Horrible service.

Absolutely great doctor. He is very detailed and caring. Interacts in a very caring way with your children and it really shows he enjoys his work and is very knowledgeable. His nurses are wonderful and ready to always help. It is very easy to setup an appointment and the coordination of care is amazing.

Worst experience I’ve ever experienced dr Holloway’s receptionist is by far rude !! He needs to have a better staff!! Dr Bhavna Vaniawala MD is an awesome doctor with respectful staff

Dr. Holloway is amazing! The staff and Dr. Patel are the reason I'll never step foot in the office again. The front receptionist is extremely abrasive. My first visit with Dr. Patel she immediately "reprimanded" me for rescheduling a previous referral and completely disregarded the reason for my current visit. Not worth it in my opinion. I hate to write this but I am in such shock at what I was told today. I love Dr. Holloway and so do all three of my boys. We had some insurance mix up and I thought we had taken care of it but regardless. I went to make a appointment today and was told my boys would not be seen because I owe them $50. In the middle of a pandemic I now have to have my children in a urgent care with covid cases if they need to be treated. I am so disappointed in this office I will may my 50 but after six years of my 3 boys going there I may never return. I will also report this to Medicaid and let them know the refusal to be seen at this point. I hate to write this but I am in such shock at what I was told today. Dr. Holloway and Dr. Patel have been our pediatricians for almost 16 years, serving my 4 children. They have been there for us through genetic testing, a newborn with the flu, allergy testing, a concussion, puberty, and helping a new mom navigate the unknowns of Mom Life. Throughout it, they have never rushed us out of the office, failed to be responsive, or not supplied me with the information I needed as a parent to help my children. Moreover, they have been an integral aspect of our support system in raising these children. From the first meeting at the hospital where Dr. Holloway held my hours old baby to this last appointment where she drove us herself, Dr. Holloway and Dr. Patel have provided exceptional medical care to my children. I have never hesitated to refer friends and family to this medical group. As with any business, there are downsides. Calling in to get an appointment first thing in the morning can require a high volume of repeat phone calls for up to an hour. As mentioned in another review, yes, this is annoying. However, it is because they schedule same day sick children appointments every day. They leave open blocks of time available all day to squeeze in sick little ones. That means that you can't call at 1 pm the day before to schedule an appointment for a sick child. Everyone is trying to call at the same time. Additionally, it's not often, but it does happen that they run out of vaccinations and you have to bring your child back for a second visit to get one more. This has happened approximately 4-5 times to me in 16 years with 4 children getting vaccinated on schedule, including flu and HPV. If you consider that children receive at least 16 shots by 18, that puts the batting average for my 4 children at a 6% chance of them being out of one shot. That's not a common occurrence, but again, it has happened. Through the years, the nursing staff has always been phenomenal. It's the same friendly faces over and over. The front of the office can be where you encounter a less personable staff member. I've yet to have anyone be rude with me, but I have had some experiences where the person did not seem to want to be at work that day. However, in 16 years of service, there has never been 1 scheduling mishap or a billing error. Ever. So, I personally would exchange the niceties of small talk for efficiency. Seen Dr Halloway for a few yrs. He is a ok doctor, have no complaints on him, however his staff is HORRIBLE!!!!!! My daughter sees many Doctors and I have a full time job. His nurse was SCREAMING at when I called to get school papers filled out after going to court with the school (wow, I am busy, right!) because I hadnt come in in 9 months (my daughter is 4) and hung up on me. Once when my daughter was sick (ended up in the hospital) her dad took her up there they litterly yelled at him to make an appt. He walked out, called me. I called them, they had a immediate appt!!!!!! Horrible people, he needs to check his staff. Seen Dr Halloway for a few yrs. I switched to flint children’s center about 4 years ago and my boys see Dr Holloway or Dr Patel. I switched after my oldest became very ill and after months of fighting with the old pediatrician and following my gut we made the decision to fire him. It was a decision that potentially saved my sons life. Holloway is phenomenal. He’s personable. He’s never in and out. He will sit and explain things to you until you feel comfortable. Patel is the same. She’s great with the kids. The two of them are the doctors my boys ask to go see, never once have they feared them. The staff on top of that is always friendly and welcoming. Dr Holloway is not my daughters doctor but he is who my daughter saw while her doctor is out of town. My impression of him is not a good one. He is rude in trying to force a bashful child to speak to him when they do not know him and are obviously uncomfortable which is not a good quality in a pediatrician. The other problem I have is that he assumes all parents are the same and that we must be uneducated and questions why a parent would be bringing their children in for something that he does not deem important which is extremely insulting. Before he thinks to ask the proper questions he's already insulted you many times. It's sad when a child says mom he's so rude! Oh and don't get me started on the overall lack of respect for your concern regarding your child. I spoke with a few people who have taken their children to him and they have the same issues and are not taking their children back to him. I'm personally looking for a new doctor for my child. We won't see him again.

Love the doctors and staff but getting threw to the office has been horrable for some time now. Have to call over and over for a couple hours to get threw if you make it threw before they go to lunch.

It’s not a very welcoming staff. Quite rude actually. Everyone seemed to make me feel like a burden. I am going to talk to my husband and switch clinics.
