I've given this much thought, almost 3 years to be exact, before i decided to leave a review. I'll be succinct: Dr Poulos was monsterous and caused permanent nerve damage, failed fusion, and capped off that outstanding lack of skill with the utmost in arrogance that shocked not only myself but those who witnessed it. I pray he does not touch another human. My life has been forever changed. He categorically and undeniably failed at his job, not my "opinion", medical fact; proven by the debilitating nerve damage as well as other doctor's evaluation of latest xrays. More to come as i feel comfortable releasing it. I just want others to DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE, don't act like i did and take the first dr with an opening. Trust me, you'll do ANYTHING when you go from career in full swing, shredded physique, daily excercise, happiness in general, to suddenly getting out of a car at work and bam, you suddenly cannot walk. Maybe he cared for patients in his career, at some point, but as of 10/16/18 he had lost any compassion for this patient and like so many others he was simply a man that would not retire, despite his failures and ineptitude at his profession, he chugged along; going through the motions, if you will. When a person loses passion in their career, no matter which career, they do bad work. Period. My pain and suffering is on your hands, Nicholas. Please retire. Money isn't what you need more of, you need to simply "do no harm". I believe that may be part of an oath you took many, many, many years ago.................but i'm just another guy. A nobody whose spine you destroyed. A statistic. A number. I harbor no hatred but i must issue this warning to other men in their 30s(or anyone) who might find this and can relate and at least look elsewhere. Dr Poulos, Joe Scott, and their staff gave me my life back. I had cervical fushion surgery that resulted in no pain!!!! I am back to my life and I owe it all to them. They were wonderful from start to finish and I would recommend them to everyone that needs help.

Dr Poulos is an outstanding, friendly, and dedicated doctor. My wife has been treated by Dr Poulos for many years and we have always had a fabulous experience with him and his associates. We would recommend him to anyone in need of a neurosurgeon. He's simply the best.

Belittling my doctor referral no way reads test mri results because i hav 20 mm tarlov CYSTS affecting inconsistance. He ask " do U even know Y. U .R here? He does surgery not dr. Visits. Told nurse that i was to follow up but not with him

Dr. Poulos did a spectacular job on my mother's back surgery. He's also a nice guy--not that that matters as technical excellence is all one cares about in a surgeon--but it's a nice bonus.

Dr. Poulos,did back surgery on my husband and done a wonderful job. I would go to him myself if I had to have surgery, Dr. Poulos is a Dr that says what he means,and means what he says as for as before and after surgery, if you don't do what he says is best for you, then don't blame him for not healing right. This guy ruined my life! I did everything he told me to do after the TWO(AlifPlif)he blamed me for the surgery not working, horrific bead side manners, post surgery he had me so drugged i was breathing 3 times a minute, he wouldn’t answer his phone at 2am, amelia was a joke! he has cut on my friend and he’s on non stop pain pills. I will never work another day in my life! please do your homework!!! I now have a pain pump, nerve stimulator,injections,chiro,back brace, Many pills with minimal help

I would highly recommend. After a year of constant pain and many different approaches, from injections to PT, this man took one look at my MRI and knew what needed done. I walk 2 miles almost everyday and mentally thank him!

Dr. Poulos is very thorough in testing for issues so nothing is missed. Great doctor!

Dr. Nicholas Poulos is a world class surgeon. He and Dr. Crouch partnered in my surgery on 17 May 2017. I could not walk a 100 yards without stopping at least twice with radiating pain in my left leg. I had spondy... Now I am up to walking 6 miles without stopping. I know within a couple of months I will start running again. The ALIF & posterior instrumentation at L5:S1 were textbook perfect as the x-rays have revealed. Amelia (PA) is Dr. Poulos right hand person and she is phenomenal.

He and his staff were wonderful. I had an emergency surgery in his care and feel like he explained things to us as well as made the best decisions for my care. The hospital was great as well. Overall dr poulos and his staff provided excellent care and were extra cautious with my health and well being.

Dr poulos was fantastic. I had an ALIF,spinal fusion of 3 disc. And my results were so much better than I expected.I would recommend his services to anyone.
