Dr. Morton Max Teich

Went to Teich for an allergy to markers & rubber cement. Forms filled out included a waiver for “dangerous clinical experiments that could be harmful perhaps fatal. Teich claimed I had a “masked “allergy to formaldehyde he described as a nontoxic substance”. He prescribed injections & sublingual doses of same he assserted we’re a absolutely safe treatment for my marker allergy. As a result of this treatment I became sensitized to formaldehyde the most ubiquitous chemical in indoor environments. Blood tests subsequently showed an Ige (allergy index) higher than any doctor had ever seen. I reported Teich to NYSOPMC. He beat the wrap with the best law firm in NYC & altering my record.s. According to the investigator theMD director of his department said he knows Teich & “he’s a phony”.

Teich’s practice includes “clinical ecology” a procedure of “provocative neutralization” subjects the patient to injections of tincture of chemicals such as formaldehyde. A subsequent chech with the NY Office for medical misconduct found this procedure has been proven dangerous & worthless.

Went to Dr. Teich a Clinical Ecologist aka for an allergy to fumes of magic markers & rubber cement. Forms filled out included a waiver stating Teich was doing "dangerous clinical experiments that could be harmful perhaps fatal". Teich claimed I had a "masked" allergy to formaldehyde & tincture injections & sublingual drops of formaldehyde would increase tolerance to markers, describing it as "absolutely safe” and “formaldehyde as a non-toxic substance". As a result of this treatment I became sensitized to formaldehyde the most ubiquitous chemical pollutant in indoor environments. Allergy blood tests 3 months after ending this "treatment" showed the worst Ige (allergy index) subsequent MD's had seen. I reported Teich to the NYS board of Ed. Dept. Med. Misconduct. According to the investigator the MD in charge knows him describing him as "phony". He's got all the right docs. on the wall, but that's deceptive in effort to be innovative he's endangering some patients.

Dr Teich is an excellent doctor who I recommend wholeheartedly. He has a wealth of knowledge in his field, and an ability to effectively use that knowledge to help his patients. He has helped me turn my life around by learning to manage my allergies, and not let my allergies run my life. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr Teich is an excellent doctor. He has been my allergist for 30 years. Under his care my quality of life has increased exponentially as I have learned how to manage my allergies.

I was referred to Dr. Teich after treatment by several very good doctors who were unsuccessful in treating my ailment. He diagnosed the condition properly after testing, and helped me regain full health again under his treatment. I recommend him and his team without hesitation; they are patient, caring and very knowledgeable.

You have tried 'everything' else already and perhaps you are at your wits end, right? Now, today call Dr.Teich to get yourself your health into shape again. His approach is different hence your result shall be successful.

Dr. Teich treated my sons back in the 1980s. He was a wonderful clinician and an empathetic man. He was able to help our son break out of his autistic state and communicate with people again. I remember him fondly.

I've had an autoimmune issue+many allergies for several years. I lived in Manhattan a short time, and Dr. Teich was one of the first doctors I'd seen. Under his care, my health turned around and I was able to get pregnant. I left NY and over the years have seen MANY top physicians....both conventional and integrative. In retrospect, Dr. Teich was the only one who "got it right". I think both his original diagnosis and his treatment protocol were the correct ones. An excellent doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Teich for 14 years, & he is honestly the best doctor I have ever had. He is one of the most caring, friendliest doctor's I have ever gone to, & I often tell people when I refer to him as my "Good Doctor". His info above states he specializes with children, but he also works with adults. There is a long wait to see him (sometimes as long as an hour), but that is because he takes enough time with each patient so that they can talk about their problems, rather then your typical doctor that talks to you for only 5 minutes. He follows all of his patients cases very closely & will continue to search for answers until you are satisfied. If you want a test done, he will do it. He is extremely knowledgeable with allergies, chemical sensitives (which most doctors still will not recognize), systemic candida infections, & endocrine issues, especially hypothyroidism. When all my other doctors diagnosed me as just "depressed", Dr Teich ran simple tests that showed I had hypoglycemia, hypothyroidism, PCOS, & yeast issues. He put me on a program that helped me manage my illnesses so that I could enjoy life more fully. He is also extremely accommodating. When I started developing seizures & could not make it into the office anymore, he started excepting phone conversations so I was more comfortable (He only does this if he feel's it is absolutely necessary though). Dr Teich does except insurance, but does not except Medicaid, which most people have. I myself have to pay out of pocket, but it is well worth it since he has helped me when no one else could. & what price can you really put on your health? Take it from someone who can not work because of their illness...You want the best of the best, & in this city, you get what you pay for, & Dr Teich is the best. Dr Teich does not charge if you are late, but will charge you, like most doctors, if you cancel an appointment at the last minute (Because if you cancel, you wasted their time since they could have filled your spot with a patient that actually needs help). I trust Dr Teich with my life, because he gave me back mine. I have been a patient of Dr Teich for 14 years, & he is honestly the best doctor I have ever had.
