Mr. Doctors visit with Dr. Ogunmola was great with my son. He had great bed side manners and was very knowledgeable on the information I received. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Ogumola was very patient and knowledgeable. He was personable and easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all.

Dr. Ogunmola is a wonderful doctor that cares. He is very thorough and always listen very carefully, always answers my call, also his nurse is amazing!

I’m looking at the reviews for the GI department and wondering what doctors these patients are seeing bc everyone I speak to has the worst things to say about cooks. My son was treated with dr ogunmola for years and nothing was ever resolved and dr ogunmola seemed so disinterested, tired and bothered by us being there. He always is busy and just annoyed to be in our presence. In my opinion he’s tired and over worked and just over his job. dr ogunmola Suggested a colostomy bag for a child with constipation. I asked for additional information of an explanation and he doesn’t fully explain his thoughts of why it’s needed(he would rub us face as if my question were to much/ or he’s overwhelmed or he’s just annoyed by us) He also said my son wasn’t Potty trained, as he has a BM issue. Its constipation.????????‍♀️????????‍♀️ When going to appointments I would explain things I read about my sons condition and he seemed offended or even insulted sometimes, that I the mom even had an opinion ….. Me and my son were just a bother …. Well needless to say I moved my child to another provider and guess what? 1.he didn’t need a colostomy bag 2.he is fully potty trained 3. Min constipation 4.the majority of his past issues have subsided with the proper medical provider/team/direction 5. Ohhhh!!!!! Only 1 medicine needed(dr ogunmola prescribed my child so much medicine) It’s been over 6 months and my child has improved so much! I feel like a bad mom and I have such a guilty feeling on my spirit and heart for sticking with dr ogunmola for over 5 years( I thought it would get better and I also thought over time he had to actually do something but he never did) People really read these reviews bc I wasted my time with dr ogunmola. Maybe we rubbed one another the wrong way, maybe he didn’t like me or my son, maybe he was tired each time we met in the 5 years my son was a patient???? Idk but…. All I can say is meet these providers first, read the reviews and ask questions bc if I would have continued with dr ogunmola my sons provider would have had a colostomy bag by now. Dr Ogunmola was warm and friendly with my 8 year old daughter and made her feel immediately at ease. After a line of questioning, he knew what was wrong and I’m sure she is going to feel better soon!

Dr. Ogunmola really helped my daughter feel better. He made her laugh and feel at ease (she usually is not comfortable around tall men). He listened to my concerns and came up with a plan. We ended up needing referral to an allergist and he had a personal recommendation. Very pleased and thankful for the care we received. No more awful tummy aches! Ogunmola doesn’t listen to anything the parents say. As I’ve seen in other reviews, he only wants to push EleCare. Makes me wonder how much kickback he is getting from them. His go to for everything is send them to the hospital, feeding tube or invasive surgery to put in a feeding tube. If you can, go somewhere else. When we asked for an explanations, he refused to give a full explanation. No parent will let a doctor cut a hole in their child without clear explanation why. We said we would look for a second opinion before moving forward, he stormed out and said “go get your second opinion.” A week later, we called his office again to give him a chance to give an explanation, we were told he would not see us unless we agreed to follow his recommendation. We would have to agree to his plan, before anything is explained to us. Interestingly, I notice all the replies from the owner on the reviews here are on positive reviews. Update: a different doctor acknowledged the hospital does have a contract with elecare. That is why every person on staff seems to push only that. Ogunmola doesn’t listen to anything the parents say. Dr. Ogunmola is a wonderful doctor that cares. He is very thorough and his staff is very warm. We have met with his PA also, and she is amazing! We had issues getting my sons formula ordered through insurance and the front desk and his nurses were very supportive to help this stressed mama! I was at ease knowing that my baby was getting the best treatment. I highly recommend him for your babies tummy issues! Dr. Ogunmola is a wonderful doctor that cares. I don’t even take my children to COOK’S hospital or any of their doctors anymore because of this doctor and his staff. I would give them -0 for the HORRIBLE TREATMENT AND EXPERIENCE THEY GAVE MY DAUGHTER AND I. I hate when I go places and they ask if I would like to donate to COOK’S. HECK NO I DON’T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Daughter was traumatized so much by this doctor and his staff that she didn’t trust doctors anymore, and nor did I especially because of this Establishment.. Him and his staff lied and didn’t have my daughter’s best interest in my mind or in plan. Every suggested treatment he had for her led to her being exposed to developing cancer at a young age or putting her on a liquid diet the rest of her life (she’s a teenager) REALLY!!!! They also attempted calling CPS BECAUSE I requested to ask the doctor some questions before starting the treatments that gave probabilities of cancer. So I advise any parent to be Leary of this doctor and his staff! I found my daughter another wonderful doctor who relaxed my daughter’s distrust in doctors!! There are good doctors and their staff out there, this establishment just isn’t one of them! I don’t even take my children to COOK’S hospital or any of their doctors anymore because of this doctor and his staff. Dr. Ogunmola was able to diagnose my daughter's Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome after 15 years of taking her to other doctors and never receiving answers. His treatment plan changed her life. We will be forever grateful.
