Nabil Ahmad

I visited Dr Ahmad when he was at the shelby Atrium Neurology. I have been systemic sarcoidosis with especially in my brain and in my central nervous system and peripheral nerves. I've had terribly worrisome symptoms that had me a nervous wreck. Dr Ahmad was extremely thorough and did everything that I ask of him, including an E.M.G.. which I haven't been able to get any of my past neurologist to do. Unfortunately he is not very familiar with my illness as it is very rare given how severe my disease is. He actually referred me to a so called specialist in the realm of my affliction and he wants me to see a whole team of Dr's but he won't renew my remicade infusion which he said was keeping me alive but is deferring it to a rheumatologist which I haven't been able to meet yet. I've been really dizzy and nauseated and not up to a long drive past Charlotte. My disease causes me to have impared cognition , terrible brain fog , memory loss and some days I can't even walk or talk or swallow food. Anyhow I'm going to try to get back in with Dr Nabil Ahmad. Whether he's a specialist with my disease he did more for me than any other neurologist I've had in the past 5 years. I'm sure he would help me get back on remicade. Seeing that's what has helped me survive and off of palative care . I'm in no way cured when I'm on it but it does make a night and day difference in my mental health. So Dr Ahmad if you happen to read this , I'm advocating on my behalf to come back under your care I visited Dr Ahmad when he was at the shelby Atrium Neurology. I adore Dr Ahmed , he diagnosed me with RSD 6 years ago. Now I need him again. Need to schedule and appointment soon.

I visited him a year ago he was suppose to schedule tests never did called his office numerous times and never got back to me. Now a year later still having problems and a new neurologist because I am tired of being put on the back burner. Didn’t do anything at office visit except ask questions that are clearly in my record and was noted from my hospital bad bed side manor and believe me I have seen my fair share of specialists. I would give zero stars if I could not friendly. He was not looking for answers.

Dr Ahmad took over my husbands care after Dr Myers left. We have been so pleased with him! He is thorough and listens to our concerns! He is very knowledgeable about epilepsy which we appreciate! Would reccomend him to anyone

He has amazing knowledge but communicates with the best bed side manner I have ever experienced. I went in and he started telling me all the symptoms I was having rather than me telling him. It was an amazing experience. He explained everything so thoroughly, told me what to expect and gave me options for improvement. I am very grateful that I found him. I went today and Dr. Ahmad was absolutely the best neurologist I have ever seen. He answered all my questions and went over all options with me and he spent time in there until we figured out the solution. If you ever need a neurologist this man is a great one. I eoulw recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Ahmad understands your problems and takes his time with you epilepsy.

Everytime I called (5 times) it took over 9 minutes for someone to answer the phone. On the last day, when I called 3 times and their receptionist finally answered the phone, after holding for so long, she acted like she could not hear me and hung up. She said hello, hello twice real fast and then just hung up on me. I had no problem with anyone else hearing me when I called them that morning. Who wants a doctor you can't ever get thru to?

Dr. Amhad spends a lot of time with his patients to make sure that all of your questions are answered. Sometimes he knows what you are going to ask and will answer before you ask.
