Dr. Minerva Santos

They just canceled my appointment with less than 8 hours notice. The reason was because last year when i made an appointment for my physical she wasn’t available so I saw another doctor. So she won’t see me now. Acting more like a jealous boyfriend than a medical professional.

I’ve never written a bad review before but I feel people should be able to count on their doctor. She was my doctor for 5 years. Last year I had to make an appointment she didn’t have any availability so I went to another doctor at Caremont. I was having symptoms and I made an appointment 5 days later within 8 hours of my appointment they canceled. They said because I saw the other doctor she wouldn’t see be any more. I was so upset and asked if they would just make sure I’m ok and the nurse said no she won’t see you - you can go to the other doctor or a specialist. I’m happy she dropped me, I never want to depend for my health. I think she used to be a good doctor, I’m not sure what happened.

She was thorough and provided good advice.

Very cold and rude Dr. that should not have a license. Worst Dr. I have ever seen. So upsetting.

Terrible Doc. Very bad bed side manners towards patients . Told my mom that she was making up illnesses.

You are always rushed, no personable service and you are always told to go to urgent care when you call and need an appointment that same day or even a day or two later

I met Dr Minerva Santos in 2005 for my first visit. I wasn't feeling well. Dr Santos listen carefully and knew what needed to be done for me to feel better. She is the best Doctor I have met.I am now in Wesley Chapel, Florida and have not found any Doctor like her. SHE IS THE BEST From: Theresa A Rosado

Dr.Santos was quick to dismiss my questions/concerns &made it seem like she had no interest in seeing me.This was not even the issue I had though, the issue was after I saw her &I had blood drawn. I recieved a letter in the mail saying everything was normal but my cholesterol levels were off. She wrote bluntly in the letter "your levels are off, do more cardio". Little does she know I run 16 miles a week. This was insensitive and goes to show how little she actually cares about the individual themselves as she never asked me how active I was & it turns out this runs in my family. It also turned out this was not an isolated incidence. I spoke to a friend who went to her with serious concerns-she had lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time, & was concerned that it was a result of the depression she was experiencing, Dr. Santos told her "people are jealous when they see someone your size,so smile about it" & then told her to read &do yoga for her depression. Unacceptable.

THE WORST EVER!!! Unfortunately 0 Stars is not an option!!! My 75 year old mother waited ALL day for a return call from this office. After FINALLY receiving a call in the late afternoon she was told that Dr. Santos was gone for the day. My mother has other health issues and has been staying at home which is suggested for the most vulnerable. However, the office was completely unsympathetic and said she should go to the ER or Urgent Care if she needed to be seen right away. We also tried a virtual visit which resulted in the doctor never connecting but my mother was billed $99 for a visit that never happened. It says in her visit history that it did happen. CAREMOUNT IS THE WORST-GOD FORBID YOU NEED A PHYSICIAN FOR ANYTHING NON-COVID RELATED. You would think that a physician my mom has had for many many years would take time to return a phone call. I guess that's expecting too much.

Caring and quick to get to the issue. Always listens to you.

Went to Urgent care with symptoms. Was told its post nasal drip and that I should self medicate with Mucinex D. Sent off on my way. Want back 2 weeks later with worse symptoms was told that unless I self medicate my body will not fight the symptom's. Went to another urgent care a week later and was treated with steroids and other medicines as I had a serious infection in my sinuses. How do you say such to a patient, and I had to go 3 times and pay 3 co pays cause she chose not to prescribe pills. I am not a pill popper, but treat the symptoms... Very unhappy. I scheduled an appointment and took the day off of work. I was called two days before the appointment and told it would have to be rescheduled. We chose another day at 8:30 am. I confirmed the time and date and I put it into my calendar and requested another day off of work. When I showed up to my appointment I was told it was at 8am. I am absolutely positive I would have never made an appointment at that time as I am not able to drop my kids off that early. The office was not helpful, and I have lost two days at work and still have not seen a doctor. I will be looking elsewhere for more responsible care. Very unhappy. Very nasty not helpful at all. Jumped to conclusions. Horrible service.

Dr. Santos saved my husband's life with an astute diagnosis of a masked condition that numerous other highly rated doctors had missed. We will be eternally grateful. She has been our primary physician for over twenty years and she is nothing short of phenomenal.

Rude, unhelpful, cold. Do yourselves a favor and see someone else, seeing her was a big waste of time, I’m still sick and in a lot pain.

Dr Minerva Santos is the best, so I have no idea what the prior person was talking about. If you are looking for a physician that knows their "stuff" as well as understands integrative medicine, Dr Santos is for you. As an alternative practitioner I love the fact that Dr Santos understands the herbs or supplements that I am using and doesn't poo poo them like other docs I have seen in the past. She's the best Dr Minerva Santos is the best, so I have no idea what the prior person was talking about. Dr. Santos wouldn't take the time to listen to my concerns or look at my symptoms. She spent no time with me, jumped to a diagnosis even though the test was negative, and prescribed medication anyway--wrongfully. She doesn't care about patients and just wants you out of the office.
