Nice, polite. Since she took over my now retired GYN’s practice, I didn’t feel that comfortable with her.

Dr McCullough is the true definition of physician--knowledgeable, empathetic, kind, thorough, talented and professional. I was so lucky to have been referred to her.

I never take the time to right reviews on any place but I just had to for this one. I had a good OBGYN back in Daytona beach but I needed one over here since I moved. She was amazing & i can understand why she has the best reviews I’ve seen. Pls go see her because she was nice, fast & efficient !!

I wanted to find a female urologist for debilitating, chronic UTI symptoms. I was seen promptly upon arrival in a very clean office. The nurse who saw me first was nice. Dr. McCullough came in and spent a lot of time speaking to me about my symptoms. She didn't ask me silly questions like "Do you wipe front to back?" She genuinely cared and asked questions about my history with UTIs. While other doctors would send me home with a script for antibiotics, she listened to my cries for help and realized quickly that I had Interstital Cystitis, not frequent UTIs. She gave me information on the diagnosis, which was very helpful. I have been taking the medication and supplements she recommended and even changed my diet to exclude acidic products. I have had to go to many doctors in my life and Dr Mona has had the most enjoyable bedside manor. I feel heard, I never feel rushed. She informs me at every stage of my exams and treatment. There are no big surprises. I have waited decades for a doctor like this and I am so grateful to find her.

I have been to several female pelvic doctors over my 75 years and Dr. McCullough is the most knowledgeable, informative, compassionate and helpful doctor. It is a joy to finally find a special human being who is also an exceptional doctor.

I felt comfortable with her on my first visit. The problem is she was ready to perform surgery (hysterectomy with mesh sling) while I was under a strong chemo oral drug being a chemo patient. When I met with my oncologist and told him I was going in for surgery the end of March, he said "ABSOLUTELY NOT" She also wanted me to take estrogen topical to balance my flora. My oncologist told me with my type of cancer, I'm not to have any type of estrogen! Needless to say, I felt the Dr. was not educated with cancer patients and what not to perform on them. My oncologist told me if I had the surgery I would have a very hard time in recovery, due to the chemo drug lowering my resistance to anything. I tried to get on the portal to write this, but I guess I was checked out of the system.

I was initially impressed with the doctor and staff. I have a prolapsed bladder and was suggested a pessary to wear during actively working on our farm. About 2 months ago I noticed a discharge and some spotting. I went back to see Dr McCullough and she did a C & S. They found a bacterial infection. THE nurse called in a prescription that made me very ill. I called the office and wanted to speak with the doctor but was told I could not speak to her and was transferred to the nurse. She order 3 days of cream. It didn’t work. I could not get an appointment to see Dr. McCullough for 10 days and the day before my appointment they canceled my appointment because Dr. McCullough was not going to be available. I was in pain and had waited 10 days. Will never go back. Nurse was very, very rude and dismissive.

Dr Mc Cullough is excellent she took the time to hear what I had to say and then she did the exam.I am so glad I found her.I would recommend her to anyone .

She was great, she took her time to see me, answer all my questions, gave me a VERY thorough examination, and her recommendations. Although I am Dr. from another country, (she was not aware of it) her examination was outstanding, I understand that sometimes time is of the essence, but she took her time with my situation. Thank you, Dr McCullough, for your help and knowledge.

I cannot emphasize enough how caring and professional Dr. McCullough is! She is conservative, warm and completely explains everything.

Why do Doctors feel their time is more important than the patients? To be left sitting for an hour without any update as to when you would see the Dr is just rude. I was interviewing this Dr for me to hire her as my Dr. Not the other way around. Be on time, as you expect me to be for your appts. I can understand 30 minutes waiting time but and hour and a half? More patients need to deem this unacceptable behavior. I walked out and will find a Dr who respects me and my time. Or perhaps her scheduling staff needs to schedule better. In any event I surmised she was soooo busy she did not need me as an additional patient. Only come here if you have nothing else to do with your time.

Dr. Mona McCullough, Urogynecology. My problem started 2 years ago with bladder retention after I had pelvic floor repair. The Doctor that did my surgery was in a different state. I saw Dr. McCullough at Trinity here in Florida in 2017, then in Spring Hill Florida. I had pain and discomfort from that surgery. Dr. McCullough suggested we try pelvic floor therapy at Trinity Rehab to loosen up my pelvic floor muscles to alleviate discomfort and pain. I went for 2 to 3 months, twice a week. The Therapist (Lucianna) worked with me very well and was loosening up my pelvic floor muscles. I can truthfully say the therapy worked for me along with certain exercises I was shown to do. If I do have a flare up, I just do the exercises I was taught. Also, there is a tool called Thera Wand that helps pelvic floor problems. What a relief! THANK YOU Dr. Mona McCullough for helping me. Dr. McCullough is excellent, thorough, extremely knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to talk to me prior to any procedure. I haven't had that experience with any doctor here in this area. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Dr. McCullough is not only exceptionally qualified and competent, she takes the time to clearly explain all and answer any questions you have concerning the specifics of your surgery and aftercare. She also willingly gives you information concerning statistics about surgical outcomes and hospital qualifications. As a Urogynecologist, she is one of the few, and the ONLY female surgeon within approximately 25 miles that does pelvic reconstructive surgery at the time of this review. Before her move to a practice nearby, I WILLINGLY drove the 20 miles to see her for any gyne appointments. I highly recommend her! Dr. McCullough explained everything so I could understand it. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable with the whole experience. I felt comfortable in her hands. Dr. McCullough's staff was also very professional.

Excellent physician, I cannot say enough about her diagnostic skill, openness, and emphatic manner. If you are seeking a physician that actually examines and treats you rather than prescribing endless antibiotics — look no further. I had been to five different urologists before finding her. She is really head and shoulders above her peers. Office staff is caring and courteous. This practice is great!!

Dr. McCullough is a true professional. She thoroughly read my extensive medical history before I arrived and was able to seamlessly integrate it into my presenting complaint. She studied at the University of Miami medical school which is a fantastic medical school, and you can see that academic brilliance shine through in her workup of you. My review already sounds so glowing of her, and it's easy to do so because it's true. I have seen around 15 doctors for the complaint I presented to Dr. McCullough and not only is she the only one who took me on as a patient and attempted a treatment plan, she actually helped me. I really do think Dr. McCullough is a bit of a miracle in the sense that it is *so difficult* to find a true medical professional these days (as defined by someone who reads your charts prior to the appt, actually listens to you while you speak, and is just overall incredibly respectful). I recently had pelvic prolapse reconstruction via Da Vinci Robotic surgery. Dr. McCullough has all the qualities that you would hope to find in a physician. I found her to be cautious when needed, sympathetic to your issue and very knowledgeable in her field. I had mesh attached to the prolapsed areas. Dr. McCullough is the best!

Wonderful Dr. who performed my surgery. She gave me a thorough review beforehand and spent considerable time listening to my concerns and clarifying them. Staff is excellent and courteous. Wishing her continuned success in her Practice!

I was disappointed and shocked when I contacted her office and found out she did NOT accept Humanachoice Florida (PPO). I have never encountered a doctor that did NOT accept our Insurance company. I still don't understand. Patricia McKibbin

Dr. McCullough took the time to fully educate fully re: my med condition & allowed me to make a fully informed decision. While first I did not want to participate in surgery, she very readily respected that decision and worked with me to find another solution. When it was my decision to proceed with surgery, I could not have asked for a more patient, caring, professional, & dedicated doctor. I whole- heartedly sing her praises when I speak with others facing similar medical issues.

I was extremely fortunate to find Dr. McCullough, because I was not sure if my problems were more in the areas of urology or gynecology. If you are among the 1 in 4 women who have experienced any form of unwanted sexual contact or sexual abuse, no matter at what age, then this is a caring and competent physician who can hear your story and provide the care and answers that you need. She is professional, yet compassionate.......and will be sensitive to all your concerns.

I have been seeing Dr. McCullough for almost a year. I had to have Pelvic reconstructive surgery and had been to 3 other doctors prior to finding her. All men, who I felt couldn't relate to what I was experiencing. Finding Dr. McCullough was a God-send. Taking time to talk about my problem. She explained in detail what we needed to do. I'm writing to express my gratitude for the treatment I receive at your hands on 7/19/2006.Today was my last post-op visit with Dr.McCullough.She and her staff are wonderful and caring .They made me feel very safe and comfortable .The counseling I received from Dr.McCullough before undergoing the surgery was crucial in my speedy recovery .Dr.McCullough is extraordinary doctor and extra human being.Dr.like her replace the fear of illness with trust in recovery.Thanks again.

Dr. McCullough and her staff are amazing. Dr. McCullough clearly loves and knows her profession. Until she was 100% sure every angle of uncertainty was checked, she made sure every possible test was done before she would proceed with scheduling the surgery. All the information was explained and detailed papers were sent with me. I would recommend everyone, no matter the distance. I drove 1hr 15min one way and would do it again no questions.

From my first encounter with Dr. McCullough She made me feel comfortable and like I was her only patient. She takes whatever time necessary to explain all aspects of your treatment in terms that are understandable. No question is unimportant. You can reach her at any time if you have any concerns about whatever procedure you had done. The fact that she is a Doctor in a specialized field does not make her unapproachable. Dr. McCullough will be my Gynecologist from here on.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. McCullough! She corrected my bladder issue and gave me my life back. Surgery was smooth, recovery was painless.
