Dr. Katz genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to talk through the underlying problems and come up with innovative solutions. He is honest and direct. I highly recommend Dr. Katz.

He is amazing! My daughter is very thin, so other GIs immediately labeled her as having an eating disorder. Dr. Katz listened and understood that she felt horrible, and that she wanted to eat, but the nausea was really bad. He switched her meds around and gave her her life back. I remember his excitement at finally seeing a smile on my child's face when she started improving.

Very short with my family and I. Couldng seem to explain the procedure to us at all. He really acted like he didn't care about what our family was going through at all. I also witnessed him lash out at several other staff members. Really painted a picture of the man he is. Overall very unpleased. Choc hospital is a great place to bring your kids just really dissapointed in this doctor.

I absolutely love Dr Katz as our daughter's Ped GI doctor. The nurse, however, left me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on me. I called back and was then put on hold for another 30 minutes. I asked her to please please please call me back when she finishes with her last patient and guess what...she didn't. My daughter just needed a simple refill of her prescription which was faxed over to their office 3 days in advance. Now it's the weekend and I'm unable to give my baby girl her much needed medication. I blame the nurse on this not Dr Katz. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

My daughter is severely disabled, so we see specialists in just about every field. Dr. Katz is by far the BEST doctor we have! His personality is a bit gruff so it may take a little getting used to, but you can tell he truly LOVES his patients. My daughter always gets a kiss on the forehead, and his full attention. I recommend Dr. Katz to anyone who needs a Pediatric GI!
