As a massive weightloss patient, it was important for me to find a plastic surgeon that had experience in that particular area. Also at the top of my list -- a great safety record with a long list of happy patients. After much research, I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Zarrabi. From the first point of contact, the level of professionalism was top notch. The ladies in the office are knowledgeable and kind. At my first office visit, Dr. Zarrabi explained in great detail what he believed the best course of action was for my body. He listened to my laundry list of concerns and goals. He was very honest about the areas I referred to as trouble areas, that I knew would be tough to address all at once due to the extreme amount of weightloss and excess skin it created. Together, we agreed on a surgical plan that felt 100% tailored to my body and goals. I'm 4 days post-op and I could not be more ecstatic with my results as well as the aftercare. The scar placement is perfection. Belly button is looking amazing -- if you know, you know -- it's important! Dr. Zarrabi has been available to assist any time I needed him, day or night. His nurses are equally as wonderful, kind, and helpful. The entire staff and Dr. make the experience feel like a well-oiled machine. 5 stars is not enough! All i can say is WOW...excellent..phenomenal! Dr. Michael Zarrabi seriously is an excellent surgeon who also listens to his patients. I had a breast reduction revision with him. I had a breast reduction around 2007 with another plastic surgeon and I remember I came out of surgery still with big breasts but they were just lifted when clearly I asked for reduction and I was a full DDD. This time around, I said I'm not going through that again, I consulted 7 different doctors from LA to San Diego and I was not going to settle until I found a surgeon who I felt would listen to my concerns, reasons, and realistically come to a conclusion. I wanted a reduction and I wanted to be small as safely as possible. Dr. Zarrabi explained procedure thoroughly, he didn't brush me off like a few of the other doctors did during my consult. He didn't say " if you lose your nipple no big deal" ...HE TRULY CARES and wants whats best. I went to see Sherry for some fillers. She was fabulous! Since it was my first time seeing her, she spent time with me, explaining different types of fillers and options. She was extremely gentle and knowledgeable and I will definitely go back and refer my friends to her. I have been to Sherry several times in the past year and each time she has been a great experience. I just saw her yesterday for a consult for some filler and she was very honest and told me that she didn't think I needed it at this time, and she advised me to wait. My mom had problems with her wrists and was not able to open her 4th fingers on both hands due to contracture. There aren't enough good things to say about Dr. Zarrabi and his staff. After 2 babies, gaining and then losing weight, I decided I wanted to feel young and beautiful again, and part of that for me, was finding a plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck. I had consults with 3 other doctors by the time I met Dr. Zarrabi. Both my husband and I agreed within 5 minutes of ending our virtual consultation that he was the right choice for me. He spent so much time just talking me through the entire procedure, risks and benefits and answering all our questions with patience and kindness. My procedure was in December 2020. It is the absolute BEST invest I've ever made for myself and I would choose Dr. Zarrabi again and again. After My Surgery I was in Recovery for 45 minutes when the new shift came on and this older nurse was trying to get me to leave early while i was in pain and bleeding. She also contacted 2 different family and friend separately to come pick me up right when I entered the recovery room . I was feeling anxious and in severe pain but she was the only one that didn't let my family know what was going on and released confidential information to my mom. That was very rude and she breached my privacy. She tried to get me out of recovery while I was half asleep. Rude and dissatisfied of her. She made my mom drive an hour and my friend as well both came to get me. We had over an hour long drive to get back home too and I was bleeding and in serious pain. I dont know her name but I can come identify her face older white nurse lady. My team in surgery were awesome especially my doctor. After I got in recovery the shift changed and that's when everything went wrong from that one Nurse! Dr. Zarrabi is absolutely stellar. He has been an exceptional physician with the care of my hands, from successful surgery, to further diagnoses and treatments required over several years. He is attentive, diligent, caring and is everything you could hope to find in a doctor. He staff is consistently gracious and efficient, making every visit as stress-free as is possible.
