Mohammad Ahsan

I was hit by a car 2 years ago and live in constant pain due to 2 bulging disc’s and nerve impingement. I wasn’t sure if he could do anything for my pain but 2 spinal injections really made a big improvement in my life. I was so grumpy and uncomfortable seeing him and he always joked around and made me laugh in light of how bad I was feeling. I will live with pain the rest of my life but I know Dr. Ahsan can help make it more bearable. I highly recommend him and his staff!

This doctor is awesome! He has been able to wean me from the narcotic painkillers I was taking. He is professional and kind. His services have helped me with my debilitating arthritis. Dr. Ahsan is amazing. He made a severe spinal headache much more bearable. His staff are wonderful and the procedure was completely painless.

I was treated with a high degree of professionalism and care by Dr Ahsan and his staff. They suggested cortisone treatment for my lower back issues and the results were transformational. Dr Ahsan has helped me tremendously! When I first started seeing him, I was in much pain and on strong painkillers. Now I am almost pain free and have been able to stop all of the heavy duty pain pills!

I have been going to Dr. Ahsan for many years. He has helped me tremendously with my chronic pain. He is a personable, knowledgeable and kind doctor.

Dr. Mohammad Ahsan is professional and very knowledgeable in pain management, he clearly explains options, procedures, and takes the time to answer all your questions mixed with a refreshing sense of humor to make you feel comfortable! As an active person I enjoyed walking, jogging 5Ks, swimming, traveling, but the past two years I suffered from excruciating lower back pain down my right leg. Tried multiple rounds of PT, various prescriptions, nothing helped it was painful to simply walk! After seeing several specialists I was referred to Dr. Ahsan. He assessed my symptoms, asked appropriate questions, and was committed to relieving my pain long-term. Today I write this review pain free, and going on a hiking trip next week! When I first met him, I was so impressed with how knowledgeable, kind and supportive he was. He is still that, and much more, to this day. He is up-to-date on the latest treatments and procedures. He talks you through each one as he is performing it which helps alleviate fear and concern. Most importantly, he really listens to what my needs are and suggests many different options. He is so intelligent, witty and compassionate. He’s been a Godsend for me in keeping me mobile and helping me get my life back. His staff, Michelle, Kasia, and Yany, just to name a few, is professional, efficient, nurturing, and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Ashan to anyone in need of the best pain doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Ahsan, for several reasons. He is caring, has good bedside manners and most importantly he knows what to do any how to do it right. I firmly believe that a patient must have a high level of trust in a physician or you need to find another doctor. I have that trust level with Dr. Ahsan and his entire staff.

Had severe arthritis to left hip with much pain. Dr Ahsan did a PRP procedure on my left hip and recommended I do physical therapy. The pain has been reduced by about 90% around 2 months after the procedure. He was recommended to me by my primary care physician. I am very glad I went to Dr Ahsan and highly recommend him!

Dr. Ahsan is an excellent doctor and provide great service. Every time I'v had to visit the office for pain related to back leg, hip and neck pain I have felt a 100 percent after his treatment. I have been to Dr. Ahsan twice for steroid injections to relieve pain in my back, Both times he was able to expertly place the injections precisely where needed to relieve pain. Believe me, not every doctor is able to do that! I am able to experience a fuller life with much less pain due to Dr Ahsan. Prior to my First meeting with Dr. Ahsan, I had discouraging results with chronic pain ( Neck and back Pain). This ongoing daily pain with my spinal stenosis-had created a constant deteriorating life style of inactivity isolation and depression. Then a good friend highly recommended Dr. Ahsan, And I per used his history of educational qualifications, his credentials and his numerous awards. I found his history remarkably impressive and unprecedented background in his field. During my visit with Dr. Ahsan, I found my procedural injections surprisingly pain free and and effective for months. Dr. Ahsan's manner with me, continue to remain kind and so compassionate. His staff as well, creates a safe and nurturing environment for me. Dr. Ahsan is fairly good but you had better bring some food, a tent and a sleeping bag. Average wait time there is 90 minutes just to see the Dr.

He is an excellent doctor. He is accurate, explains procedures to you, answers your questions, and doesn't rush through your appointment. He tends to run late, but that appears to be because he truly cares and listens , no matter how long it takes. I will most surely return to him whenever the need arises. He also has a great sense of humor, which he uses to calm patients. I trust his abilities and will refer others to him.

Dr Ahsan went out of his way when I showed up at the Arlington Heights when the power was out and I was not aware of. He helped me even though it was his personal time and he had just went back to the office to pick up things he had forgotten. He found out how to get into their computers and the medical network program. He helped me with going down on my medication and explained how I would feel while going down on my medication. He wrote out the prescriptions and I have an appt in 2 weeks.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ashan. I had a HORRENDOUS bout of shingles. My doctor was at a loss because my case was so severe in a person my age. My doctor telephoned Dr. Ashan and he got me in the following day. That day he also was able to get me an MRI and two days later I was back in his office getting treatment. With his help I am feeling better. He is a compassionate, highly educated doctor whom I would see again if needed.

Watch out for Dr. Ahsan's mosquito bites! They really aren't mosquitoes, but the doctor's good nature in announcing the beginning of the treatment. His treatment WORKS!! I have little to no pain. Thank you Dr. Ahsan.

I've had pain most of my adult life advancing with the years. I've been a patient of Dr Ahsan for a few years. Night & Day compared to other pain clinics. Treatment is truly patient specific not cookie cutter or rushed. I've reduced my work sick time, I exercise and my quality of life has improved greatly. Dr Ahsan is very busy like any Dr who is good at what they do. However, I never feel like he's distracted during my visit.

I do not know where I would be without Dr Ashan. Most doctors are afraid to treat chronic pain patients. I was injured in motor vehicle accident... left with lifetime spinal injuries and chronic myofacial syndrome. Dr Ashan plays by the book and most importantly he takes my injuries and pain seriously. To be honest my pain is so severe Id go to any lengths to get relief. Thankfully I do not have to take matters into my own hands. I have Dr Ashan handling it. Kelli Fitzgerald

Having chronic pain as long as I have, I was quite happy to find Dr. Ahsan. He is very understanding and compassionate about your pain. He has a very dry sense of humor that I had to get used to. I also like that he is by the book. I have total confidence in everything he tells me.
