Dr. Monika Ferreira Queiroz Do Valle

Dr. Do Valle was very clearly is judgmental and cannot keep a composed professional response. She asked me if I “even try having fun” in regards to my depression just because I work long hours. She also insinuated I was lying when I told her I had plenty of time for fun activities. On top of this multiple times I was asked why I was sad and why I was anxious. I kept telling her there was no particular reason, besides of course being diagnosed by a therapist for having anxiety and depression. Yet she kept insisting there must be a particular reason other than that. She acts as if she hasn’t even taken an introductory psychology course at a college level, let alone graduating from Medical school. I feel way worse than I did coming in.

Terribly judgmental and rude. Makes assumptions and audibly laughs if she disagrees with you. No thanks.

It was awful, she felt very judgmental and instead of listening to me, she assumed she knew everything from talking for 30 minutes during the intake. I feel worse about myself now than afterI went in to see her. It was very tense and felt like a lecture from my parents rather than help. She was very unprofessional and I will not be going back to her.

Seems bright,attentive, experienced. -what's not to like?

Great service and attention to detail

I began working with Dr. DoValle with the intention of tapering off medications I was prescribed many years ago. Most doctors I had spoken with previously rejected the idea entirely. Dr. DoValle was open minded yet cautious, and was able to not only help me get off two of the medications but make suggestions on more natural alternatives. She truly listens and kept my personal goals in mind while integrating her extensive knowledge. I trust her judgement and that she has my best intentions.

I have been a patient of Dr. do Valle for a few months and have found her to be respectful, kind, attentive and effective in her meetings with me which included both therapy and medication. I highly recommend her.

I saw Dr. Do Valle in San Rafael and had a very positive experience with her. She listened to to me carefully, was attentive in her review of systems and provided treatment that was effective. I highly recommend her.

Dr. do Valle left her practice and canceled all of her appointments the day before I was scheduled to see her. I waited over a month to get this appointment, and now I have to start the process all over again elsewhere without assistance from her or her office. Very disappointing.
