Dr. Bhattacharyya is the BEST ENT! He fixed my deviated septum 9 years ago. At my appointment to discuss surgery I told Dr. B. I was afraid to have my nose packed after surgery because I'm a little claustrophic. Dr. B listened to my concerns and found a way to make me more comfortable by using splints instead of packing material. Other doctors I had seen prior to Dr. B. just said sorry, packing is how it needs to be done! Dr. B came to me highly recommended and he didn't disappoint! He not only listens to his patients and explains things in a way that I can understand but also is always so prepared for his patients. I love that he prepares for my appointment by reading my chart reports from my other doctors so he actually knows everything that's going on with me. I feel that is an important piece to treating the whole person! Thanks, Dr. Bhattacharrya, you are the BEST and I have recommended you more than once to friends and family!

After spending two decades trying to treat my chronic sinus issues unsuccessfully, Dr. B has provided by FAR the best & most thorough care I've received in my life. After getting an Endoscopic Septoplasty with Dr. B, my life has completely changed. I have more energy, mental clarity, my breathing has improved, my sleeping has improved, and I haven't had one sinus infection after consistently having at minimum 4 debilitating infections per year. Beyond a successful surgery, Dr. B provides fantastic follow up care. His attention to detail in ensuring a successful longterm outcome is second to none. He truly cares about his patients and is extraordinarily knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. B to anyone struggling with their sinuses, truly lifechanging.

I am writing this today in tears (happy and grateful!) in hopes of helping, even one person, find relief for their sinus issues from the best ENT anyone could hope to find. I first went to Dr. Bhattacharyya in tears (sad and frustrated), practically begging him for help and he has absolutely come through. My story is that I had been seeing a different ENT who had operated on me twice in 18 years. After the second surgery, I began having infection after infection for almost a year and a half. The doctor had no ideas why and just kept prescribing me antibiotics. About a week after finishing a prescription, I would start coming down with another. The doctor called me a "medical mystery". Dr. Bhattacharyya immediately knew where to begin to help me. He set up a regimen with the nasal rinse that included a compound antibiotic and an anti inflammatory liquid. He clearly set my expectations that it may take a while for me to feel totally better, and there was a possibility of more surgery. But, he let me know that he was in this with me. I saw him every six weeks, and then every three months as I improved. At my last appointment, he upped me to four months and was thrilled with my progress. I cannot begin to express the difference Dr. Bhattacharyya has made in my quality of life. His skills and technology are the most up to date. In addition, he is kind and a good listener. He explains everything thoroughly and answers all my questions. I told him that he was my hero!

I chose him based on the reviews, but after more thorough analysis, there are a bunch of 5-star reviews at a fairly regular cadence during the course of a year -- these are undoubtedly fake and was used by him to make him look better. Another ENT surgeon who knew him earlier in his career said he is not a very good surgeon. He did a septoplasty that was supposed to make my breathing better at night. Now my breathing is much worse - in the day as well. I can barely pass air through one of my nostrils. In the post-surgery appointment, he claimed success and said it was such a great improvement! Incredibly insulting for me since I'm now suffering from his terrible job.

He is not only the best ENT and surgeon he is an amazing doctor. He listens, he cares, he is so flexible and helpful. I can’t say enough about him. As a medical professional myself, I am so delighted that we have doctors like him still practicing in these difficult times of ever changing medicine

I went to Dr. Bhattacharyya for a second opinion after having severe side effects after my surgery. I wish he was my original surgeon. Dr. Bhattacharyya could actually explain my symptoms in detail and why I was feeling the way I did. My original surgeon could not. I would trust this guy on any sinus issues.

Doctor Neil Bhattacharyya is the definition of professionalism. He was able to assist me with a severe deviated septum. I would highly recommended him to anyone seeking to have this procedure performed.

This is a rather overdue review, but I was looking up Dr. Bhattacharyya's contact information to recommend him to someone, and realized I had never written a review, and I wanted to rectify that because it was from reading reviews that I decided to see Dr. Bhattacharyya. A couple of years ago my sinus was severely infected as a complication of dental surgery which, in spite of my insistence that something was wrong, had been missed by my dentist and allowed to fester for months. By the time I saw Dr. Bhattacharyya I was not only in pain, but stressed and lacking trust in medical practitioners as a result of my experience. I made an appointment to see Dr. Bhattacharyya for a second opinion, but after meeting with him, both my daughter (who accompanied me) and I felt that we wanted him to perform the surgery, even though it meant traveling to Boston from Western Mass. During my appointment, Dr. Bhattacharyya took the time to answer all of my questions, patiently and thoroughly, and gave us a sense of confidence in his abilities. This feeling of confidence and of being listened to was extremely important because of the negative experience I'd had with my oral surgery. The surgery went well, I experienced very little pain post-surgery, and I healed surprisingly quickly. Though I am still having issues at the dental site, I've experienced no further sinus problems. I'm very grateful to Dr. Bhattacharyya for his skill and kindness (and have just recommended him highly to my daughter's partner who has sinus problems.) I would also like to mention that during the span of months when I saw Dr. Bhattacharyya for surgery and follow-ups, I had several occasions to speak with two pleasant, conscientious assistants whom I never met (one was named Susan, I believe), who also were knowledgeable and great with follow-up, making contacting the office a stress-free experience. I had a failed sinus surgery with a provider at my local hospital, then went for a 2nd opinion with another doctor at Mass Eye and Ear and had another awful experience. So I did my research and found Dr. Bhattacharyya, I'm so happy I did! He and his team are amazing to say the least! He is always on time, takes the time to listen to what I have to say and explains things to me so I understand. He truly cares and is great at what he does. He did a sinus revision surgery on me in June and it went great and relieved my pain. I still follow with him closely and will eventually need another corrective procedure. I should add that I am a nurse and have worked in healthcare for 17 years as well as have taken care of multiple family members. With that being said I have worked with a lot of healthcare providers and Dr. Bhattacharyya is truly one of the best. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an ENT! I strongly recommend Dr. Bhattacharyya to anyone in need of sinus surgery. After being referred to him by my community ENT (who preferred I seek more specialized care) I was able to obtain an appointment within a month. The office is run very smoothly and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes past my appointment time to see the doctor. As for the doctor himself, he is highly professional. He was patient, clearly communicative and reassuring during my preop visit. Surgery was uneventful (the best kind!) and many of the staff at the surgery center made a point to say complimentary things about Dr, Bhattacharyya to me. I had very little postop pain, no complications and my preop symptoms have resolved entirely. Despite my positive outcome Dr. Bhattacharyya still has a plan to follow up with me regularly to be sure my sinus remains clear. Dr. B was warm, caring and very knowledgeable about my issue and concerns. He was direct and comforting in answering all my questions.

Dr. Bhattacharyya was extremely patient and thorough in his explanation of a sinus system using color charts of a normal system. He then was able to attach a camera to a scope and display my sinus system on a screen while explaining everything in detail. He was very meticulous and patient in describing what he needed for our next visit. This is the best patient care I have ever experienced.

Dr. Bhattacharyya is an eminent expert in his field. I highly recommend him for any Sinus problem.

From start to finish, pure professionalism, skill, and top-notch communication. I had septoplasty surgery and it was grade A+ outcome. HIGHLY recommend !

I have had 2 very successful nasal polyp surgeries with Dr. B over a 11yr. period. It has been 4 years since the last surgery. Dr. check both sinus cavities with his scope. Both were clear. He recommended a follow up appointment in 1 year.

Dr. Bhattacharya is a great doctor. I had sinus surgery with him and so did my 2 children. My friends were in disbelief when they saw me a few days after my sinus surgery and was almost completely recovered except for some minor congestion. My experience was absolutely excellent and his staff is outstanding and kind. I trust him with my family members.

I have had seen several specialists before Dr. Bhattacharyya. He was the first to review my scans with me, inform me what I was looking at and what the procedures would look like to correct the issues. The day of surgery and thereafter I cannot speak more highly of the not only the nurses, but the limited swelling and no visible bruising. He is HIGHLY recommended not only because he skillful at what he does, but is cognizant in not creating any other scar tissue that others do not when under the knife. We have full confidence in Dr B. I am an OR nurse and my sister did not listen to me and had sinus surgery and septum at her local hospital referred by her PCP. Of course, that ENT could not clear out all the polps and disease, and he told her should would need another surgery in 8 weeks! I forced her to see Dr B after several of my workmates recommended him. He saw my sister, did her surgery, and in a single day surgery she is completely clear and doing great. He is the best.

My college age daughter had 2 surgeries in 18 months for her sinus problems, in Boston. When they told her she needed a third surgery 6 months later, I started to cry. I asked around to my physician friends and they suggested a second opinion from Dr. Bhattacharya. He looked over her records and he examined her with several different scopes in the office. He identified the cause of her problem. He fixed her problem with a minimally invasive surgery and she is finally well again.

I'm a singer who has suffered from sinus infections for YEARS. I was getting about 3-5 a year and it was taking a toll on my job. A CT scan showed I had a severely deviated septum which required surgery, which I had in June 2017 and it has changed my life! Dr. Bhattacharyya addressed all of my questions & concerns and researched to the best way to not negatively affect my voice. I had ZERO pain after surgery, didn't even have to take a Tylenol! Thank you Dr. Bhattacharyya for saving my voice! :)

Impeccably on time. Bhattacharyya was very clear in explaining problems, answering any questions. He's very thorough and has a nice, calm, patient manner. Dr. Bhattacharyya saved my nose and breathing. I was in bad shape with polyps and a deviated septum. Other doctors said my case was too severe for them so they sent me to him. He FIXED me. My husband and I have recommended him to many of our friends. \Best of Boston!

I need to update my review. While I still respect Dr. B and feel that your best health is his intension, there is something I suffer greatly from daily and may for my years (if not the rest of my life), as a result of his involvement. You must watch what is prescribed and be VERY vigilant about what Dr. B suggests or even insists upon. I declined the steroids but I was prescribed the group of antibiotics ( fluoroquinolone) that has ruined my health and caused me daily pain and suffering.

The worst service I ever had from doctor and office. The office staff is terrible and they don't care about returning calls. It took me 3 month to wait for an appointment, after that my only option was surgery. After all the tests, waste of time and money they wont book my surgery until 5 month ahead because the doctor is too busy for his patients. The office staff is very rude and lie that they don't receive my msgs. If I treated a clients like this in my profession, I would've been fired.
