the absolute WORST doctor's office i've ever dealt with. 3 phone calls in the past 5 days, never answered by any staff, each was directed to their answering service, who assured me that the messages were delivered to the doctor's office. no return phone calls ever. most disrespectful and non-professional doctor i've ever encountered. should have his license revoked! would give NEGATIVE stars but guideline does not allow less than 1 star

I was a patient of Dr. Chediak for several years. He was always very good. However, I moved and have a new doctor and have been requesting my sleep study for over 3 months- faxed a written request and his office still has not cooperated. His office always has an answering service. My only complaint over the years was that in his waiting room you were forced to endure the lies on Fox “news” which was so outrageous in itself. The office staff still has not sent my new doctor the original sleep study. This is inexcusable at this point.

I have seen Dr. Chediak for well over 20 years. He diagnosed me with sleep apnea after a sleep study. He has followed me ever since. He is always caring and professional. I gladly travel the distance to see Dr. Chediak in Boca Raton. His office staff has been nothing but helpful, courteous and kind. I recommend him highly if you have insomnia or sleep issues. I was very happy with Dr. Chediak when I was his patient. I moved and have been unable to have my sleep study sent to my new doctor. Would have given a higher rating but his office staff has been uncooperative in meeting my needs now. Am not only disappointed but just can’t believe that medical professionals would make it so impossible to receive needed treatment just because I am no longer seeing this physician.

His office staff is RUDE and INADEQUATE. I was sent to his office by a cardiologist in the same building. When I went into the office the receptionist told me that she cannot talk to me because I do not have an appointment and that I need to call for an appointment. I went to the parking lot and called from my cell phone. She told me that she could not talk to me at that time and to call back. When I called back she offered me an appointment for December 8. I told her that I could not make that date since I already had appointments scheduled for that day. She offered me today, Dec. 16 at 9 AM. When I went there today she told me that my appointment was last week. She said that since I did not have an appointment today I could fill out the paperwork but she did not know if the doctor could see me. I said that I would not fill out the paperwork unless I knew that I was going to be seen. She said that she did not know if the doctor could see me. RUDE, MISMANAGEMENT BY OFFICE.

Saw physician today for first time. Very knowledgeable and up to date on current treatments for Restless Leg Syndrome . Office staff very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend!

Had been a patient for many years and attempted to return after years of absence. Told to leave number as my file was in storage. After waiting 10 days for return call, called office again and was told I would have to wait again to be called. I am certain this issue is office staff related as the Doctor most likely never gave these instructions. Looking for new Doctor with less annoying rules and staff The shame of it is that the Doctor does not even know his staff is costing him business. He is a terrific Doctor and deserves a much better group of people answering the telephone.

Dr. Chediak used to be kinder and have a more personal relationship with his patients. Even his staff was better and nicer.....they would call u back and if u needed to speak to him personally he would call u or come to the phone if he wasn't busy. Now he literally hides from his patients.....I went to see him and he was right there and said hello to me and everything but then he went to the back room......I told the lady there in the office that I wanted to speak to him cuz she was giving me a hard time and she told me that he was not there that he was with a patient when I just saw him there and then he went and walked right passed her.... clearly he was free and did not want to speak with me!!! Called to request an appointment with Dr. Chediak who was HIGHLY regarded and referred by a thought leader in the field. Shared high accolades about Dr. Chediak as a national and one of the few specialized sleep medicine physicians in Florida. I spoke to Jennifer in office. Sounded like she was heavily sedated on Valium. Coldly stated the office only takes Medicare ( no profit on commercial). I left her a nice message to convey to MD and didn’t listen to anything I said. Couldn’t care less about the patient. Up until last year I would have given more stars for Dr. Chediak. I always thought of him as a good doctor, however, being a good doctor is more than knowledge and treating a patient. I had a really bad experience trying to get a prescription written which entailed about 15-20 phone calls. It took four days to finally get it. This has to do with his office staff who, in my opinion were incompetent. I left about 5+ messages with them to please have Dr. Chediak call me. I had another sleep problem to ask him about. He never called me back so I waited for my next scheduled appointment months in the future. At the end of my checkup with him I mentioned I had something to discuss with him. I never got to say another word before he started blasting me about causing so much trouble and if he had any more problems he would not treat me again. I thought his behavior was incredibly unprofessional and rude. He never let me explain my side of the problem. He than sent me a letter saying he was discharging me as a patient. His office staff also never filed 4 claims to my secondary insurance and said I owed nearly $300 dating back to Feb. 2015. Nothing was ever mentioned about this when I was leaving for the last time. They did file the claim for my last visit so I guess they know how. They want me to pay, however, they refuse to file the claims. And the doctor thinks I am the cause of the problem...he should pay more attention to his office staff instead of using his time to be rude and mistreating his patients. When describing Doctor Chediak I run out of superlatives, he is truly well educated kind, friendly and professional. So many Drs. are under pressure to get you in and out but Dr. Chediak takes all the time you need. I have had to talk to him about issues that other Drs. may judge but not this Doctor. he is truly a rare find.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea over 25 years ago and have seen numerous specialists over the years. After visiting Dr Chediak for the first time recently, I realized how superficial all my previous Doctors were. As a person and a knowledgeable Doctor you couldn’t find anyone better.

Dr. would not help me or return my phone calls to help with CPAP issues. That was the main reason I went to see this doctor to begin with. I left messages numerous times and all but one was ignored and answered incorrectly . Don't expect this doctor to respond to your problems.

I called for an appointment and was told they only accept Medicare patients. Without explanation, that sounds suspicious as to the validity of his practice

My insurance changed to one that Dr. Chediak does not accept; it happens, however, it was changed to a PPO with an 80% out of network benefit. Now I understand that MD’s normally charge more than what Insurance companies allow for out of network. I asked if I could use my out of network benefits, and then be balance billed for the remainder. I was told flatly “no.“ When asked how much his private pay fees were, I pwas told he does not accept private pay! Who doesn’t accept cash? When I asked for a referral, I was met with rudeness and no one has called back with a referral. I had always liked and respected doctor Chediak, and thought he genuinely cared about his patients, but now the true colors have come out.I am left with a CPAP machine that does not work. There is also no reason for his staff to be so rude, I’m the one that should be upset yet I was nothing but polite. It’s not an unreasonable expectation to at least receive a referral under these circumstances. It’s his prerogative to accept whatever insurance he chooses, but he can at least make.a referral. If the issue isn’t resolved quickly, AHCA, the AMA and his certification board will be notified. The most knowledgeable doctor concerning sleep apnea. Great person to speak speak with; outstanding in providing me with help and info.

Dr. Chediak is a wonderful doctor. I have been going to him for several years and find him extremely knowledgeable, caring and concerned. He has a kind, gentle way about him, and he gives you all the time you need, never rushing you. There are many doctors closer, but I happily make the trip up to Boca to see Dr. Chediak.

I've been with Sr Chediak over 20 years before insurance Co regonized CPAP MACHINES being held to my avoiding heart attacks and my passing from other causes of heart desease . My apnea has been treated by CPAP NOW. There's not reason to avoid getting one immediately . My CPAP has traveled all over the world allowing me to get a decent nights sleep . Thanks Dr Chediak . I was very impressed with Dr. Chediak. A fine professional: A very experienced and expert doctor. He listened intently and asked questions about my old history of a prior sleep study decades ago, and now my recent heart diagnosis with the danger of sleep problems. I came in worried, and wary of a C-Pap, but In his respectful and warm presence, I felt "in good hands." The overnight sleep study was very professional and he explained the findings thoroughly. I'm pleased with the outcome.

My first visit was satisfactory. Doctor Chediak was wonderful and extremely helpful. He was recommended by a family member of mine. Even though Dr. Chediak did not take my insurance, I utilized his services. However, when my CPAP machine ceased working, I contacted Dr. Chediak's office, since the vendor One Home Care of Miramar was most unhelpful. I contacted Dr. Chediak's office late last week. The Office Staff (including Sheila) mentioned that I had to make another appointment to be seen by Dr. Chediak, since I was last seen by the doctor in 2015. I was not happy about that since it would involve out of pocket, uninsured costs. The office never called me back, despite my daily calls. Yesterday, I told the office staff that I would utilize another doctor if I did not receive a call back about making an appointment. Still no call. I made an appointment with another doctor in Fort Lauderdale who takes my insurance. The process was painless. While I would give Dr. Chediak high marks, Sheila and the rest of the office staff deserve one star and that's being kind! My first visit was satisfactory. IMy husband passed away in January and I couldn't sleep. I called for an appt to help me sleep. My answer was they'd have to speak to the dr. I thought that was very strange. They said that they'd have to ask the dr. Huh??? Just give me an appt!! They called me back and said that chediak said he'd see me at my next appt. I said did he mean he thought it was ok for me not to sleep until May?? The next week I called and asked to have chediak call me to discuss the matter. I never heard from him

I've read some of the negative reviews...and to be honest I've had nothing but very positive experiences with the Doctor as well as his staff...especially the sleep study analyy

To be honest, I still have not seen Dr Chediak, nor will I. The first available appt was 2 months out. The day before my appt I received four calls total from 2 different numbers, neither of which was the office line I had originally contacted. The first three left no messages. The last left a message saying that my appointment was cancelled because I had not confirmed the earlier calls. When I called the next day, they said it was standard practice and offered a new appt 3 months out

Dr. Chediak's office is unprofessional, arrogant and rude- Specifically Shiela. It's almost like it is her mission to run the practice into the toilet. The sad part is that, Dr. Chediak allows her behaviors to happen. I am disgusted, and have found that most of the complaints found online are centered around his staff. SHAME ON YOU NATALIO...
