Dr. Neil F. Schiff

He’s arrogant and rude! No compassion whatsoever. His sidekick is great but always pushing a hearing test that my insurance doesn’t cover. Done with them! Going elsewhere. Stay out of Waterbury if you can. There’s many more good ENT doctors with a nicer disposition.

The worst doctor ever. did not find any solution of the problem. Didn’t do anything at all! Spent my money for nothing.

They billed $50 copays at services.. for procedures that I was then billed close to a 1000 and 500 for allergy testing and a endoscopy. If I had no insurance and paid out of pocket those are things that can be done for a couple hundred. It is standard to do a VOB prior to any procedure so a patient doesn't get stuck with an insane bill. Why do they ask for insurance information prior to first visit if they aren't going to use it? I have been there 3 Times each time I waited over an hour to be seen instead of having just one Person I had 2 They got My results called Me to go in paid my copay and got my results 3 Days later I got another call stating I didn't know all the results weren't in um how can You not know that ended up going back and paying another copay. The last time I ended up walking out. When You schedule Appointments maybe You shouldn't schedule so many when You say 10:30 then it's 10:30 I ended up walking out at 11:30. If I could rate Them a Zero I would They are not organized at all. 2 People and They couldn't get it right. Run don't walk from this Place. I have to start all over again because of Their Incompetence.

Good experience Dr and staff are very thorough

Dr. Schiff is everything that a dr. Is suppose to be. Beyond competent, beyond experienced, yet still maintaining a great bedside manner. Professional, down to earth, understanding and easy to talk to. Dr. Schiff corrected my deviated septum. before this surgery i didnt know what a true nights sleep was. Highly recommended. I also use their allergy specialist and I highly recommend them as well. All staff in this practice are professional and respectful. Again cant say enough good things about this practice. Amazing!!!! Dr. Schiff and his nurse Wendy were beyond excellent!!!!! I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a allergist. His bedside manner is wonderful. He answered all my questions and never once did I feel rushed.

Saw Dr Schiff for nosebleeds after having an ED doc cauterize the spot days before for uncontrolled bleeding. Wanted to make a relationships with a good ENT for the future. Dr Schiff was kind, gave good, sensible followup advice, explained everything, and said to come back as needed - just what we wanted. Office staff couldn't be nicer.

The final straw was I cancelled an appointment, then they left me a message confirming the appointment I had cancelled. I called back and cancelled again. They then billed me for a "No Show" and when I called to explain they blamed me for not getting the name of the person I spoke to. I was hesitant to reschedule with this doctor anyway and definitely won't be now.

Dr Schiff and his entire staff are beyond wonderful. Deb Mastrianni is awesome and all the nurses and audiologists are fabulous. I have Meniere's disease and he has been constantly open to trying anything that I bring to him - this is not an easy disease to treat or to live with - I am so thankful for all of their compassion.
