Dr. Nathaniel Sutain

Dr sutain listened to my concerns, and gave me as course of treatment.

Dr Sutain and his staff are very professional and friendly in Clark and in the Linden surgical center .. Dr. Sutain was very attentive to my health concerns and needs .. he’s been helping me with my back and neck issues for sometime.I would recommend him for any orthopedic issues …

Dr. Sutain is outgoing and friendly and always goes out of his way to make sure I feel great. Only doctor I will see. I don’t understand the negative reviews as the Dr. has treated myself and my parents with care and respect.

My husband is currently being treated by this doctor. My husband sustained an injury at the end of May and was being seen by an urgent care his company referred him to for 2 months. He received no relief from the treatment regimen that was given to him. My family and I are long standing patients with UCOG. So, I sought help for my husband with this doctor (Sutain). He started off as a respectful and caring doctor. However, it quickly became clear just how corrupt and unethical he truly is. He gave my husband two injections and stated several times that my husband had a need for surgery. At my husbands most recent appointment on 11/19, he changed his entire view on my husband’s diagnosis. It’s appalling that a doctor who takes an oath to protect and advocate for their patient, would behave in such an unethical manner. It doesn’t matter if this is a workers compensation patient. His job is to take care of the patient NOT the insurance company.

The experience with Dr. Sutain has to be one of the worst I have ever had with a doctor. I would give zero stars if I could. I brought my mother in because of extreme pain, because he is billed as a pain specialist. We had previously seen Dr. Rojer in the same office and he suggested seeing Dr. Sutain. He was dismissive, rude, and not helpful at all. He did not suggest options (surgery is out of the question) and barely responded to my questions. He ignored my mother (the patient) and simply walked out of the room leaving us with no options or suggestions for next steps. In my opinion, this is no way for any doctor to treat any patient. Like a few other reviewers, I do not understand the 5 star reviews, unless he has a totally different persona with some patients.

Would not recommend him or the linden office was told a year ago I have arthritis in my neck was told the office will not be open for another 2 months and he will be back in touch with me never got a call never got a text never got nothing and it's a year later so I do not recommend him at all

I agree with the previous person who said that Dr. Sutain spends less than 5 minutes with you. I have been seeing Dr. Sutain for nearly a year during which time he has been trying various treatments with little success. He can be very nice and down to earth but now when my lumbar back MRI was worse he acted dismayed and just walked out of the exam room.. I was stunned because he just left me there. I went out and was no where to be seen! I know theres noting left for me but serious surgery, but he seemed upset so how does that make me feel?? I had left him before because of his temperament, this last visit was very upsetting. There's nothing more he came do for me except the pain meds. but the average visit is 5 minutes. Not worth driving to the office.

I am honestly stunned at the positive reviews here. I was referred to Dr. Sutain, and was asked repeatedly "what I was doing there." I was basically dismissed - the doctor was condescending and took less than 5 minutes to talk with me. I was also told that "I seemed strong and wasn't peeing all over myself, sooo...". Wow, thanks doc. I guess to be taken seriously I'll give that a go next time! I was so stunned and upset by this doctor's behavior I will NEVER go back nor will I recommend!

Dr. Sutain has to be the best doctor ever! He makes you feel so welcome when you come in. His caring nature makes you feel better even when you come in with pain. He tries to remember something about you and connects with you in a personal level instead of the typical Doctor-patient relationship. The difference between Dr.Sutain and other doctors is that he cares about his patients well being and he absolutely loves caring for others.
