Dr. Chacón was amazing! I brought my son for an appointment with her and she took the time to ask my son questions to try to understand what is going on with him while letting him feel that he was going to be fine after he received the treatment that he needs. Dr Chacon was really sweet and approachable, she allowed me to make questions too and to share my concerns with her. My son’s primary doctor asked me to find a neurologist so that he could send all the referral information to them. From the very beginning the staff was so nice and easy to work with. I am so grateful we went with Dr. Chacon after making so many phone calls trying to schedule an appointment with other neurologist offices that won’t even pick up the phone. Thank you Dr. Chacon for doing your job right and showing kindness and professionalism. We appreciate you!

New front staff seems to be very kind and helpful. I’ve had some issues in the past with referrals but was able to get it figured out eventually and staff was always friendly. Dr. Chacon is a good doctor, she cares about her patient and takes the time to explain why she is ordering a specific treatment, test, etc. Overall, great office to come to

Dr Chacon is the exact type of specialist that southern Nevada needs. She has been a great doctor thus far. The staff is average which is all anyone can ask for these days

Had a visit as a new patient. We have a whole care team treating our child. We have been diagnosed with seizures before with several others conditions. We came to be seen for seizures. Dr Chacon refused to listen to us. She blamed our currents medication for the "spells" we are seeing. She told us we were diagnosed wrong for a condition we are not seeing her for. Dr Monica Chacon is an amazing doctor, she has been my daughters doctor for about two years. Dr Chacon is respectful, takes her time explained everything and listens to my concerns. She is so sweet to both my little ones, from the very first appt i knew we were in the right hands. Prior to her we worked with a horrible doctor who was the complete opposite so i know the importance of a great nero doctor, and she is it. Called to schedule an appointment for a pediatric patient at the immediate recommendation of our pediatrician. Was told, "I'm lucky to get in by the end of July." It's mid June, even if nothing could be done to get him in sooner, it was not an appropriate response to a parent who is extremely concerned about her child.

First and foremost they have CALLER ID yes so if they don’t want to talk to you they won’t pick up . So I decided to call from multiple numbers yes indeed however they put you on hold so long you go to voicemail. Second hand it took over a month to just get them to answer don’t worry about leaving a VM they don’t return phone calls . When I told the staff their response was the phone was down wow for a month ok . Third their very rude and unprofessional when I arrived at my appointment no one said anything to me. I assumed I would fill out paperwork. I go to the back the nurse ask for my son medical records now remind you no one called or asked me to bring anything they didn’t Even asking the referring physician. Moving forward the Dr ordered an MRI . 1 go to pediatrician office get more documents and measurements 2 get MRI 3 come back in a month. I ask should I do anything about the MRI staff ( front desk) no we will take care of everything. A month later where is the MRI also they canceled my appointment & tried to schedule my follow up 2+ months out after I was asked to return for a month follow up for my son. Bc my work Sch is very unpredictable I made an appointment out of state the staff refused to send proper documents they refused to answer the phone as of now it’s been over a month no MRI best advice call from multiple numbers. My son was a patient of a doctor whom decided to leave town. I had to find another doctor for him. My son was born at 24 weeks, he had a seizure at day 8 which caused bleeding I. His head on both sides and he now has a VP shunt. He had several seizures throughout his stay in the hospital. Was being followed yearly by the other doctor. When we went to see Dr Chacon, she didn’t listen to anything about my son and kept asking why I was there. I told her that my son needed to be seen by a neurologist because of his shunt, he is delayed in all aspects of his life and the doctor had no respect for him. Been going to this office for about 2 years now, at first I was really impressed with the staff. Within time my son seizures got worse, the more she upped his intake on pills. My son is now on 8 pills a day, and she increased them once again. He had an EEG and is taking months to see her to get the test results.. She disregarded all of our concerns, and the appointment are pretty much empty conversations on my sons medical health. If we could have packed up Dr. Chacon and brought her with us we would have. We really miss her. This office is a joke. We were insulted by nurse assistant as she assumed we were on "government assistance" (we are not) and wouldnt be able to pay for our bill. Billing has made numerous mistakes trying to charge us twice or say we never paid at all and we brought bank statements in proving we always paid our copays. Dr Chacon tried to prescribe an anti seizure medication on my ONE YEAR OLD without having a proper diagnosis or proof of actual seizures..later after putting my baby through an MRI she said to stop the medication she prescribed emmedialty because nothing was wrong with him.I am disgusted with this entire office and refuse to ever go back. Dr. Chacon has been my sons doctor for 3 months. She still has not sent one medication to his pharmacy and he has seizures and traumatic brain injury. I had to get his medications from his primary care physician. Then they called to schedule another appointment with the agreement that they will send his medications to his pharmacy that I had to look up address and phone number for and the still made me go to the pharmacy needlessly.... no medications there. 5 phone call and an office visit and haven’t gotten them to do their job yet and this is my child’s health ????????????????! Run if you can ????????. Dealing with this doctor is hell if you’re trying to have a career and health child. We've only been there one time so far but do have future appointments scheduled. I am very impressed with doctor chaconne. She is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, patient, kind and is everything that we would want from a good doctor, especially Pediatrics. My son really enjoyed the waiting room although it's slightly more geared toward little kids but everyone there was so friendly and the facility was clean. It was a little busy when I was trying to call in my appointment but she got right back to me at the front desk and there were no issues at all. They even work around my schedule because I don't live in Las Vegas. She took so much time with us in the exam room and listen to what everyone said. I would highly highly recommend this place. I wish I liked her as much as everyone else. She is a good doctor but when I questioned the Med she wanted to start and yelled at her MA for not sending a prior auth and not calling me back after repeatedly calling about the refill/prior auth, she turned cold. I think I had a right to be upset. Her MA is not good. I don’t care if you made a mistake, but not returning a call or completing the medication request and then leaving for the day on a Friday is unacceptable. My son had no seizure medication. Dr chacon defended the MA saying she knew insurance policies more than she dr chacon did and then she moved on with the appointment. How about an apology?! Leaving my son without medication after I called 4 times starting two weeks before the Med was to run out is ridiculous. Because of my interaction with her staff and then asking if we could do a different medication, she basically gives us a 5 minute appointment and then says she needs to go because my son had a dirty diaper. ??

I was very excited to have a new pediatric neurologist here in Las Vegas. My appointment was at 3pm I arrived to the address that is on Kattie Beckett information booklet at 3:13 I know that we have 15 minutes of grace period. After 3 minutes they answered my question : is this the office of Dr. Chacon? They said no , she moved 3 buildings from here , I went to the correct place . I knew I was late to this location due to have the old address, they don't have a sign that indicate that Dr. Chacon' office has moved to a new location. They mentioned at Dr. Offices that I arrived 3:16 (this is incorrect) but they said that they have cameras to show that I arrived at 3:16. Finally I went to the first location and told them that I was not there at 3:16 . They were agree with me , they said is not the first time that the doctor does that . I thought Dr Chacon was great. She was pleasant and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We got in to see her within two weeks of the referral. The office staff was nice and accommodating. My two year old son had fallen asleep on the way to the appointment so they let him stay in the car with my husband (AC on of course) while we waited for the doctor and let me run out to get him when she was just about ready. I appreciated that extra bit of nap time for him. He doesn’t have a condition where he needs to go back to see her, but if he did I would happily return to see Dr Chacon. I just want to say that Dr. Chacon is an amazing doctor. She was there for my daughter from the very beginning of when she got sick. From helping her find the right meds to helping her find the perfect surgeon for my daughter. It took a long time for my daughter to open up to her but my whole family just loved Dr. Chacon. Great office what a great staff. Mary Lou and Christina were very patient with me as I called them practically every day to try to get it my daughter in sooner. They were able to get me in sooner and I was so happy with the doctor thank you for being a great office

Today was our last visit with Dr Monica Chacon. We were sad but happy at the same time. Hard to find a caring and loving Dr. She has been amazing since day one. She always talks to him and treats him like a person.He just loves going.Her staff are always amazing as well. Christina always goes with what ever Dr says. We saw Dr Chacon for the first time on Thursday. We were overwhelmed on how Caring she was. She could tell my daughter was scared and she did everything in her power to ensure her that there was nothing to be scared. She even told her a Christmas story with Elfs’s and How elf workers work really hard to make Christmas special for kids it was really cute as we were leaving she even got the checkout girl Christina to play alone these two were just great.Dr chacon and Christina are amazing

Dr chacon was running 30 mins late. No one come to tell us. I just thought she forgot about us.
