Had a rhinoplasty with Dr.Gowda at the Novi location in June 2022 and am very satisfied with my results! I had been to multiple surgeons before meeting Dr.Gowda but nobody felt right. After my consultation I felt very comfortable with my decision to go forward with my surgery at this location. He was the only surgeon I met with that actually took the time to walk through the steps of pre/post op care and the steps of the rhinoplasty itself. All of the staff was amazing, and Melissa was always so nice and comfortable to talk to.

Do not waste your time! I went in and very clearly mentioned to Dr. Gowda and his Nurse Melissa. I wanted a quote on all areas affected from my weight loss surgery. I paid $75 for this! They only quoted me 3 of 4 areas. Now they want me to make yet another appointment so they can give me the quote I already paid for.

For years I wanted to have my face done. Gravity and age left me with a face that looked tired and mad all the time. I felt dragged down and worn out. Finally, I decided that it was time for me and I booked an appointment for the works. It was the best decision I have ever made. I feel so much better about my face and have been told by many people that I look 15-20 years younger. Dr. Gowda is truly a gifted doctor. I cannot explain how happy I am with the results! I would HIGHLY recommend him and have already referred many people to him. I would also like to mention how nice EVERYONE in the office is. They really make you feel welcome and take such good care of you. Dr. Gowda is one of the nicest, most compassionate, and caring doctors I have ever known. He is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. If you are thinking of having anything done, you can trust that he is the perfect doctor. You will not be disappointed! Words will never be able to say how thankful and blessed to have found Dr. Gowda and his staff. Dr. Gowda is not only an amazing surgeon he is also and amazing man. He truly cares about you and wants you to be happy. He takes his time with you. You will never feel like you are rushed and not important. Dr. Gowda had his work cut out with me. I had my consult at the Novi office just a week ago. Scheduling and initial office visit: I had to change my appointment last minute and Rebecca was extremely accommodating and understanding on the phone. Super friendly and welcoming. Arrived at the office was greeted by Rebecca, who was again extremely friendly and welcoming, which helped since I was nervous. Was sent to a room with one of the surgical nurses, Chloe. She took her time answering all my questions. Was very knowledgeable and took her time with me. I had a great on of questions. Shortly after Dr. Gowda and Melissa came in to talk about the procedures I was interested in. They both treated me like I was the only patient in the building. Extremely friendly, warm, funny and patient. Melissa was amazing, fantastic, wonderful. She was extremely patient with me. I called a few times after the appointment and she took my calls right away. Remember who I was and my complete situation. Extremely responsive. I strongly recommend the Novi office. It is difficult not to gush about the quality of my recent experience at Dr. Gowda's office. I wanted to pursue breast surgery for the past 15 years and only found myself in a position to do so during the past year. Dr. Gowda and his wonderful staff provided excellent services for my recent surgery- I genuinely could not be happier with my choice of surgeon and team. Along with his surgical skills, Dr. Gowda's bedside manners were top notch and I felt comfortable and confident in his abilities throughout each stage of the process. Melissa, the surgical coordinator, is fantastic to work with and has been hugely helpful both pre and post-op. Her experience, concern for patient care, breadth and depth of knowledge further reinforced my satisfaction with my decision. The front staff has also been very helpful and have answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly- Rebecca was very pleasant to work with. Last but not least, Julie, the OR nurse, was calm, quick and competent and helped make the process of getting into the OR as smooth as possible. Not to mention, she was so nice! Dr. Gowda is a legend! He was the first and only surgeon that I had consulted with after receiving a strong recommendation from a successful podiatric surgeon. I had a rhino/septoplasty with inferior turbinate resection performed, and I am happy to have chosen Dr. Gowda. He has years of experience and knows what should/can be done to achieve a desirable outcome. I thought a nostril reduction was necessary; however, I am EXTREMELY grateful that he did not agree! I am a little over 6 months post-op and trust me, if I'm satisfied, that speaks volumes. (Hope I didn't drive you too crazy, Dr. Gowda lol!) The staff at his office are also phenomenal. Melissa is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and has great bedside manners. Dr Gowda is an artist. He is meticulous in his work and will not stop until he gets the look he wants. He did my eye lift, breast lift and liposuction. I am very pleased with his work and I tell everyone about him! His staff are also so friendly and helpful.

I have had 2 procedures with Dr. Gowda, one for my stomach and one for my neck. Dr. Gowda not only did an exceptional job. He was very through and meticulous with each procedure. He not only took time to explain the procedure but he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything he was going to do. Another reason I love Dr. Gowda is his amazing staff that go above and beyond to be so nice and make sure you are taken care of from beginning to end with the surgical process. I had an appt with Kelly for options regarding facial wrinkles and skin laxity. She assessed my skin, listened to all of my concerns and helped me decide with the different types of laser. I had my CO2 laser done with Kelly and the results were fantastic!!!! I felt very comfortable having her do it with all of her experience and her years teaching laser. She told me what to expect, both during the procedure and with downtime. Dr. Gowda also came in during my procedure and check up to see the progress. I am so happy with the results! My skin hasn’t looked this smooth or young in years. I trust Kelly with all of my skin concerns!

My plastic surgery experience with Dr. Mune Gowda was not good. There were 2 big issues. One was the lack of communication with me. The other was my being unhappy with his finished product. I had facial fat-grafting, for example, which came out uneven. I’ve had to get face fillers to compensate for the difference. I would’ve made a more informed decision about doing this procedure, had I been realistically advised about this possibility. No communication. After face surgery, I tried to describe the pain I had, due to an incision problem. I felt dismissed. No communication. Face surgery is an expensive investment. It’s also a major physical ordeal to not be taken through the entire process, in an effective 2 way communication. If you don’t have complications, you might be OK as a patient here. However, If you do, be forwarned.

I go to Dr.Gowda office for Chemical Peel and/or Hydro facials. His staff who performs these procedures at Novi seems to be temporary. If you go after 3-4 months , previous staff member wont be there and someone else will perform the service. Janet is THE BEST. I can not recommend her enough, she needs more that 5 stars. So good at what she does and educates you on how to keep your skin clear and in great condition. I always look forward to seeing her!

I had my first procedure with Dr Gowda 20 years ago, and my last (FX laser), two years ago. I so recommend this kind, caring, skilled doctor. Dr Gowda is a perfectionist, which is what I want in a surgeon. He has always been honest about expected outcomes, and has even advised against procedures he did not think would benefit me. Thanks to Dr Gowda's skilled hands, I have a youthful, NATURAL look. No one would guess what I've had done, because there is nothing distorted looking about his work. I believe he takes each person's outcome personally, and takes pride when you are happy. My last procedure was the face FX laser, and I was 63. Dr Gowda did the procedure in his Novi surgical suite. I went in for a neck lift and CO2 laser on my face. I was under much longer than I anticipated. However, Dr. Gowda would not state how long, earlier. He takes his time to do a fine job. I like his gentle manner. It’s not the kind of office where you go in and out in a few hours like a factory. Since it was a whole day, the anesthesiologist gets a big check that the patient leaves blank to fill out. When the healing process took place, Dr. Gowda always talked to me on the phone or had me come in. He took very good care of me during my healing process. Melissa was my go to nurse. She answered ALL my questions and concerns before and after. The results- exactly what I hoped for- natural and well rested look. I didn’t want a complete face lift because I still wanted to look natural and mostly- look like me (but better). I’m very happy with the results. Top of his game, attention to detail. Each and every staff member is exceptional down to the front desk. He cares for his patients and his work shows. I'm ecstatic with my results at 62 years old, on my neck lift and eyes. He cares and so trusting...HE went over and above it was not only about pleasing me. I went to him for a rhinoplasty and it didn’t turned out like we discussed. It’s been two years since my surgery and I still have my right nostril swollen . My nose looks crroked and I would need a second surgery. I paid 6000$ for job half done.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Gowda and his entire staff, to do them justice. I had rhinoplasty on 5/3/19 and I'm well on wy way for a good recovery. After spending over 6 hrs on my surgery, I wouldn't hesitate in making Dr Gowda the first choice on any procedure that he practices.

I have had two procedures done by Dr. Gowda. The first being a scar revision in September of 2018 (C-section scar that was cut open 5 times for two births and three hernia repairs). I had what I called a “ridge” or “cliff” and it’s all I saw when I looked down. The results are AMAZING! The second procedure, done just a few hours ago, was liposuction of my thighs. Dr. Gowda is so very passionate and truly treats me as an individual and not “just another patient”. He cares about his patients and his work. The entire staff makes your experience pleasant. Nurse Melissa is great. She did my pre-op appointment and was my nurse this morning for my procedure. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much at 6:15am than I did today. I’ve read some of the other reviews and have seen comments about the wait time. You know, though that can sometimes be frustrating, when it comes to being your turn, Dr. Gowda takes his time with you, which explains whole heartedly his compassion toward his patience. I’ve been to too many doctors who always seem to be in a hurry to get out of the room after you’ve waited past your appointment time (because seriously, when don’t you?) to see them. Just a check up today after neck and eye surgery. Had to wait over an hour after appt schedule time. Once in Dr Gowda is very attentive.

I have worked in an OR for over 20 years and have had the opportunity to observe some great surgeons. Dr Gowda is in a league of his own- truly AMAZING!!!! He performed an abdominoplasy, liposuction of abdomen, and fat injections to my buttocks (truly a body sculpting!). The results are beyond my expectations. I have a flat tummy, gorgeously tiny waist, and rounder well-defined buttocks. I had the procedure in his office OR which was extremely comfortable with exceptional care by all. That night i stayed at the nearby hotel and Dr Gowda came the next day for a post op visit. This has been a life changer for me- at age 51 i am looking forward to fun on the lake in my bikini (which had previously been retired at age 20). My only regret- not seeing Dr Gowda sooner. He earned my trust, respect, and appreciation. Thank you Dr Gowda!!! From an extremely happy patient :))

Dr. Mune Gowda is an exceptional plastic surgeon. I recommend him! He has a great bedside manner and he cares about YOU. He is easy to talk to and if you listen, he has had an interesting life. I had upper eyelid blepharoplasty, Corrugator Muscle Resection with fat transfer. Both due to several issues. 1. Loose upper eyelids laying on my eyelids which should have been taken care of years ago. 2. Deep frown lines between my brows. I can no longer make those ugly frown lines. Great Dr.

I am unable to fully express my deep gratitude to Dr Gowda and his wonderful staff. I had plastic surgery on 2-27-19. Mine was a much tougher case than anyone anticipated. Doctor Gowda had corrected a paniculectomy after my substantial weight loss. That procedure was not performed by a board certified plastic surgeon and did not meet my expectations. It also left me with a 1.5 inch vertical slit for a belly button, which was off center. Doctor Gowda completely improved my situation and his abdominoplasty/liposuction procedures resulted in perfection and had met my expectations. I had Vaginal Rejuvenation by Kelly D'Arcy the Clinical Laser Nurse. What an amazing experience. Kelly was accommodating, reassuring, and excellent at performing this procedure . You must have it done 3x and after the 1st and 2nd procedure results were beyond my expectations. So Happy! Unbelievable Results with no downtime and no pain.

I had Breast implant exchange with Mastopexy and lipo of the side of breast . I was skeptical about having another surgery so i forgot about it for awhile , then my family and i moved here to novi and that is when i found Dr. Gowda , after many research and reviews, i then decided to call and make a consultation with him at his office, the girls up front are amazing, they were helpful with questions, and then i was brought back to see DR. Highly respected by other physicians, surgical nurses who worked with him and former patients, Dr. Gowda is an extremely talented and gifted surgeon. His work is that of an artist. He has an eye for perfection. What I love most about him, besides the beautiful results is his love for what he does and how he takes pride in his work. It shows! Dr. Gowda is phenomenal. He's very real and always gives you his honest opinion and assessment, which I love. Plus, he is an extremely talented doctor and surgeon, truly a perfectionist and knows his stuff! He took the time with me to explain his opinion, solicit my feedback, and work with me to make sure that I was at ease, educated about the procedure and reasonable outcomes, and would be happy with the final product. I've never been able to breathe better in my entire life. There was almost no down-time or bruising - amazing! He did an impeccable job. Wait times can be longer in the office, but you know that you get the same time allowance when it's your turn w/Dr. Gowda. He actually takes time with each patient, a rare find in medical practices. Dr. Gowda did Blepharoplasty / Eyelid Lift Surgery for me, and I was extremely impressed not only with the results - I shaved at least 10 years from my face, but also with his personality and the way he takes care of his patients. He is very thorough in his approach to each procedure and makes sure the results are as close to perfection as possible. Highly recommended.

I've been seeing Dr. Gowda for the past 10 yrs and while wait time can be a little long, he is very devoted to his patients and takes the appropriate amount of time needed to ensure you feel comfortable with the services provided.

Excellent results! I had liposuction performed on my stomach, back, and inner thighs. Then had the fat transferred to my buttocks to give me volume. I'm beyond pleased with my results and wish I would of met Dr. Gowda years ago to have the surgery done. If you're looking for a tiny waist and a perky butt he's definitely the Dr. to see. :) :)

I went to Dr. Gowda for a second opinion after the breast implants I had had for 20+ years developed problems. Previous opinions had not been too promising, but Dr. Gowda said that he could replace the implants and also give me a lift at the same time, which is what I was hoping for. He delivered and then some. I was extremely happy with my result. Dr. Gowda is not only very skilled, but is also very friendly and caring.

I highly recommend Dr. Gowda to anyone who is considering plastic surgery. I had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Gowda over ten years ago with fantastic results. I recently went back for a mini facelift, neck lift and liposuction. He met with me and my husband in my hotel room the day after surgery to check in on me. I am so impressed with his kindness and compassion for his patients. He is a perfectionist and goes above and beyond to get the best results possible. He truly is the best!

Dr.Gowda is a perfectionist! He is calm, he focus his time on you. He gave me Botox between my eyes,( on the bridge on my nose), and over my eyebrows...looked great and lasted. Nancy C

Even with all the swelling I am so happy with my results dr gowda exceeded my expectations he is a perfectionist he is amazing I never thought I could look like this and he is very caring listens to what you're saying and makes the best recomendations. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Gowda. First their office was supposed to pre authorize my treatment. After calling and calling their office they said the insurance would not cover it. I knew better having managed medical practices, thankfully I knew insurance. They also lost my office visit notes needed for my pre auth. The breast implant was not filled properly--he would not listen and said to his nurse about me while I was there, "It's like talking to a wall." Poor bedside manner.

I highly recommend Dr. Gowda. I have had botox and fillers done by him. He is professional, kind, and extremely skilled. His office staff is also great. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel comfortable.

I have never gone to a medical office as unprofessional asDr. Gowdas!!! When I initially made my appointment I had a bad gut feeling about this office and told my husband I didn't know if I sheould have the nevus removwd here. When I called I was given misinformation about my insurance and coverage Which the office manager had corrected her. I the came for a consultation with my daughter because we both needed procedures. Right away the doctor started talking finances and told me that insurance doesn't always cover for these procedures. I explained to him that I have bcbs ppo and when ever I have had anything removed it's been covered. He stated he just tells every patient this. The office should due their dudiligence with insurance coverage specific to each patient. I then returned for my procedure which went fine. One week later I return to have my stitches taken out. After waiting 45 minutes I hear a patient go to the front desk and ask how much longer, I hear her respond he's running way behind. I then go up and state I've been waiting 45 minutes how much longer will it be, she states another hour. I tell her waiting an hour and fourth five minutes for my appointment Says that the doctors time is more valuable than my time. She stated that he always runs way behind and it's doesn't mean that at all that all patients have to wait the same amount of time if their not having a procedure. She the asks me if I want to reschedule, I say no thank you, why would I reschedule to come back and wait another two hours. Then the other girls says wait one minute we will get you back. Dr. Gowdas assistant takes me back and states she will be taking my stitches out. I said this is totally unacceptable and I would be leaving. I asked to speak to an office manager. As I'm waiting for the office manager they tell me she's dealing with another patient. The office manager and the patient come to the business office and she states tell her I'm going to be a while I'm dealing with another patient. So after being at the office now over and hour I walked out and told them that I would not be coming back and asked them to please cancel my daughters appointment for June. Dr. Gowda is the best around. I couldn't be happier with my new breasts. They are better than they've ever been. I would highly recommend him. He listened to my desires and concerns and did exactly what I wanted. The office staff are all super friendly, too.
