I have been seeing her for almost a year. I absolutely love her!! I was a patient with another doctor in her practice and he ignored all of my symptoms and said I don’t have an autoimmune disease and that it was just my fibromyalgia. I went a few years without any treatment because of him. She was able to figure out that I have seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis. I’m finally going to get the right treatment because of her!! Dr. Machimada is an incredible doctor! She cares about her patients immensely! She is thorough and listens to every little detail! I have been her patient for several years and actually look forward to seeing her on my next visit. She is very knowledgeable and detailed!

Dr M is the best she was my Dr for years until she moved to Greenville !!! I wish she was still in Spartanburg !!! ????

My experience has always been positive and complete. The staff has also been friendly. She is very prompt when using My Chart as a means of communication

I visited Dr Machimada to learn about symptoms related to an autoimmune disease. She was very interested in my situation, a gregarious lady, and it was an enjoyable visit. Very smart, very professional and I would highly recommend .

All she ever did was squeeze all my joints every time I went and charged me several hundred dollars to do it. All she resolved was her bills being paid, not my ailments.

She is very thorough and always gets back to me if I have a problem. She is very caring and really wants to help .

I found Dr Machimada pleasant and kind. Taking her time to examine me and asking questions. I know that one size does not fit all but I found her to be very caring and answered all my questions and concerns. She is a true professional. Im still working with her to determine my best options for my treatment. A compassionate Doctor I would highly reccomend.

Disheartening to say the least. Totally unsympathetic. Her first words to me without even introducing herself was “we don’t give pain medication here” I said I never asked you for any nor was I going too! HELLO to you too. Treated me like a drug addict. She tried to switch my medication regiment because she disagreed with my current doctors diagnosis and the only reason why I was transferring care was because my doctor was in another state and traveling was becoming too difficult. I left her office ready to cry and extremely upset at her unprofessional, unsympathetic conduct. I do not need a doctor to give me the warm and fuzzies but do expect them to treat me with the same respect they are receiving from me and with her this was not the case. She needs to learn positive bedside manner. Just because you can’t see a persons pain with your own eyes does not mean it’s not occurring. Some suffer silently, some are very vocal unless you learn your pt you won’t know which one happen to be.

Careless/ cold blooded and don’t care to listen to her patients. If you think that’s the doctor you need with your arthritis needs go for it. I’m never ever coming back to her. Office personnel is great.

Dr. Machimada is one of the best doctors I have been to in a very long time. She is very thorough, personable and it is clear she cares about her patients well-being.

Very nice and knowledgeable. Gave me a prescription that worked great after many failed attempts.

I was 42 years old and in intense pain daily to the point I couldn't clean my house or play with my kids. She was very unsympathetic to my situation and compared it to her hair going gray early. She gave me a cream that didn't help and sent me on my way. Nothing about pain management. Nothing about keeping arthritis from progressing. Nothing about support group for this diagnosis. Just pure coldness.

Her nurse is condescending. Phone messages are not returned. When you complain they are adamant that they left a detailed message on my phone. I’m never away from my phone since I’m not mobile. The doctor herself is very forceful. She ask rapid fire questions then immediately pressures me for an answer. Every appointment we waste time going back over basic information that should be in the computer. She should review my file before hand and be familiar!

I absolutely love Dr Machimada ! She is so caring and takes time to listen and her examinations are thorough and complete. She is sweet and kind . Love love her. I would recommend her to anyone !

She is the best. Her examinations are thorough and she listens to you about your problems. I would not go to another Rheumatologist.

I suffer with horrible pain. The only thing she ever did to help is give me anti inflammatory. Not even a referral to a pain management office. I've never taken pain medication in my life and felt like a drug addict. She never cared how horrible I suffered.

SHE TAKES HER TIME WITH YOU AND REALLY LISTENS. SHE IS VERY CLEAR ON HER INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOU AND IS ALWAYS HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAVE. SHE IS FANTASTIC! SINCE GOING TO HER MY NUMBER HAVE COME DOWN FROM BEING COMPLETELY OFF THE CHART TO MIDLEVELS ON THE CHART & I AM SO MUCH BETTER. I FEEL 53 AGAIN AND NOT 95 YEARS OLD ANY MORE, WHICH IS HOW I WAS FEELING BEFORE. I CANNOT IMAGINE A BETTER MORE CARING DOCTOR. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HER.

Dr.is through and appointment is on time. Her nurse is the BEST!
