Morris Gottlieb

Dr. Gottlieb and his team need to train other clinics on how to balance content, skill, results, communication, and patient care. A terrific experience across all areas where you would expect to evaluate a Dr.'s office. Head and shoulders above other ENTs in DFW. Highly recommended.

Dr. Gottlieb is kind and knowledgeable. He's personable and generally gives you the feeling that he enjoys helping, as opposed to some physicians that leave you feeling like you're a burden. Easily one of the experiences with medical professionals I've had throughout life.

Update - Priscilla just called me to apologize. Her call was almost immediate . She let me know that there had been a coaching, and that my daughter could absolutely still see the doctor. I appreciate the accountability and phone call. I will definitely be updating this review once I see the doctor however, I do have high hopes based on all the reviews of the Dr . Wow ! Unfortunately I didn’t see the Dr today . My review is based on Heather the front desk receptionist. My referral had expired in October 2022 I booked my appointment well after it. They stated they called Wednesday however I had my number changed . (That’s my bad ) I asked if I got a referral could they see my daughter (I’m a teacher and took off ) she said no . Cool , no biggie . She has scheduled me twice without a referral so I ask , can you get me on the books my referral is being sent . She said no , I cannot schedule you an appointment without a referral on file. I told her that there have been two appointments scheduled without referral. She stated the policy changed and she can’t . She was very combative and not empathetic at all. I asked when the policy changed and she said after you made your last appointment. At that point her attitude was unbearable and I asked to speak to the manager.She told me her name was Priscilla but told me she cannot give me any of her information and that she would have her call me. She told me that I could get out and leave . She shut the window in my face . Then I told her I would be leaving a review about the horrible customer service.” She then said great . Now we won’t be seeing your daughter. Have a great day “ Who brings A CHILD INTO IT ? I understand I should have reached out and updated my number but they also have an email on file . On top of that the attitude was not needed. If you look at ALL of the 1star reviews none are on the Dr. They are ALL ON HER . I’m a momma and a teacher and had to schedule this appointment around that schedule. Understandably this was a HUGE inconvenience have done empathy. Dr. Gottlieb and Teresa Harris (audiologist) have been taking care of my hearing health for the past year. They are very knowledgeable and caring. They listen attentively to my concerns and explain everything to me in detail. Teresa Harris has worked with me as needed to fine tune my hearing aids to meet my unique needs. I am very appreciative of everything that everyone at this practice does to support me on this journey.

My dad has been dealing with hearing issues for the majority of his life. In one visit with Dr. Gottlieb and his staff and I’m confident he’s going to be hearing clear in the near future.

He was able to identify the cause of an issue no other doctor had, and the surgery had perfect results. He's always smiling, always warm and familiar with us even if we've only seen him twice~ He's just... The best doctor experience we've had. You'll leave not only in better health but also smiling. Few doctors treat you as a person nowadays.

Wonderful staff and super wonderful doctor. They are all caring and attentive!

My husband has had breathing problems for years. Dr. Gottlieb was our ‘s ear doctor so he decided to see him as well. Dr. Gottlieb did a great job at his surgery and continued to be attentive and knowledgeable in his post surgery care. The reviews are accurate. Dr. Gottlieb and his team are incredible. He was patient with my 20 month old son (not an easy task - especially when he hadn’t had his nap), and explained everything to us with an impeccable bedside manner. The doctor is definitely in his purpose, and if we have any further ENT issues, we will be using him.

Dr. Gottlieb has served both of my teenager children’s ENT needs. He is so caring, and takes the needed time with you to fully understand the diagnosis and treatment. His staff is very professional and follows up pre and post surgery.

Dr Gottlieb and his staff were great. He listened to me, read the history of my problem that I had prepared, asked good questions, responded to my questions and was fully engaged with me and my symptoms. He gave me good advice, and as it became obvious that my problem was in a different area than his specialty, referred me to another highly regarded specialist. All told, a great experience with Dr. Gottlieb!

From the minute you walk in you feel important and cared for in this office. Front office goes the extra mile. Very little wait time. Dr Gottlieb is amazing! I went in for allergy testing and it was quick and efficient. I was able to get on allergy drops and have been seeing great results. I have had a pituitary adenoma for over 2 years. Dr. Gottlieb not only reassured me about my ear pain is not causing hearing loss but also about my adenoma as well. He listened attentively and happily and also referred me to a neurosurgeon ( I haven't had any luck with them as either I work with them or they are not to me knowledge) neurosurgeon. He is an amazing ENT along with his staff whom every single one of those ladies was very welcoming and concerned about my issues. This was my first visit and everybody made me feel comfortable and explained things to me very well. Great service from the whole team.

Wish I could respond to your response, but somehow I don't see that option. I never received a call. I called the practice to confirm my appointment as I didn't see any email or phone call until 4pm day before appointment. I arrived late because my notes said 11:15 appointment and if you see my review I didn't put it on practice for that. Having said that, when I said I drove 40 miles one way, the only response on phone was, come back at 2:30 and we only see you on time. Another 80 mile trip in 2 hrs is not practical which is why I denied. Understand why practices take insurance info, but I would assume that's not the only thing practices would be interested in. ______________________________________________________________________ Worst experience!! One they never called to confirm the appointment. I called them back and got the date and time. There was some misunderstanding where I thought my appointment was 11:15, when I reached I was told it was at 11. It was a 30+ mile drive one way. I talk to the front office, she says not enough time to do paper work and examine etc, I was requesting to see if there is another time to squeeze. Everything about my experience with my first visit here was a joy (except figuring out where to park!) The office staff were perfect, I was called back into the examination room before I could even finish my paperwork for the visit, and Doctor Gottlieb took one look at my nostrils and knew what to do, but he listened to me talking about my 67 years of nasal history with respect and patience, only interrupting to say "that's not your problem" and move things along. If you are looking for not just a good ENT but a GREAT one, look no further! Dr. Gottlieb is one of the best out there and I'm not just saying that. My experience has been phenomenal with not just him but the rest of the staff as well. I had my procedure for a deviated septum and to remove polyps last week. My first post-op follow up appt was today and although I still have a few more appointments to go, I could not not write a review cause I'm still in awe of how smooth this experience as been. My first appointment with Dr. Gottlieb I broke down and cried because of how emotional it was for me to not be able to breathe thru my nose for as long as I can remember (ever since I was a kid) and the pain / shame I've carried for so long around that. Doc was very comforting and validated all my feelings and said he wants to do whatever he can to help me and he has been just as comforting and encouraging through out the process since that day. I knew he was a good doc when he explained that he didn't just want to fix the symptoms or put a band aid over it, but he wanted to fix the root issue of my disease by performing the surgery as well as taking a more collaborative and wholistic approach by referring me to a few specialists so that it would be a more permanent solution instead of a temporary fix. I could go on and on but this review will look more like an essay so I will stop here... Thank you Dr. Gottlieb for giving me a piece of my humanity back and helping me be able to BREATHE again! I guess she thought that this was the wrong type of doctor and told me to go find another one. I wonder if Dr. Morris Gottlieb knows his receptionist is turning away possible patients. I went to this doctor during COVID times which it may be the reason why he charged $500 bucks on the first visit (which I thought was too much but I needed it) anyway, I follow all direction, took the medication and didn't fix the issue in my ears... went back after 3 weeks with same issue and he charged again $150 bucks for checking my ear and say "your ear is perfect" (5 minutes time). I decided to visit a different doctor and happens to be that my ear was NOT perfect at all and needed a different treatment. Bottom line... He might be a good doctor but I felt like he was trying to make money out of nothing (which I think is very unprofessional). Great staff and doctor!

I went to visit Dr. Gottleib because I had life-long sinus issues that were intrusive to everyday living. I had been to allergists and other doctors, but never really got relief. Shout out to Dr. Gottlieb and his staff. From intake, to the audiologist (cannot remember his name but he was great), to the nurses and assistants on staff and his work as a doctor and surgical work come highly recommended from me. For years I have gone to ENTs and chickened out on getting a few procedures done. Dr. Gottlieb is patient, looks you in the eye, explains what and why he is suggesting what he is doing and answers questions clearly and concisely in terms I as a patient can understand. In the past I have had uncomfortable interactions with medical professionals/physicians who seems irritated or annoyed about questions when I would ask about diagnoses or procedures and it has always made me really uneasy and sometimes unwilling to proceed. The anxiety it can produce by being made to feel uncomfortable about things being done to your own body and asking questions is unnerving. This experience was positive, even with all my questions and a less than smooth recovery but it went as good as it possibly could because of him his staff and Baylor Surgicare center in North Dallas. I had seen Dr Gottlieb on the 9/25 for chronic runny nose and its been 3 weeks but still i am not clear about my diagnosis. Firstly they sent the Imaging tests to the wrong facility which I had to ask them to resend it to the correct facility which is in my network. Now its been more than a week since I had my CT scan and still waiting to hear from the doctor's office about my diagnosis. The Dr examination was good though and that's the only positive thing I can recall.

We made the appt two weeks in advance, they cancelled twice and had a didn’t care attitude. Didn’t try to accommodate and the lady we talked to clicked on us twice, put us on hold mid sentence, etc. Very unprofessional. Found another doctor.

She refused to allow me to make an appointment despite having obvious symptoms that warranted an examination by an ENT physician. I had a 9am appointment today and waited 40 minutes to get in, at which time was told I needed to do a hearing test before the doctor would see me. I explained that I recently had a hearing test done and was not here for that. I wanted a tube in my ear checked to see if all was good as I travel a lot by plane. The doctor refused to see me unless I had the hearing test done. I waisted an hour and half of my time and never was able to see the doctor. I wanted to ask questions about allergies, snoring, and sinuses. I am beyond frustrated to the point of mad. As a healthcare professional myself, I believe this place is more about billing insurance for procedures than caring for me as a patient.
