I have never been more disrespected or made to feel so small in my entire life and that is saying ALOT. I’ve had numerous visits with her and I am the most respectful and kind hearted person you could meet. She never made me feel like I could express my concerns or really just make a point about my concerns and today I did. I’ve been very scared about my health and feel like something is seriously wrong and my family pressured me to make sure my doctor hears me and to really let DR Mears understand how scared I am. I needed help. I need help. And Dr Mear treated me like I was worthless and would not explain my blood results to me, because I wanted to know my testosterone levels...? It came out of nowhere. I was concerned about it but since she was not.. she didn’t care and refused to help me or read my results to me. I was in tears trying to explain how scared I was for my life. And she verbatim told me “I don’t know you, I don’t care about you that much”. Are you serious? What kind of doctor belittles someone that is confused and scared to death about their life? I care about people I don’t know.. she’s a DR, isn’t it her job to care? I’ve had one of the worst weeks of my life and am so scared, that I’ve hyperventilated and had panic attacks every night. And Dr Mears basically broke her OATH and made me feel so small and crushed my hopes of getting help and now I am left alone and hurt and helpless all because she didn’t care enough to help a hurting scared person.. Dr. Mears has been my only doctor for some 15yrs. I have significant issues with medical professionals and procedures. Dr. Mears has understood this and had worked with me. I live in Beaverton and drive to North Plains to see her and her very efficient professional staff. I remain healthy at 65 with her as my Doctor. Thank you Dr. Mears. Dr. Mears is one of the most knowledgeable people I know in the medical arena. When I've visited specialists, she's the one who often is able to ascertain what the best diagnosis is, and how to proceed. She has taken excellent care of various members of our family for at least 15 years (or perhaps it's more).
