Dr Patel is very caring and through. She has solved a number of my foot problems. A pleasure to work with. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I have to say; this practice is amazing. From making my very first phone call to make my son’s appointment; I knew I picked the right office. The staff is very small; which I personally love. The first time I walked into the office with my son; they knew exactly who we were. My son was 16 months during his appointment and Dr. Patel was so patient with him. My son would cry and kick and Dr. Patel was very quick and efficient in what she had to do. But most importantly she was very gentle in what she had to get done. For me personally being a mother; it’s hard to trust someone to make sure my son is going to get the best care; and I can say; I have trust in Dr. Patel and her office. Everyone is nothing but great at that office, I highly recommend this office to everyone!

I went to Dr. Patel regarding an issue I was having with my left foot. The issue turned out to be far more severe and led to Dr. Patel performing a successful surgery on the foot. Besides getting to the bottom of the issue with thought and care, I cannot say enough about her thoroughness and kind bedside manner. I also cannot say enough nice things about her office staff, especially Linda. Dr. Patel comes highly recommended by me!

Dr. Patel operated on my right foot two weeks ago. To say she did a wonderful job is an understatement! Let me start with her bedside manner, she is direct, caring and allows you to ask any questions you would like. Second, she explained the level of pain I would be in after surgery and emphasized how important it was to maintain a ridged schedule of taking the pain medication so that the pain was minimal to non existent for three days only. The surgery it self was well done and my toes are doing well. If you have foot problems, Dr Patel is the doctor to choose.

From my very first appointment, Dr. Patel spent time evaluating and explaining her findings with me in a clear and unhurried manner. She provided me with products and treatments to manage my pain while waiting for a surgery date. My foot surgery went extremely well, and her follow-up care has been exceptional. After having had a prior unsuccessful surgery, I know that my care is in the very best of hands with Dr. Patel before, during and after foot surgery.

I was very happy with the practice and my treatment. Dr. Patel is really knowledgeable, patient and kind. You can tell when you meet her that she cares about her clients. I have recommended her to many people and they were all happy with her services too.

After trying different Podiatrists over the last few years, Dr. Patel treated and cured my fungal nail infection over the course of a few months. Nothing short of a miracle! Dr. Patel is an outstanding Podiatrist. She truly cares about her patients.

If I could put 100000 stars, I would. The ladies there were very attentive to my concerns. Dr. Patel was very nice and talked to me what she was doing to my feet and nails and why she was doing it. She is concerned about the health of her patients’ feet and ensures she does her part to help maintain the health of your feet. Overall, my experience was great and everyone made me feel very welcomed.

Absolutely awful bedside manner, unprofessional receptionists.

Dr Patel has a way of welcoming you and keep you as a permanent patient for money. She’s selling a bunch of products that’s give you poor results so you can become a lifetime patient. Which real podiatrist can’t treat fungus infection???? She kept me going to her office, making money with my insurance, having me buying every products from her office, only prescribed me one medication that was covered by my insurance for 4 years. I have not missed one appointment, but i wasn’t able to sleep with itchiness and my fungus infection never went away. I recently start going to a real care giver, not a business doctor, and i see real results. I do not recommend this place. I have been a patient for a few years and from the beginning have always been treated well. Dr PAtel takes the time to explain things. And she cares about your over all health. The office is always helpful and friendly. I recomend this office

If you are looking for a Podiatrist that specializes in podiatry, toe infections, calluses and orthotics and any foot/ankle conditions. I recommend Dr. Patel. I had a toe infection that needed to be treated right away and she helped me with the best care. She is also very professional, kind and very good at what she does.

just love Dr Patel and her whole practice! I first started seeing Dr. Patel about 4 years ago. I was having chronic foot pain every time I exercised. After having testings and PT nothing seemed to show what was the issue until one day she asked me if have any skin Psoriasis. Although I was never diagnosed with it I was suffering with nail issues and swollen finger joints which I showed her. And that's when I found out the reason why I was having foot issues, she sent me to see a Rheumatologist and that's when her diagnosis was proven that I was suffering from Psoriatic Arthritis. So I thank Dr Patel every day for figuring out what was wrong with me. I am a regular patient and see her 6 times a year for the ongoing issues I have with my feet. I am always greeted warmly at the front desk and especially by Dr Patel. I feel so comfortable seeing her even though I have nervous anxiety when seeing my doctors. Dr. Patel is a wonderful doctor, and she really cares about her patients well being. I am a full-time college student with a very hectic schedule, and she was able to accommodate everything to fit into my schedule. She is very friendly and actually enjoys having a conversation with her patients. Dr. Patel makes sure all your questions are answered and have you leaving with an effective treatment. Highly recommend her.

I found Dr Patel based on other positive reviews and gave her a shot. Going to other podiatrists over the years on and off, I was fighting a stubborn nail fungus for 20 years, spending money on everything from topicals, oral meds and laser treatment, nothing had worked. Dr Patel evaluated the situation, created a plan and was persistent and confident in how to appropriately tackle the issue. After 7-8 months of rigorous treatment for a stubborn issue, I can finally go to the beach and walk around without being embarrassed. No lasers, no pain, no extraneous nonsense. Just straightforward effective treatment.

First off I never leave reviews especially negative ones if I could give South Shore Podiatry a zero I would. I do not recommend this office, I have been a patient for 3 years and always have had issues with the ladies at the front desk and referrals. The ladies that are at the front desk are always nasty and make you chase down referral's instead of doing their job..I called 3 times about my referral's and they are no help...They tried to charge me a $100 to see me (because they did not receive my referal, which was entirely their fault) after giving me a 7:45 am appointment and then had me wait 20 minutes, for the doctor to arrive at 8...On top of it all they charged me $50 for missing an appointment previously because my wife was in labor...They called me the day of and the lady at the front desk was more concerned that I missed my appointment instead of saying congratulations on your first born child...Highly recommend staying away from this place and the people that work at this establishment. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel. I fractured my toe over the weekend and had trouble finding a podiatrist to treat it right away. Dr. Patel was able to schedule an appointment with me the same day that I got the injury. She is a very nice person, and is incredibly caring when it comes to patient care.

Where other podiatrists would have told me to have it surgically removed, she didn't elect to do that because it can cause scarring and problems later on. After 3 months of visits, and Dr. Patel trying different ways to remove it, it was gone without the need for surgery. 2 months later it is still gone and would 100% reccomend Dr. Patel to anyone in need of a good podiatrist. Dr. Patel, seemed to want to try to help my daughters issue, @ times seemed frustrated dealing with a teenager (maybe they prefer older patients) what is absolutely horrible is the office, actually the office manager Linda..no courtesy no empathy. The type of office manager with chip on her shoulder. 2 hours before my daughters appt my father was rushed to the hospital. I called to cancel the appt, (I had no one to take her she is 17, you need an adult to visit Dr. Patel) to explain & apologize. Well I got the $50 no show fee still. Called to explain the situation (father is now in hospice) again the rude manger said she was still charging me! Really life happens, I just couldn’t get there, so rude couldn’t even bother to ask how my father was, just wanted the $50. I have been to several Dr office for my 2 parents & family of 5, I have never had somebody speak so uncaring on the phone as Linda. SAD, Dr. Patel could be a good Dr but I would never recommend her because of her office!

For the past 13 years, I’ve had the immense privilege of being under the skillful care of Dr. Patel. She’s the most dedicated, kindhearted doctor I’ve ever known. She treats both her patients and staff with the utmost respect and thoughtfulness. Dr. Patel is so personable! She’s always warm and friendly, and it’s obvious that she loves being a podiatrist. She’s thorough, gentle, and never rushes through appointments. You won’t find a more compassionate podiatrist than Dr. Patel. I know this because I saw several other foot doctors before meeting her. Ten years ago, I was seeing a large Podiatry Group for a severe infection on my toe. They chose Dr. Patel to manage my case while in the hospital. Thanks to her efforts, I still have ten toes. I have continued to see her in the Massapequa office. She has continued to provide excellent medical care. She is respectful, very strict with Covid 19 precautions, and the wait time is minimal. I highly recommend Dr. Patel.

It was a process, after several months of trying to get rid of them myself, but Dr. Patel was excellent - she was patient, explained everything that I needed to know, and made the process bearable. I went to DR. Patel's office for ingrown toenails and she helped me take care of them every time I went. When I was getting them cut she was so nice and talked to me the whole way through to make sure I wasn't thinking about the pain and it worked. Dr. Patel diagnosed my severe foot pain on my 1st visit. She explained everything in detail about my treatment plan that she would recommend. I had 2 torn tendons and the pain was bad. I am now fully healed and don't have pain like I was having when I first saw her. I don't need surgery and I am beyond thrilled about that. Dr. Patel is kind and caring an makes you feel at ease. Was previously a patient in a different office, & was terribly disappointed when Dr. Patel left. I felt it was important for me to write this review to let people know how happy I am with my podiatrist. In my opinion, Dr. Patel is more than a doctor of podiatric medicine. While she is a specialist who expertly provides medical diagnosis and treatment for my foot and ankle problems, she always goes out her way to make me feel special. Dr. Patel understands the importance of managing her patients concerns. She took the time to explain my injury and what to expect from treatment and rehabilitation. Most important is how she communicates with her patients. She is one of the few doctor’s I have ever met that explains things in a way that is easy to understand. Her staff is very courteous and respectful of my time. They always try to accommodate my time by setting up timely appointments. I needed to find the BEST podiatrist on Long Island. I suffered serious injuries to my feet after blood clots almost took my life. Gangrene in my right foot resulted in the amputation of four toe tips. I could not walk for years without tremendous pain. Dr. Mital Patel was my last hope at regaining some quality of life back. Dr. Patel is an AMAZING doctor! She took the time (and had the patience) to treat my condition with everything I needed - including cutting off callouses every two weeks, to having the PROPER orthotics made so that I can walk! I owe Dr. Patel so much more than a glowing review. She gave me my life back!!! Her staff is wonderful, her appointments are on time. Her compassion and dedication is a blessing!!!! Dr. Patel is very caring and compassionate and dedicated to our needs. My husband and I both see her for our foot issues and are very happy with her treatment. She has gone above and beyond to take care of us when we had an emergency. I would highly recommend her to friends and family.

Went to have nails cut very sloppy. Would not go back Send out for nail biopsy never informed me of results. Don’t go here.

My experience was horrendous. I went to a different doctor for a second opinion especially after everything shift going on. I was told I had a fracture, tendinitis, & arthritis. I was told my a specialist I'm 25 I don't have arthritis which she just said to sell her arthritis cream that was a must buy and insoles for a problem that wouldn't help. I got a shot in my toe that I now know was for nothing. I have complications with my sigmoid bone NOT any of the 3 things she has told me. So I wasted a lot of time for nothing! And after arguing about insurance and Appling it correctly, I thought my headache was over. NOPE! On top of all this due to my insurance changing for the new year THANK GOD she didn't accept it she offered to see me off the books for 50$ cash. UMMMMMM that is highly unproffesional and SHIFTY. I learned quickly that this was NOT the place for me not only was I told the wrong diagnosis but I was sold many items that I DONT need for her benefit NOT mine. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Terrible experience with Dr Patel. Don't let her demeanor fool you, she's only in practice for the money. She ordered so many different, costly treatments over many months to guarantee a steady revenue stream from me and my insurance. None of which alleviated any of my pain.

I had such a pleasurable experience . I felt so confterable . The staff was friendly , the place was clean and the doctor was an absolute doll. She knew exactly what the problem was and took care of it right away . Within a week my foot was better . I highly reccomend it here . I will be going back from now on.

I finally found a professional, compassionate, knowledgable physician in Doctor Mitel Patel. As soon as I was welcomed in the office and then met the doctor I felt a sense of safety and competency. Visited Dr. Patel for heel pain which she diagnosed and treated. She took her time to show me and explain my problem. The treatment and advice cleared the problem up almost immediately. WOW! I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Patel as well as her staff. I originally came into her office the summer of 2018 for an underlying foot Injury that just wasn't getting any better after seeing an orthopedic doctor. Dr. Patel was very patient with me and took the time to sit and listen to all of my concerns and worries. With that being said, she was able to give me a treatment plan and make my foot feel better! One day when I was in for a follow up appointment and I expressed my concern that I'd been having pain in my other foot, my joints, and nail problems as well. Dr. Patel asked me a whole bunch questions and then suggested I go see a Rhuemetologist because she felt like I was suffering from an underlying auto immune disease called Psoriatic Arthritis. Well she was right! And if it wasn't for her I'd still be in pain today! I highly recommend Dr. Patel.
