was upset he was upset I complained about his staff and said I can go elsewhere

Dr Khatibi is one of those special doctors who actually LISTENS to you. Knows there can be many reasons for your physical pain. I highly recommend him.

My once a month appointment with Dr. Khatibi in the Hesperia office is absolutely my favorite day of the month. I look forward to it all month. There are so many nice patients I get to talk to while waiting. The girls at the counter are so kind and wonderful. Dr. Khatibi and his other doctors are all just nothing but the best. Dr. Khatibi is a champion in his demeanor. I've never had the privilege of having so many awesome people helping me. Dr. Khatibi is so kind-hearted and caring.

This dr's idea of "pain management " is to push pills, epidurals, steroids, lidocaine patches, pain gels, etc. There IS NO ACTUAL PHYSICAL THERAPY DONE TO PATIENTS...at least not in the Hesperia office. And if you don't have IEHP DIRECT, they tell you to change because it is "easier for them". I cancelled my follow up appointment and the receptionist was very rude....demanding why. I told her because I want to and I don't have to give you a reason.

very good...professional, asks questions about my condition with genuine concern. Also gives great advice about any, and other health issues. Dr. Khatabi is one of, if not best doctors I've ever had, and I've had many.

Wow. Just wow. The Doctor needs to do something about the very RUDE receptionist. She's the one with the very strong accent. I'm just in complete shock how she just spoke to me when trying to make my appointment. Started yelling at me about a missed appointment and that I'll be punished by her not making me an appointment. But I never missed an appointment. I'm at a complete loss by how this woman spoke to me. I will not be returning!

I also was a patient of Dr Khatibi at Riverside Medical and was very sad to see him go. He is a wonderful Dr who is there to help you with your pain management with a positive attitude and calming nature that is real. I wish him the best with his new businesses and his political goals.

Dr. Khatibi is an AMAZING pain man.specialist! The way the office is set up and how it runs is super organized. The staff is amazing! The Medical Assistants were very generous and kind. They treated me as if I were home. Dr K. has solutions for me, as I was in an MVA in 2010 and had sciatica issues with my last pregnancy! I recommend him! He made me feel absolutely comfortable. I am an MSN -FNP myself and I can tell he has the BEST bedside manners I have ever seen! The service was optimal care!

Dr. Khatibi’s energy is very calming. I go in to his office with discomfort and as soon as he comes in the room,I feel comfortable and cared for. He is nice and so is his staff. I’m in n out quickly as well. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a pain management Dr. Don’t be intimidated by the lady in the front she is a sweetheart.

I was a patient of Dr. Katibi when he was the pain management provider at Riverside Medical Clinic. He's an awesome doctor and I'm trying to get referred back him now that he's returned to southern California.

I have been seeing Dr Khatibi for close to a year now, I absolutely adore him! However, The office manager is the rudest, most disrespectful woman I have probably ever met! She refused to let me see the dr because my ins wasn't active, except that it IS and I had her speak to THREE representatives from my insurance company, she was beyond rude to them as well as multiple other patients, 5 people walked out and will never return because of her

Dr. K is by far one of the best doctors I’ve met! Along with my pain from back surgery comes so much depression and anxiety from not being whole as I once was and dealing with the constant struggle of making it through another painful day Dr. K seems to understand this. I wish chronic pain was more understood and the struggle those of us who live in pain go through was more understood like it is by dr. K! I just wish I didn’t have so many problems filling my pain medication or attitude on phone

Dr. K is a very caring and understanding doctor. Not many people understand what it’s like being only 31 and having to live with pain for the rest of your life and not be able to live life fully because of poor decisions by other doctors, but he seems to. After my back surgery I’ve lost a piece of myself that I know I’ll never get back and Dr. K is helping me through this! Living in constant pain is horrible and when I see him he makes me smile!!! Wish Prior Auths we’re handled more timely tho

Dr was through and to all I had to say. Epidural gave me gave me wonderful relief for a month. Both times I tried to make an appointment it took 3 - 6 months. When you are in constant pain, not acceptable. The office is not only RUDE, they haven’t a clue what is going on. Office can make or break you.

Dr. Khatibi is the best! He genuinely cares about his patients and their wellbeing. I actually look forward to seeing him once a month because of his positive energy and the smile he puts on my face. I really wish he could be my primary Doctor as well. The ladies that work the desk are also very helpful and kind to me. Thank you Dr. Khatibi and staff!

He is a great doctor, but receptionist I'd very rude and confroncational! She was rude to me 1st visit and then rude to my wife. 2nd visit she was worse,she actually got right in my wife's face in front of all patients yelling at her,I had to tell her to back away. I left because of her and will never return. I will be contacting state fund to report unprofessional and just plain mean person (Fay)! He is such a nice person and great doctor but I will no longer put up with her behavior

I have been seeing Dr Khatibi for 3+ years and find him to be very kind and professional. I have always appreciated that he listens and addresses each issue I have. He has given me sound advise and helped me to deal with my chronic condition. He is very upbeat and positive and I usually feel better after I have seen him! I am sure he gets busy, so I make my appointments in advance. Once I waited and it took 2 months to get an appointment.

Best Dr. I've ever gone to. Makes me feel like he really cares about my quality of life. After reading other' responses, I'm not the only one who feels that way. 5 stars!
