Great experience, had my first healthy baby while in my 40's.

We are so thankful for all the wonderful staff at this clinic! I just graduated and I am walking away 9 weeks pregnant. All the traveling we did to make this little miracle is all worth it and it’s all thanks to the team put together by Dr. Abuzeid. He’s an amazing doctor with so much knowledge and experience. He went over everything in detail and made sure I was comfortable. I also had an outstanding nurse, Lisa. We drove from Toronto to Michigan to become Dr. Abuzeid and Stephanie's patient cause the reviews were great here. The office is very clean, people are nice and professional. After a series of tests, Dr. Abuzeid and Staphanie recommended a hysteroscopy surgery before beginning any treatment and fortunately my wife just got pregnant right after the surgery. Today I am celebrating 20 weeks of pregnancy with my miracle baby. This is all thanks to Dr. Abuzeid and his team. Dr. Abuzeid is very thorough in making sure all necessary tests are ran before treatment and a personalized plan is created for each patient. IVF and Infertility is such an emotional roller coaster… but this team will do everything they can to get you pregnant! I asked so many questions and put my faith into this team and after only having 3 five day embryos, I am pregnant from my first ivf cycle. It is hard to put into words our gratitude toward Dr. Abuzeid, the Dr.’s in the lab (who put great effort into helping us), and his amazing staff (who always made us feel comfortable and supported). After being turned away from another IVF clinic because of our medical history, Dr. Abuzeid did not shy away from our case and agreed to help us. He guided us through different surgical procedures and two rounds of In-Vitro, all the while reminding us to stay positive and not give up hope. Dr. Abuzeid would call after hours to check up on us and his concern and compassion for us was evident in every conversation we had with him. After receiving terrible care during my stim cycle, and even worse care during my miscarriage, I received a call recently asking how my deliver went. I was totally shocked and traumatized by this call. Shouldn’t they have this information in my chart that I not only had left this practice but that I had a miscarriage while under their care? They were the ones who discovered my missed miscarriage so there is no way this should have been missed. Also they stopped ALL my meds at 7 weeks pregnant, which is not best practice, definitely could have been the reason I miscarried. I received absolutely no care after finding out I had a missed miscarriage. Terrible care. Dr. Abuzeid and his team are amazing, I would refer anyone to this group! I was referred to him by my gynecologist after 18 months of infertility treatment with her office and I specifically asked her what doctor I should go to regardless of cost and our financial situation. I wanted to know who was the best in Michigan, who had the most success with clients (even the tough cases) and who was the most ethical (which is hard to find in the IVF business). I did two egg retrievals and 3 transfers, we got pregnant with twins on the last transfer, so don’t give up (especially if you have eggs frozen), use them all. After surviving cancer at 27, I didn't expect to go through infertility. I started my journey at a different clinic and it was awful. I didn't have hope or patience for another round of this. A nurse practitioner I know, recommended Abuzeid. When I met the office staff, it was instantly better customer service. My initial appointment felt like everything was falling into place because I made a connection with another cancer survivor who works there. Doctor Abuzeid ran lots of tests and realized my uterus was very heart shaped. So doctor Abuzeid reconstructed it to increase our chances with IVF success. After failing 7 less invasive treatments, we decided to trust the doctor and let him do a mini IVF… during COVID might I add... They eased my extreme anxiety about COVID several times and were very patient with me. They prepared me to have some eggs and that would be a good outcome. Fourth of July weekend was busy! We camped, retrieved eggs and got ready for transfer lol. Well, if you know me....I’m a bit of an over achiever and I had 14!! 12 mature, 8 fertilized, and 4 turned into high quality embryos. I am thankful IVF Michigan would treat me after cancer and understand our timeline with compassion. I am genetically positive for BRCA gene so I have to remove other girl parts sooner than later, so I don’t get cancer again. Talk about pressure and time crunch. The staff in this facility has been the most compassionate and caring the last year. The PA Stephanie has always made herself available for me at early or late hours due to my distance from the facility. Last but not least, doctor Abuzeid... this man... I cannot tell you how compassionate, loving and empathetic this man is. I can't tell you how many times he made me feel like family in that procedure room. His staff are all really friendly and very knowledgeable. They have always answered all of my questions throughly. They try their hardest to set you up for a successful outcome. I owe Dr. Abuzeid and his team a huge thank you for helping me have my daughter, which wouldn't have been possible without his help. I don’t even know where to begin to express how grateful I am for Dr. Abuzeid and his staff. We have been trying to conceive for a little over 6 years. I was told at a previous fertility clinic that my infertility was unexplained. I had spent over a year at that clinic until I decided to look elsewhere. Dr Abuzeid came highly recommended on Facebook by a lot of women with cases like mine; it was quite a drive for me but it has totally been worth it. Dr. Abuzeid preformed my second lap surgery and for the first time I had a cycle that was so much more manageable and a lot less pain. I had my second lap just to help my fertility treatment, and was told that it might help with pain but it might not. The surgery most definitely did. He removed two cyst and a bunch of adhesions, as well as freed up my ovaries; which were adhered to my uterus. I found out after my surgery I had stage four Endo; something I was never told. A month after my surgery I started my mini ivf and it has gone so well. The nurses are great! They listen to you and keep everything positive. They are also there on call if anything occurs or if you have any questions about medications. They treatment plans he makes are specific for you and what your body needs. It might take almost a three hour to get to my appointments but I would do it all over again. I thank god every day I found this office!! Thank you guys for everything. Everything was explained to me in great detail. The appointments were never rushed and the staff were always so gracious. They were all praying for me and shared in my families excitement when I became pregnant!

They should find a better system for talking to husbands. My wife was told to bring someone because she was not going to be able to drive home due to a procedure that requires anesthesia. Due to covid 19 they wouldn't allow me to come in with her which I understand but it would have been nice to know in advance at one of her previous appointments. I was almost scolded at the office door. " You can't come in here. You have to wait in the car." I gave my wife a kiss and they closed the door. No explanation of how long they would be or if they would contact me. I knocked back on the door and asked if they at least needed my phone number but they said they would get that from my wife. After a few hours of waiting in the parking lot my wife text me that she was in recovery. Then about an hour later she text me again to meet her at the front door. Upon picking her up there was no explanation of her discharge papers or anything . It just seems very unprofessional to me to leave the one caring for her completely in the dark. Especially when the governor said it was ok to have one person with you even during an elective surgery. Maybe its just the receptionist used to dealing with rude husbands or covid 19 makes people treat people like they are an inconvenience. They should find a better system for talking to husbands. Dr. Abuzied's office is absolutely amazing. I continously had problems with my FMLA paperwork not being approved and his office staff had to refill it out about a million different times and they were all so incredibly helpful, especially the office manager. I had my first consultation in October 2018 and was pregnant by February 2019. He is very upfront with you about how everything is going to work. He will explain what he found in the required pre fertility workup and then lays every option out on the table for you. He will tell you what he thinks will be the best route to go and will give you his medical opinion but ultimately he leaves it up to the patient to decide. I absolutely love how I was never questioned about my weight, not that I'm considered obese but I've heard other clinics will make you lose weight before even moving forward with treatments. Monitoring during treatment was made super easy and after the consultation everything moved pretty fast. the compassion this man has for his patients is amazing and I love that he has a sense of humor. I am in Egypt currently and I have tried 2018 I got pregnant with ivf at Adam's international hospital but it stopped growing I came back and did another retervial out of 16 mature eggs only 5 were good and we had ngs done to see if the chromosomes were good and they told us all 4 failed. We did a genetic test for me and my husband everything was fine. We tried to start a new cycle and was told to wait for 2 months thats not even the bad part we had a mean mean doctor not patient not polite ???? very very rude we were told never to be under stress but with that doctor its just something I can't say in words. Dr. Abuzeid found a diagnosis 2 other Dr’s never mentioned. I had success for baby 2 on my first mini ivf cycle with Dr Abuzeid. He is all about ensuring your body is ready for a pregnancy before the patient endures the cost and physical/emotional roller coaster that comes with IVF procedure. We are truly thankful for Dr. Abuzeid. My wife and I had struggled for over two years with what was diagnosed as 'unexplained infertility', all the numbers were correct and yet month after month no baby. We had worked with another office for over a year and a half of that time. After several visits Doctor Abuzeid not only showed he was leagues above most as a doctor but as a person of compassion, empathy and love as well. It is hard to now know why, he and his incredible staff walked with us. He found things that the prior specialist had not and after a quick surgery and some recovery time we are not expecting our first child, naturally, in December. Wonderful experience with IVF Michigan. Dr. Abuzied was a wonderful doctor, and the staff were always helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I had 6 miscarriages then I chose Dr. Abuzied to find out my problem. He treated me right away, and three months after hysteroscopy I got pregnant. We finally decided on IVF Michigan Rochester and every single expectation was exceeded. Not only is Dr Abuzeid and his staff incredibly skilled medically, but they are also compassionate and caring. They were running a January special at half off the original price $5500. The treatment was not successful and the experience has left us untrusting and hurt. We started with 10 eggs 8 feetilized they implanted 2 and there were none left to freeze. Our 9am appointment was rescheduled to 3pm we were the last procedure for the day. Dr. Abuzied left his finger in after the transfer was done longer than was necessary. We hadn't met most of the support staff assisting dr. I wish there was more we could do to say thank you to Dr Abuzeid and his fantastic staff, to show him just how grateful and blessed we are to have found their practice. We first found Dr Abuzeid a few years back after we had gone through a couple of early unexplained miscarriages. Upon just a couple of visits he was able to tell me I had a uterine septum and helped remove it along with some other scar tissue issues. My Obgyn prior to him had suspected I had a uterine septum, but when she did surgery to investigate she said she was mistaken and she didn’t see one. Her missing it could have been the cause of two losses. Dr Abuzeid managed to diagnose me with one and remove it in a few weeks. Fast forward to this year we are currently pregnant again on our very first round of mini IVF with him! I ended up getting moderate OHSS and although it was miserable, doctor and his staff had me monitored constantly and made sure every single day to make sure I was doing well, and followed up with me both in and outside of the practice until I was feeling 100% better. The staff helped me out tremendously with whatever questions or concerns I had, and also went out of their way to make sure I was covered on medications at all times if I was running short or had a hard time getting something I needed. I have referred so many people to him and will continue to do so. We will forever be grateful for everything him and his staff have done for us. I was referred to Dr. Abuzeid office from another physician for evaluation and treatment of a fast-growing uterine fibroid. Dr.Abuzeid was able to safely remove the fibroids without any damage to my uterus. He is a miracle man. Trust me guys go and visit this doctor's office once and will know the difference. Unlike other doctors he will not suggest you to jump into IVF straight away. Dr Abuzeid was the 5th doctor I had seen after seeing 4 doctors in 4 years that all told me that my only options with my Fibroids were a dreadful hysterectomy!! Eight years after being treated by Dr. Abuzeid, I feel that it is important to share my story. I went to Dr. Abuzeid shortly after Dr. Hayes (Oakwood Hospital at the time) told me that I was infertile. After 2 years of wasting my time, she told me that I am not fit for IVF and that I’d need a donor egg to get pregnant. That’s when I sought another opinion. Fortunately Dr. Abuzeid's office was nothing like my previous clinic. There was only a few people in the waiting room every morning for monitoring. I never felt like I was being rushed out the door, everyone always let me ask questions and thoroughly answered them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Abuzeid and his staff are wonderful to work with. Everybody is so friendly and takes time to listen to your questions and concerns. One of the nurses met me at the office late on a weekend night after I had a medication issue. They are very respectful and are very good at giving you all your options. Dr Abuzeid really takes the time to understand your situation and give you options. We felt confident from the first time we met him that he was the one for us. His experience and passion really shows and you will learn that quickly. The staff are also worth noting, as a lot of your care & questions will be through them and they’re just as great! Wait times can be high but remember when it comes your turn, you won’t feel rushed. After having gone through a very devastating failed IVF cycle with another doctor, we decided to meet with Dr. Abuzeid. It’s because of him that we now have our daughter(On our first cycle with him!) and we thank god every day for that. We are so grateful for all the staff at IVF Michigan who made that possible. Everyone was so caring and compassionate and Dr. Abuzeid himself really takes pride in helping others start a family. We are now trying for baby #2 and have gone back to see Dr Abuzeid in hope that he can help us give our baby girl a sibling and I am confident that he will do anything he can to help us make that happen! Dr. Abuzeid was the second infertility specialist I saw after being diagnosis with “unexplained infertility” and he immediately stood out above the other. He is personal, detailed, and extremely knowledgeable. He truly listens to what you are wanting and creates a plan around that. He was able to identify things that the prior specialist had not and suggested surgery as an option to correct what I had going on. He is a phenomenal surgeon! Within 7 months of my first visit with him I had surgery, recovered from it, had a true diagnosis for infertility, and conceived naturally. I am now 3 1/2 months pregnant with a baby girl! Dr. Abuzeid appointments can be booked out a little bit, but I promise he is well worth the wait! The first day I went my appointment it was an hour late, and again I tell you he is well worth the wait, because he truly cares and takes the time to listen to people without making them feel rushed even if he is behind schedule.
