Don’t ever want her working on my bones

I was referred to Dr. Beamer 7 years ago for a broken foot and sprained ankle. After wearing a walking cast and completing physical therapy, I was still in severe pain. In my follow-up visit, she looked at my x-ray (without examining my foot or ankle), looked me dead in the eye and told me I wasn’t in pain anymore. What I was experiencing wasn’t real. My feet just hurt because I was overweight. It took two years to get to a specialist at UPMC, who confirmed that she initially misdiagnosed my injury as an avulsion fracture (it was a clean break), and after walking on the foot for 2+ years to try to lose weight, the bone was STILL broken. As a bonus, I developed so much scar tissue around the injury (due to continued exercise and pressure on the area), which resulted in chronic plantar fasciitis and osteoarthritis. I had two surgeries at UPMC to correct these issues, but I now have osteoarthritis and bone spurs for life. If she has correctly diagnosed me - or even listened to me - this all could’ve been avoided. But rather than admit she didn’t know what she was doing, she blamed me. If I could forward all those medical bills to her, I would.

Dr Bramer took care of my husband after his wreck and she was absolutely amazing. I would definitely refer anyone to her

Dr Bramer listens to patients and provides outstanding care with compassion.

Great surgeon. Terrible pain management. Just doesn't seem to care about post surgery pain and is more concerned with treating everyone as if they are addicts and seeking.

Dr Bramer is a very conscientious, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. She helped my daughter’s broken knee cap without surgery and in spite of my daughter ‘s MS. She was a pleasure to work with.

My experience with Dr.Bramer was amazing her and her team saved my husbands life as well as his arm and leg that he could have lost due to a very traumatic car crash my husband was a C3 trauma patcient the worst there is they have the hands of gods thank you for everything you guys have done Alicia&Drake Oct.1,2018
